ashieduplus: Hi guys
I need quick advise on my wife's Tier 2 dependant application.
We will be getting our Court Wedding Certificate on the 21 of this month, along with pictures of the ceremony. Is it sensible to use the certificate to apply for the Tier 2 visa on the 28th (7 days later)? Or would it be prudent to wait another week?
Just make sure you submit pictures of you guys together before the wedding, chats and message, email exchange.
Wedding pic is not a priority to them...cos I know few people that got dependent Visa without filing wedding pics. And it doesnt matter how long.

famzynet: I communicated with Ethiopia airlines some days ago. They said they don't require it. But one need to find out if Nigerian airport authorities requires it for departures . I did same thing. Thanks so much for the response |

Roneld77: Thank u @giselle237
My host have already printed out her bank statement 29/07/2020 during the lockdown and the closing balance is 1,031.25 GBP
is her bank statement still valid and is the closing balance good enough as well ? If you can apply on or before 29th of August. |

giselle237: Stick to keeping your budget at 450k is what I would do. That would be 2 times your disposable income of 230k pls. Most times this has worked. This alone is same as or more than the flight ticket alone. It's not feasible. |

[quote author=Roneld77 You can just round it up to 2000 pounds.
I have a closing balance of 3,761,565.08 Naira
Pls, how much can i input as my budget for trip ? Because this people hmmm, if the money for trip budget is too much or small they will compromise.
I put 1,750 GBP is this too much or small, as my host is only providing me with accommodation and feeding, and not round ticket flight for 3 weeks holiday’s.
Thanks so much for answering my other questions, in fact the invitation letter is now corrected and medical insurance is remove, i really appreciate ur efforts and time and everyone else who answers me here
|

You can even type it from the scratch, send the soft copy to her so she can append her signature and she is gonna send the scanned copy to you. It's simple. |

Brightingsus: Don’t make that mistake of submitting payslips and withholding bank statements. Have u applied yet? If not why not wait another month should her closing balance increase. It is not that her balance is bad. It depends on how the ECO interprets it as you would be dependent on the same balance. More so, remember your own financial details are also required as your ties to Nig and especially since you would be footing the return flight tickets.
My opinion is that payslips are not enough. Have u thought of a scenario where someone earns a good salary but due to debts or dependants or other financial commitments, the person’s outgoings match (or even surpass) incoming funds? How can you convince the ECO that this is not the case with you? How can you prove that your sponsor would have no recourse to public funds while providing for you in the UK? This is by far the best advice. The balance is just too low |
I need urgent answer please... My daughter got a mail from UK Visa office that her application has not been straight forward that they would be unable to decide but if something changes they would let us know.. Please what does it mean, she wanted to relocate with her family. She's married but hasn't changed her name officially on her passport ... Respond quickly please... She's losing her mind[/quote They sent the mail cos they've been unable to finish the application within the stipulated time(15 working days) which means they are still confirming some details. You are not required to do anything cos if they needed more supporting documents, they would ask. If there is any consolation, from my experience they usually approve the Visa applications. No need to panic atall. |
