1. Copy out your VIN -
2. Check up the matching brain Box part number on - www.toyodiy.com - I can be of help no cost
3. Go to Ladipo (that is if you are in Lagos) and buy the matching brain box. www.toyodiy.com will confirm the matching part numbers
4. Fix the window - negotiate well with the seller, ensure you buy right thickness DOT...
5. Also buy the window buttons - Ensure it is not sprayed
6. Get one of the Ladipo boys to go with you for the programming (5k insist)
7. After fixing it, pin the brain box to the metallic part of the car ( ladipo boys call it rebit N500), remove the label
8. Install alarm
9. I remove my buttons every night
10. Tokunbos will do
11. Don't contract anyone. If you do it would be expensive.
12. Be mindful where you park your car, going forward.

Get a security device that can do intrusion detection function by sending a text message or sounding a alarm anytime you have external intrusion on your car even a mere touch on your car lock will send you a text message of a possible intrusion.

It is an Avensis. Not common so I am particularly scared that if they are targeting Avensis, they can still come back.

I woke up yesterday morning to th horror of finding out that a thief had access to my car and was able to steal the ECU/ECM and the controls for the power windows.
My car only have an immobilizer.
My question is what are the best measures I can take to safeguard the ECU and car from vandals and theft.

In the spirit of Avensis, I need a w53900 Toyota audio player. The one in my car has a faulty volume knob. Or an equivalent audio player that can fit into a 2004 Avensis.

What is with abusing people using a straight forward light bulb tester. It is more effective to use a light bulb tester in checking for shorts and leakages. A multimeter has its own purpose too. Use what you are familiar with and stop abusing others.

I did for the tyre that got cut.
It didn't leak immediately but I can hear whistling noise. When I got to the vulcanizer. It leaked down immediately. I replaced it with spare and placed tubes inside the the damaged tubeless tyre.

While travelling on sunday my tyre got damaged on Ife to Ibadan expressway. i hit a pothole hard the rim got bent. Thank God for life mercies. on getting to the vulcanizer. He said to place tubes in all my four tires and that it is better than tubeless on rough terrains.
My question to more experienced fellows, please is it advisable to put tubes in the tires.

After scanning from a good friend. The following are the major drawbacks of the car.
1. Suspension is making noise from ball joints
2. Failing Clutch.
3. Sludge in Engine.
4. CEL not connected.
5. ECU failure to communicate.
6. ABS issue.
7. Car is hard starting.
The Car still has a good body,interior and peripherals work fine.
But I would like to know if it is easy to rectify the following faults and the probable cost in Nigeria.
