codedguy1: Alexis Sanchez is the answer not Perisic. I dont know why Man Utd is not heavily linked to the guy the way Man City has been linked. Guys if City should get Alexis and sort their defence, i will concede the EPL to them. Because that attack will wreck epl teams. NB: please where can our friendlies be watched. Are they available on Dstv.? |
Proudlyngwa:How do we watch this? Is it available on Dstv? |
Oasis007:This is why EPL teams may not win UCL in a long time. The unproductive competition is sickening. Dortmund freely sells players to Bayern, Madrid just bought Ceballos from Real Betis. But EPL teams will rather starve English top clubs who can win UCL of their best players . No wonder Mou complained about a difficult transfer market. |
hensben:Lol is it because of Yokozuma or wetin be in name you con carry dictionary. Ok o we don hear you Chelsea won back to back UCL 15 years ago. Sleep in peace. ![]() |
PietroRico:I doubt if Arsenal will sell him to United. If he comes in that will be great for the team though. |
hensben:Story! Am just saying the club wasnt so relevant before you got a sugar daddy. By relevance i mean playing actively in UCL. |
According to SKysport Bakayoko told the club's official website: "I am very happy to be here and to join this great team. I have grown up watching Chelsea. Signing was the natural thing for me because it is a club I loved very much in my childhood". Where was chelsea 15 years ago? I feel like slapping the daylight out of this dude. Chelsea kwa? Its all about the money for most players now. ![]() |
raumdeuter:The hatred is real. Why evils? ![]() |
dubylhover:I am irked at the fact that we keep discussing this De Gea to Madrid issue every year. If the guy is really loyal to the United Project he should openly shut down these stories . A statement like "I am happy at United,i am not going to Madrid" will suffice. And if he really wants to go he should hand in a transfer request. We cant sweep the stories under the rug, there is hardly any smoke without fire. |
DE GEA WANTS UNITED EXIT? Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea wants to join Real Madrid this summer and has told his agent Jorge Mendes to get the deal done, reports Don Balon. The 26-year-old has been linked with Los Blancos for a number of seasons but it had appeared he would be staying at Old Trafford this summer. However, Don Balon claim the Spaniard want to being his spell at United to an end and manager Jose Mourinho is already preparing for life without him. Skysport If this news is true United should not bother pacifying De Gea anymore. Perez should pay £75 million minimum . Some of these spanish guys can be ungrateful. |
raumdeuter:Sorry i meant finalists not semis |
Leyqute:Seriously? ![]() How does buying Mbappe solve city defensive woes? Concerned Fans and Managers of the EPL needs to have a round-table talk with these city guys? After several millions they haven't even tasted UCL finals. I have been complaining about United these past few seasons but Guardiola seems to be extremely clueless in my opinion. |
BREAKING NEWS Manchester United have confirmed Adnan Januzaj has left the club to join Real Sociedad. skysport We wish you the best Adnan. |
sinizia:@the Bolded is savage . Cant stop laughing. Egbon Dayo at this junction its better you keep quiet , stop arguing for arguement sake. Dont let your ego get bruised any further. |
The devil has been whispering in my ears that Luke Shaw will come up with another injury during this preseason tour......Devil i bind you o, holy ghooost fire.. Seriously i wish the guy can be injury free for once, he could be ruling the EPL by now. |
I dont understand what some fans on this thread really want United Bids for Morata: You hear stuffs like how can United buy a bench-warmer in Madrid for £70 million. United Bids for Lukaku: You hear he has terrible first touch,he lacks technical skills at £75 million pounds he is outrageous. Seriously we need to be realistic with our expectations. The days of cherry-picking players from other Epl clubs because of our sole dominance has ended. The prices you see are the realities of today's market. Congrat to Manchester United ,i guess this is the surprise mourhino meant. |
From Multiple Sources Manchester United are closing in on the biggest move of the summer as they prepare to hijack Chelsea's world record £100m move for Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, 24. (BBC) Personally i think £100million is outrageous. Woodward should spend £15million on Chicharito thats 15 goals a season guaranteed. I hope this claim is not true or else woodward will bankrupt this club. Happy birthday to Obainojazz, may your jazz work for united this season. ![]() |
From the look of things , i am not sure Rooney is going away this season and that is not good for this team from my point of view. |
Funlord2:Happy birthday man, may God bless your new age |
GloryIsaac:Just another rumour. Until he is officially announced believe any of these news at your own risk. |
HEFaya:Nothing i no go see for this thread . It may be Juan mata girlfriend on a brief visit, make una take am easy. |

Morning Guys UTD CONSIDERING SHOCK DE ROON MOVE ------Skysport "Manchester United are interested in signing Middlesbrough midfielder Marten de Roon, reports the Daily Express. The report suggests Jose Mourinho is keen on strengthening his midfield options at Old Trafford and De Roon could emerge as a shock target. Middlesbrough are thought to want around £9m for the 26-year-old." Its Another day and another rumor, this one even has a lower rating compared to Fellaini ![]() |
Claroo:You people are wicked sha, wetin concern Baba Fella for this matter naa. The guy don suffer, wether you like it or not he is making first team next season. ![]() |
Oasis007:I agree thats one of the most covered position in United, however are they world class left backs? When are we going to have a left back in the mold of evra? |
SkySports PEREZ: NO UTD TALKS WITH MORATA Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has confirmed that his club has not held talks with Manchester United over the transfer of Alvaro Morata. "I believe we are not negotiating with Manchester United, which does not mean that there are not people around him who are talking, which is normal," Perez told El Primer Palo radio. "I have read that we have reached an agreement for I don't know how many million Euros, but it is not true." Instead of allowing Madrid to troll us why cant we focus on Auba, Lacazette,Sanchez and other strikers in the market. I really hope Perez is not on a revenge mission, if this deal keeps dragging Woodward will enter panic mode soon enough and we should avoid that. |
Three reasons why Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic is exactly what Manchester United need Written by Sam Leveridge Manchester United are nearing a deal with a Chelsea to bring midfielder Nemanja Magic to Old Trafford, according to ESPN. If true, it will see a reunion between the Serbian international and Jose Mourinho after he brought him back to west London having been sold to Benfica. The news comes after Matic was hugely influential as a key first team player for Antonio Conte as Chelsea romped to the Premier League title in 2016/17, shrugging off the challenge of rivals like United in the process. However, the likely arrival of Tiemoue Bakayoko could see Matic lose his place as a regular starter and with just one year left on his current contract, Chelsea may look to cash in while they can. Here are three reasons why he would be a great signing for United… He’s a player Jose Mourinho knows and trusts In his first season at Old Trafford, one of the biggest issues for Jose Mourinho has been identifying which players he can count on. The likes of Luke Shaw, Chris Smalling, Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney have all suffered, but now Mourinho will be keen to have a squad of players he knows well and trusts. Matic made 90 appearances under Mourinho during their time together at Chelsea and became his crucial midfield enforcer. Mourinho displayed trust in Matic then, handing responsibility to his midfielder, and he will want that at Old Trafford too. With few other proven Premier League players available in the same mould as Matic, he is a reliable addition to the United squad. Matic will add a goal threat from deep While Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini, the regular midfield duo in 2016/17, registered six goals and 11 assists in 97 games between them, Matic scored twice and recorded nine assists in just 40 games. Matic is more than capable of releasing a thunderbolt from distance, as Tottenham found out in the FA Cup semi-final. That’s a skill which is sorely lacking in the United midfield, leaving them forced to try to penetrate and break down lesser sides who came to Old Trafford content to play for a draw. This season has also shown the 28-year-old to be a creative force. His vision and passing from deep was crucial to kick start moves from as soon as possession was won and start moves on the counter-attack; something bound to appeal to Mourinho. He’s got experience at the very top of the Premier League With two Premier League winners’ medals from the past three seasons, Nemanja Matic knows exactly what it takes to win the trophy that United fans desperately crave. Whilst that is not something lacking in the stands and amongst the staff at Old Trafford, it is missing in midfield. The likes of Andre Herrera, Marouane Fellaini and Paul Pogba have all joined since the Sir Alex Ferguson era came to an end and with Michael Carrick’s role ever decreasing, the experienced head of Matic will be more than welcome. Whilst Herrera has been impressive this season, he would be allowed more freedom to roam forward with an experienced player like Matic alongside him. With Marouane Fellaini, it’s not an option, partly in terms of experience and partly in terms of quality. |
Diademk07:The rumor is very strong. Well we have to trust the manager on this one, i guess he is opting for trusted hands. |
Diademk07:Naingolan Marquinhos Varane Semedo James Kane Lewandowski Ronaldo Bale Fabinho Matic Belloti Morata Mbappe Perisic Lukaku Verrati Danny Rose Gelson Martin Bernardeschi Jodi alba Andre Gomes You add yours..... The number of players linked to us this transfer window is enough to bankrupt the worldbank. Me i no dey bother again till transfer window closes. ![]() |
kizolo:Until we get back to the top in the EPL/UCL and until we stop spending mega money on average players or stop boasting about how much we have in our war chest we wont stop having these kind of news. Its really sad, even the tabloids are using us to sell papers and generate clicks, there is so much expectation from us. Even those Chelsea fans know where we belong, hence the insecurity i see in them here But i believe my United will rise again, its a matter of time. |
Diademk07:Monaco will be very unwise to let Bernado silva, Mbappe, Bakayoko and Fabinho leave within thesame season |
