Something to encourage the Veterans here,myself and wife got our visa approved via Dropbox. We had two kids in Oakbend Hospital 2015/2018. I was very active on this page around 2014.

Our last Visa expired in 2019. Even though wife got a medical visa,we never bothered applying during the Trump years due to the funny rejection rate for parents of US citizens and the long time wait for appointment.

Submission was done on the 7th of February
Visa was Issued on the 23rd of February

I believe God's grace worked for us . I believe Being truthful and upfront at the previous visa interview also helped.

Getting a 2nd passport for our kids has been one of the best decisions we've made as a couple. In those days many people thought our decision was a waste of money as Nigeria wasnt this rough but here we are.So i say, Goodluck to everyone on this adventure,it will end in praise.

My self and wife got our Visa renewed through Dropbox.

I got approval to submit my application two weeks after appointment booking
Submission was done on the 7th of February
Visa was Issued on the 23rd of February
I picked up on the 28th of February
That's about 3 weeks for both of us.

I used the isolo dhl office,while madam used their Victoria Island office.

Our visas expired in 2019.I and my wife never bothered to apply during the Trump years as the refusal rate was high and there wasn't any Dropbox opportunities.

I think posting polling booths results at this point is useless. Everyone should wait for LGA results. LP thought south west is cleared but they didn't make 25% in ekiti after the LGA results were released.

The State website states that the IW process may take up to two months. It's not good planning to buy ticket before the visa is issued. So Just wait it out and don't irritate them with more calls. I have heard of Canadian embassy in particular returning applicants passports without visa due to incessant calls.

You will get the answer you seek on Sunday. Not all Nigerians vote along religious line.

It shouldn't pose a problem, 6 weeks is a good estimate not every one have the patience to calculate exact timeliness. They are elderly and that's a plus. Worst case scenario they will call them for follow up interview to clarify. If they had stayed beyond 6 months that can be an issue.

It will be stamped for 2 years. You can use a valid visa inside an expired passport, provided that you have applied for a valid passport when you want to travel. You will be required to present the expired and valid passport at the point of entry.

Chief the turnout is some of these states are unrealistic and too optimistic , Ekiti can't produce 1million votes, same for Kogi. The winning percentages are close to reality though.

Expect the margin to be close in Osun and many southwest states. Our Yoruba brothers are too smart and knowledgeable for their own good. They can't give anyone bloc votes.

what you state on the invitation letter doesn't really matter, in most cases the Visa officers don't read them.

The visa officer may need answers to these issues.
1. There are caregivers in the USA why can't you employ one of them instead of bringing your sister over. If its an elderly like your mum such makes more sense to them.
2. How do you prove that your sister doesn't have immigration intention ? Someone who is busy in Nigeria won't go to the USA for such.
3. Does your sister have enough travelling history.

These are some of the questions your sister needs to answer before her interview. Best of luck to her.

Ondo will vote for APC just like Ekiti, there is no confusion in Ondo this time around. The local people I interacted with are praying for Tinubus victory. They believe BAT will make life easier for them.

The major decider of this election will be how PDP performs in South South and North West. Those are the tipping point regions. If Obi takes SS and Tinubu matches Atiku in NW then the election is over in favor of Tinubu.

A fair analysis close to the reality on ground. You should expect heavy insults from our brothers who think Nigerian elections are only won online. Most of them dont even have a PVC. My prediction is that its either Tinubu beats PDP in a landslide or PDP wins the election with a small margin. LP and NNPP are not going to come close even though they may have the better candidates out of the 4 parties. (Better is also relative until people get to aso rock you never know what they will do).

If this is true then Atiku is not coming across as a great leader and the bridge builder that he claims. He has autocratic tendencies which may be worst than Buhari. How can he approach the general election with so much controversy trailing him.
