Romance / Re: Is It Ok To Always Tell Your Friend(s) Everything? by tunmininu(f): 1:09pm On May 08, 2007
I will say a capital "NO" to that.i remember a time i was telling my friend virtually everything that happens in my relationship, i mean everything.i went as far as telling her some other illegal things i do,not knowing that i was telling digging my grave.she went about telling people including her family members how bad i am,that i date more than 5 guys at a go,her parents started seeing me as a bad influence to their children,i suspected that something was amiss, but i didn't know that she had tarnished my image in front of everybody until her caught her in the act.It was really painful but i have moved on.

I came to the conclusion that probably she was jealous of me and all that, but now,i have learnt to keep my liitle secrets to myself or if not,i share it with my immediate younger sister. At least, she won't go about running her mouth like "MY FRIEND" did.

Romance / Re: Why Young Women Often Date Older Men by tunmininu(f): 12:48pm On Apr 30, 2007
Hey guys,i don't really understand u, Are u talking about men 30s or big daddies of about 50 and above?
I think it all depends on what we want. For me,my boyfriend is 9 years older than i am and we are getting on well.A guy of my mate might not be able to pamper me and care for me the way he is doing. He drops me off at work everyday and he finds time to come and pick me off sometimes. He advises me on somethings that has to do with my future. He's always there to give a helping hand.
I doubt if a guy of my mate could reason in that direction.

For me 23-25 is okay for the ladies while 30 is right for the guy and it also depends on the level of maturity.

Religion / Re: Gombe Muslim Students Have Put Me In Sorrow By Killing My Friend by tunmininu(f): 9:56am On Apr 04, 2007
I read the story too on sunday.it was pathetic. Those students were heartless. What a cruel world and the most painful part of it is that those students will go unpunished but no matter how long it may take, they will never escape the wrath of God.
It is also sad to know that the society we live in is the non-challatant one who dosen't care much about us.
It is very sad,so sad to think that some little miscreants could go that far as killing someone who is old enough to be their mother.Even if we should demand for justice, the deed had already been done my school of thought still remains that ' WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND"

My girlfriend is really in a bad state now cos of this.He loves this guy so very much and they've been looking forward to getting married but unfortunately, they are both AS.
She really loves this guy very much an she is really devastated about the whole situation.she has already concluded that she will go ahead and marry him against all odds and that they will both pray to God so that they won't give birth to SS children, but could that be possibe.
I've tried to make her see reasons but she wouldn't want to listen.I need ur urgent responses because i don't want her to put herself in a  mess that she would regret for the rest of her life. sad
Politics / Re: Lagos Gubernatorial Debate by tunmininu(f): 5:11pm On Mar 26, 2007
JIMI AGBAJE is the man,he's got the charisma to be a governor unlike the confused PEDRO,the arrogant FASHOLA,and the uncultured KORO.

VOTE JIMI AGBAJE-THE ONLY SANE GOVERNOR COME 2007.

PLS, HERE HIM OUT:

Dear All,
My name is Jimi Agbaje and by now I hope you all know I am running for Governor of Lagos State on the platform of the Democratic Peoples Alliance(DPA).

I presented my Manifesto to transform Lagos State on 4th March . I do understand not everyone could attend (not enough space anyway!) so I intend to share my vision and master plan for Lagos State with you in the next few weeks.

What is my vision for Lagos State? I must first tell you what it is not. It is NOT about repairing schools and bad roads, providing transportation and housing, healthcare, a clean environment etc! That cannot be my vision, for the simple reason that those are the things a government in power must do -thats why they were elected in the first place!

My vision is to totally transform Lagos State. It is about a reallignment and recalliberation of this state and is anchored on where Lagos State Must be in 10 years time. The state must be transformed into one of the fastest growing economies in the sub region and indeed the world. I mean massive growth in a short time and I believe we can do it! I hinge my vision on Malaysia, on Dubai, on Singapore and in our continent, on South Africa and Ghana.I deem it a shame that Nigeria, indeed Lagos State has fallen so far behind.

My vision is about service, true service to the community. It is ensuring that people are elevated from poverty, hunger, squalor and homelessness. It is about having a literate, relevantly educated people who are able to use their education to gain good employment or be self employed. It is about restoring the dignity of and rewarding hard work.It is about a secure, lively state buzzing with economic activity during the day, and entertainment at night!

My master plan is therefore to re-invent Lagos State as a productive, diversified, thriving economy through what I have captioned ENTREPRENEURAL GOVERNANCE.(e.g) Simply , it is a model of government that actively looks for creative ways and takes advantage of every opportunity which allows wealth and prosperity creation for both the people and the state.

To do this, we must: improve our peoples' skills through education, to equip them for the transformation : fully include and engage the private sector in our plans : totally upgrade our infrastructure: reverse the rapid environmental and corresponding health decline, and: ensure our people have security of life and property.
How will we achieve this? I will expantiate in my next message.

Just remember, WE CANNOT AFFORD SAME OF THE SAME or MORE OF THE SAME! Support this new vision to secure a Lagos that works. Vote for JIMI AGBAJE

Romance / Re: Marrying Someone Older Than You! by tunmininu(f): 10:12am On Mar 21, 2007
I would like to ask?HOW OLD? old enough to be ur mother.Of course not,i won't agree to that.Even our society frowns at it,forget about the saying that says Love has nothing to do with age.
But if the age difference is not very much, maybe 1-4yrs,its not bad.She might just be the one for u. cool
Romance / Re: Jilted For Lack Of Experience by tunmininu(f): 5:23pm On Mar 20, 2007
@mypeace,i feel u sis,she wants to turn herself into a street LovePeddler cos of a guy who dosen't know her worth.
I pity her sha.Pls tell her she is free to do whatever she feels with her life btu she should have it at the back of her mind that one man's meat is another man's poison.
She might feel rejected now,but there are millions fo guys out there who would do anythin just to have her as a WIFE. angry
Romance / Re: Can You Blame Her For Dating A Married Man? by tunmininu(f): 12:51pm On Mar 20, 2007
It is true that she might have gone through a lot during the times she was jilted but it is no good reason for her to date a married man,and i'm very sure if her Mr Right is not forthcoming, she would begin to think of dating the married man, thereby breaking his home directly or indirectly cos his wife would never be happy with her.
I would advise,u tell ur friend that what is not good,is not good. She shouldn't look at herself as too old to find a husband. There are still good and single men out there who would do anything to have her,bESIDES,there is nothing secret about her relationship with the man.For u to know about it,other people would have known about it too and it wouldn't speak well of her to aspiring suitors.
THINK TWICE!

sweetie,i don't see any sense in attending the wedding.Like someone said,it dosen't mean u dont wish them but ur going there is no good for u.What if u go there and all u begin to think of is the bitterness and pains he's caused u.
You have already broken the chains of love between u and him,so don't revert.Move on,girl. cheesy

I will advise we ladies, should use the kit,it's really worth using.
