terrezo2002:Imagine! Problem wey u no fit see or touch aren’t you supposed to know it requires communication with the unseen realm to deal with it! There are so many people with this issues and they like to argue a lot. |
occfx:It’s weird but do you know whites also do this its just not as much as Africans |
anonimi:Nawa o. When you enter frontpage you go understand wetin the woman dey do for there. |
HEAVEN4444:Oh wow that unusual, the message has always popped up if you wanna use bank ussd but it only shows once. But if all you do is load airtime directly with ussd you wont see it. |
HEAVEN4444:What network? Mine was airtel. I lost close to 100 naira because i was desperate to transfer last week friday |
Deepspirituals:Make dem continue to patronize you ooo. All na sababi. As a muslim our prayer na make God no go test us by answering our prayer when we mistakenly do shirk because that is a great test. |
Deepspirituals:“I can say it again and again and again and Again , If You Like Spend the Whole day responding , I won't stop Saying the Truth .. “ What an irony. He said he won’t stop saying the truth.🤣🤣. My brother your case reminds me of what Allah said in the Quran about people like you. “Allah has set a seal on their hearts and on their hearings, (i.e. they are closed from accepting Allah’s Guidance), and on their eyes there is a covering. Theirs will be a great torment.“ (Surah Baqarah ayat 7) I know it’s pointless arguing with you but it’s better to tell you first on earth so Allah will remind you in heaven. |
Deepspirituals:Baba I am well versed when it comes to the unseen world. Its just terrible to brag. And when I say islam is the best approach to God and the problems of life i know what I am saying. Even when you join powerful dark cults you find out that they deliberately turn Godly things upside down to upset God. Na because you dey operate on surface and individually. You never go deep u still dey mix shirk with God na why you no know seh this path you are threading is a delicate one. If God wan show you his magnificence he will open your eyes and that power you are seeking you will find it in the hands of jinn. You wont need to consult anymore you the jinn will just tell you. You go enjoy am at first but when the jinn begin dictate to you to do things you know are against humanity let alone God you will think twice. |
CreativeOrbit:Mr TenQ it is you who doesn’t understand abeg. You are reading the text based on your perspective. The statement is straightforward. Jesus’ disciples told him to ask God for table with plenty foods because they want to see miracles since jesus is a miracle worker. Jesus cautioned them then he helped them to ask God and God said okay o Isa I will perform the magic trick for your disciples’ amusement but miracles is not a magic trick that they should be expecting to see anyhow and if after this miracle any of your disciples turns to disbelief then I will show them pepper. Simple! ***Sorry for the earlier mixup. I was trying to address the guy that was arguing against the post*** |
Deepspirituals:My bros. All those things you call shit is why we are here on this planet. To pass the test that would take us to paradise. Also what is life without challenges. Infact Allah said If you put your trust in other things than him he will take his grace and leave you with that thing you have considered as your God. He even said infact that that thing that he gave you and you thought it was that idol that gave you he will collect it also and leave you to go and meet the empty gorodom you are consulting. That when you will know that theres nothing inside it and It has been Allah that has been granting your requests all along. And he doesn’t want you to go through any other means to reach him than through tawheed and monotheistic approach which is Islam. It is weird that you mention majority pf the things that took some some simple believers years to learn. You know all these things yet…..SubhanAllah. |
I saw a post in the Islam section. A guy was asking people to drop their names and dates of birth so he could “check their fortune.” I couldn’t believe it. I replied, “It is very sad that we have Allah at our side and very close within our reach. We also have something as powerful as the Qur’an. Yet we still take shortcuts. So unfortunate.” He didn’t take it well. But honestly, it made me think deeper. Why do so many Muslims still fall into things like fortune-telling, magic, and spiritual shortcuts even when we know better? What Is Shirk, Really? Shirk means associating partners with Allah. It is the one sin Allah says He will not forgive if a person dies without repenting from it. “Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills.” (Qur’an 4:48) Sometimes shirk is obvious, like worshipping idols. But other times, it is hidden. Believing a charm can protect you. Thinking someone can “see” your future. Showing off in prayer. These are all small forms of shirk, and they are dangerous. Why Do People Still Go to Fortune-Tellers? Most times, it is fear. Fear of failure. Fear of heartbreak. Fear of the unknown. But Allah already told us life will come with tests: “And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient.” (Qur’an 2:155) Calamities do not mean Allah has abandoned us. They are part of the journey. A way to grow closer to Him. What Is Wrong With Magic and Sihr? Magic, fortune-telling, and all these “spiritual investigations” are not just wrong. They are harmful. They open doors to confusion, fear, and even worse problems. The Prophet said: “Whoever goes to a fortune-teller and believes what he says has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad.” In many African cultures, these things are normal. People say, “Go and check spiritually,” or “Let us ask the baba.” But Islam came to clean our hearts from all that. Trusting Allah Completely Is the Real and Only Solution: Tawheed, believing in the oneness of Allah, is what gives us peace. When you know only Allah controls your life, you stop panicking. You stop running to people. You stop listening to those who mock you during hard times and say, “Go and find help elsewhere.” Even the Prophet went through pain, loss, and hardship. But he never turned to magic. He turned to Allah. So let us do the same. Let us hold on to the Qur’an. Let us be patient. Let us trust that Allah’s plan is always better, even when it is hard. Because in the end, there is no power or strength except with Him. |
Deepspirituals:To each its own my man. May Allah guide us all in the right direction. Me sef no perfect |
Who remembers that funny viral Senator Dino Melaye song: “Ajekun iya ni o je, Ajekun iya ni o je. Eni ti o toni deno tin deno deni…”😂😂😂 It wasn’t just the words. It was the performance. The chest-thumping, the victorious grin, the sheer audacity. That video wasn’t just politics. It was pure Nollywood-level drama. I know Yoruba people have long used the song as a warning or taunt, Dino’s remix gave it new life. It became a soundtrack for petty victories in my head. Although taunting your enemies isn’t exactly noble, but sometimes… just sometimes… it feels so good to be a little petty. We’re only human, after all. This got me thinking when does this song hit the sweetest? Well, here are a few scenarios I can think of: Office Politics: That colleague who tried to sabotage your promotion ends up being transferred to a dusty department. You walk past their desk humming softly. Family Frenemies: That cousin who always downplays your success suddenly sees you driving your first car. You don’t say much, but in your mind: “Ajekun iya ni o je…” Football Banter: Arsenal fans after beating Manchester United? They don’t just sing it. They shout it. Bonus points if they add dance steps. Youth vs Elders: When a young person is underestimated by an older one, only to prove them wrong in grand style. The song becomes a generational clapback. Online Trolls: That Twitter user who mocked your hustle suddenly sees your “soft life” vacation pics. You don’t reply. You just post a reel with the soundtrack. Well, up to una o… |
Deepspirituals:I wouldn’t want to derail your thread because I can see it is a means of livelihood for you. I will just create a new post. |
It is very sad that we have Allah at our side and very close within our reach. We also have something as powerful as the Quran. We still take shortcuts. So unfortunate. |
SocialJustice:Better move close to God before it is too late. Your life will be better if you do. I am not talking about money. |
SocialJustice:If you don’t see my answer as adequate or valid then God will answer you in heaven when we all meet him. No stress me abeg. I know prayers works thats all that matters. |
SocialJustice:I have answered your question. Read it carefully |
gunners160:I understand but thats why this is a forum. If it were to be an article I would have included that but I gave him my impulsive and best advice. You also gave yours. |
Gabrielshow24:Una don reach here? U only you waka kom?. Well The quran says so. Leave the matter for God |
SocialJustice:You think everyone on NAIRALAND is hungry?. Anyways back to your question. Atleast if to you God is useless when it comes to material things, this is an emotional issue and God has always proven to help with that. |
ChildOfDoom:Have you tried God?. He will fill that incomplete hole for you. |
No matter who you are if you aren’t satisfied with where you currently are then you won’t be satisfied where you relocate to. You will always have reasons to complain over there also but that time you won’t be able to say it out. Finance and comfort is your problem for now. And relocation can solve it for you but wait until other things on Maslow’s hierarchy if needs hits you. Those who relocate it’s their nature and personality. They relocate because they are nomads not because they are suffering. Any normal person that relocates comfortably will never come online to rant. |
fattprince:I suspected sha cuz it seems the guy copied my post and told AI to rephrase. Anyways it’s still funny. And no its not my second moniker. I post on NAIRALAND to give advice and have fun when i feel like and though the views can be enticing but thats not the reason i post here. |
Yes! Amusing, until cancellers starts to call for the cancellation of the zoo. They did the right thing by removing them from the zoo. |
columbus007:You must be one of those earrings wearing guys😂😂😂. Cant please everyone. |
Kutunban:🤣🤣🤣🤣 That mechanic accepting three installments is very funny |
Our society can be very critical. People are often judged not by who they are but by how well they fit into what society expects. If you are quiet, introverted, or simply minding your business, you are likely to be called proud, jobless, or even strange. There is a lot of pressure to behave a certain way just to avoid being talked about. Take VeryDarkMan for example. When he became popular during the Mohbad issue, many influencers attacked him. Not because of what he was saying but because of how he looked, his financial status, and the fact that he did not try to impress anyone. But he stood firm. Today, he is one of the most influential young Nigerians simply because he refused to be shaped by public opinion. Here’s the list, you can add your own too: Leaving the house and walking around aimlessly just to avoid being seen as jobless: You know you are not lazy o. You know you are just taking your time to rest or figure things out. But because you do not want people to say you are doing nothing with your life, you go comot for house begin move around Lagos like Igbono without any real purpose. Forcing yourself to associate with people who do not add value to your life: You stay close to people who gossip, insult you, or do not respect you just so they will not say you are proud or antisocial. You would rather tolerate nonsense than be misunderstood. Borrowing money to buy things you cannot afford just to impress others: You take loans to buy a car, rent an expensive apartment, or wear designer clothes not because you need them but because you want people to think you have made it. Meanwhile, you are under pressure financially. Taking a longer route home just to avoid being seen by olofofo in your area: Instead of passing your normal street, you go the long way just to avoid people who sit outside and turn everyone into a topic of discussion. You are avoiding unnecessary attention. Over-respecting people who constantly disrespect you: You greet someone who talks down to you, allow them to speak to you anyhow, and keep quiet all because you are hoping that one day they will realize who you really are and start respecting you. That day may come, but why go through all that? Getting married just to avoid pressure from family and society when You are not ready: You have not found the right person. But because everyone keeps asking when will you marry, you rush into a marriage just to avoid being the topic of discussion.

There is a superstition that says when a man’s wife is pregnant he usually goes broke. After observing some men and even myself I can shamefully say this seem like the truth. For some weird reasons the man usually struggle during his wife’s pregnancy and some months after she gives birth. But after that brokeness phase has passed more wealth usually comes for that man. But that’s if the man survives that hellish phase. Secondly, when the wife gives birth she usually have psychological issue one of which includes disliking the husband and fighting him and being stubborn in general. If a man isn’t careful he usually divorce his wife during this period. |
In the Qur’an, Allah tells us about a moment when the disciples of Prophet Isa (Jesus) asked him for a miracle. They said: "Can your Lord send down to us a table spread with food from heaven?" (Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:112) They wanted to see a sign so their hearts would be at peace. Isa warned them to fear Allah, but they insisted. So he prayed to Allah. Allah responded: "I will send it down to you, but whoever disbelieves afterwards from among you, I will punish him with a punishment unlike any I have inflicted on anyone among the worlds." (Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:115) This shows that seeing a miracle is not enough if the heart is not sincere. Disbelief after clear signs is a serious matter. The lesson is simple: we should not wait for miracles to believe. The Qur’an itself is a clear sign. May Allah keep us firm in faith. |
OriOko88:Pioneers of technology indeed. Lol. Like they sat in a meeting and created technology. Technology developed over time based on individual contribution through innovation and creativity white and blacks; Arabs and orientals. The difference is just some bunch of greedy people came together and commercialized it. |
