All these divide and rule tactics are all for selfish reasons. The defunct Biafran nation had an Igbo President from Anambra state (present day South East) and Obong Philip Effiong as Vice President, from Akwa Ibom state (Present day south south) . The so called " IGBO COUP" that led to the counter coup and ultimately the declaration of biafra was led by Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu, an Anioma man from present day Delta state in South South region. All of a sudden Igboho is sounding calm. Could this be because of the Nnamdi Kanu arrest? The moment some of his supporters started threatening to confront the FG in solidarity with ipob was when I started feeling suspicious about them. Yorubas are not known to be flippant, hasty, nor tactless in their choice of battles. Igboho should use the Kanu predicament as a reason to modify his movement's strategy and tactics.

I am happy he has toned down on his threats against yoruba leaders that don't see eye to eye with him concerning the agitation for secession. He should also call his exuberant and uncouth supporters to order so that they don't burn bridges that he may later need in the future of the struggle. Kanu's fate should be a big lesson to the Oduduwa Republic agitators.

I have refrained from commenting on the letter...but I am very very suspicious of the letter for several reasons

1.Fulanis are not in the habit of sending letters to a community they have beef with...they just strike .

2.The letter claims to be from the fulanis, but is adorned with images of Boko Haram...which last I checked is not a fulani group...and infact has attacked Fulani herdsmen in the past...

3.The letter claims to be 'from the Fulanis of Usman danfodio leadership' and calls themselves 'the owners of Nigeria'....for a start herdsmen don't call themselves that...plus the letter sounds more like it was written by a Southerner brought up on tales of 'Fulani dominaiton conspiracy theories'

4.The letter ends with 'DELTANS BE TOLD, BE PREPARED, ' etc.....Obvious sign that this was prepared by a propagandaist, mostl likely a Southerner. Threat letters don't end like that.

Conclusion

The letter was not written by Fulanis, or by herdsmen, but by agents provocateurs with the aim of creating crisis between the Fulanis and the delta people...the idea being that Deltans attack fulanis...and provoke a repirsal...which would lead to more crisis.

And the expected effect is happening with the response from the Delta millitants.

Whoever worte the letter does not have Nigeria, Fulani, Deltan , or any other tribe's interest.

Them the fulani leaders should come out and make a statement about it
