RomanceRe: Morenikeji In Trouble, she Needs Ur Help by tutuwater(m): 1:30pm On Nov 18, 2011
some one told me the same story with different names yesterday. so probably a lie.

anyway she can go and adopt a baby and give the baby the same name and prove the payment for the properties was from her account and it was intended for the adopted baby.
RomanceRe: Role Of Giving In Relationships. . . by tutuwater(m): 12:53pm On Nov 18, 2011
in the literal sense it is giving

but in a relationship with effective communication i doubt that making a verbal request is necessary although talking{communicating} about ones needs is.
RomanceRe: Role Of Giving In Relationships. . . by tutuwater(m): 12:36pm On Nov 18, 2011
@ op it is not giving when she asks for it first.
and although am not against giving. giving in order to buy someones love or remorse is wrong as well. That u constantly give him/her does not mean she will equally love you back.
so guys and girls give out of love and do not condone girls that keep requesting for material things like it is rite to show love

CultureRe: Question About The Yoruba Language: by tutuwater(m): 10:54pm On Jun 12, 2011
Booshman:
OP here!

Thanks a lot, so far! This is all very helpful! So much so, that I should have just came here first instead of struggling with this old dictionary of mine. What is odd is that I have heard four different Yoruba translations for the word "Lightning". Ina Ara, Ino Ara, Ara, and Etimo. Is this one of those words that has multiple translations? If so, is one translation more commonly used than the rest?

Whoa! So my dictionary is wrong! Because it said "ara" was "skin" as in a human's skin. I'm glad I asked.

Oh, I don't mean guardian in the foreign biblical sense. I just mean "a guardian" in the general sense. Like a protector of a temple or of a person.
ara could denote both skin and thunder

am not good with the intonation,

you could ask BABE to give you the intonation

am sure the two 'ara' are pronounced differently
RomanceRe: Must You Control The One You Love? by tutuwater(m): 6:35am On Jun 12, 2011

About 15years ago!

I went to my village (for the 1st time ever) and a goat fell inside a well ,

A man went in to get the goat, ( How many men could do such today )

Well the man got stuck in the well and the goat came out ( Na God save the man that day )

At the end of the day, the owner of the Goat gave him the female goat as reward ( I still laff each time i remember )
^i have done that before but the well is not deep the well is about 7 well rings deep just to retreive a hen. The hen died but i enjoyed eating it.

@ poster i have done almost everything you listed above even though am a 20something year old guy.

As the first born i do pound yam, hunt for bush meat, climb trees for fruit and still cook.

I do think you could still find girls that can do that just go to the village and you will be thrilled.
RomanceRe: Men And Women: Please Know Your Role In Life by tutuwater(m): 9:13pm On Jun 05, 2011
Why cant you all be open minded and allow each and every female to choose their prefered roles.

And stop claiming the american custom works better.

Actually those insinuating there is no child support laws for divorce are wrong. There is.

But contrary to your belief nigerians are more traditional and wont necessarily do something because it is the inthing. They will rather follow established norms in their culture.

@ LovePeddler chima,@southchi i will like to know the percentage of americans who either was raised by one of the parent, has a step parent at one time or the other in their life and those not raised by any parent compared to those raised by both parent.

If raising and nurturing children is the true purpose of marriage then i beleive tne nigerian society is fulfiling its (marriage) purpose.
RomanceRe: Men And Women: Please Know Your Role In Life by tutuwater(m): 6:23am On Jun 04, 2011
So richvunt the 'Y' chromosome determines who makes the money or not or who cooks or not?
I ll bet with you that without the doctrine of the society that a girl should be a house wife, mother that are main objective is to only get married and have children the world would be a better place.

Fact the days when home-making and childrearing is the only true vocation for women is gone.

And we should give our female folk the oppurtunity of defining the feminine role.
CultureRe: Considering A Yoruba Tattoo: Ideas? by tutuwater(m): 3:04am On Jun 04, 2011
On asking my grandma she said they call it soju(o with a dot under)

the mark is created with the use of pins tied together

the body is marked with the stack of pins until the shape or word required is formed

bleeding do occur from the wounds although minimal

reptiles like lizard or snake are common

names too are common

@ tpia@ it definately is a permanent mark and my conclusion is it is a tattoo

@bayosgirl a tattoo of the parrot called aiyekoto in yoruba could be symbolic for the parrot is beleived to always say the truth.
CultureRe: Considering A Yoruba Tattoo: Ideas? by tutuwater(m): 5:44pm On Jun 03, 2011
Actually there is d name of my grandfather tattoed to my grandmas thighs and i saw it today so am sure that tattoo must be part of the yoruba culture.
Plus i have seen many old women with words permanently written in the inside of thier arms.

I ll like to know more about the structure put i place.
But, from the few experience i have from atlas cove depot. It seems we just legalised pipeline vandalism. Am sure that a good percentage of the 12000 can be easily bribed with gallons of oil.

After the mend bomb attack in atlascove. Soldiers posted to maintain order arrested pipeline vandals including members of the then opatrol team, the navy and casual workers of the depot such as drivers. The soldiers recovered over 1000 kegs of 50 litres filled with petroleum products. The soldiers noticed it is easier to vandalize when you know the movement of the patrol team.

Op just dont loose trust in your own ability to make the right decision coz when the day comes to choose it is down to you to make the right choice.
If she is that fine, know that guys will always hit on her and she will have admirers who can send implicating messages both to her phone or on facebook.
