I am sure Lukaku will bang in a minimum of 20 goals but the success of this team will depend on how many goals the likes of Mata,Mikhi,Rashford , Martial and Pogba can contribute. If those 5 players can bring in 8-10 goals each then the EPL crown is ours.

Surely with the pace in front this team has improved above last season. I still dont understand Mourhino obsession with Fella though,its one interesting relationship.

Lets review our clubs position after the next 5 games which is the easiest run among EPL top teams. 18 points in the bag will do us lots of good.

Till then i remain cautiously optimistic.

Manchester United sign Nemanja Matic from Chelsea on a three-year contract.

With the Amount of funds some EPL teams are spending in this window , if they dont end up winning the UCL then i will declare their managers as fraudsters. Infact, I will specially petition EFCC to go after PEP after spending £300 million on defence alone with more signings to come. I heard Conte is being offered additional £150 million to spend.

I cant wait for the season to start to gauge how it will all pan out,some managers may not finish the season before getting sacked (My Prediction).

Everyone can blame Pogba and Ibra all as much as they want but i am of the firm belief that the likes of inconsistent martial landed the team at the 6th spot by season ending by not Contributing their quota to goals and assists.

With Martial out, we will be short of a potential game changer from the bench cos with Rashford and Mkhitaryan flanking Lukaku, it leaves us short of attacking options on the bench bar Mata and Lingard who I don't really rate. They can have Lingard and Darmian plus 65m pounds.

How many games did martial change last season? And when will his potentials become reality? I seriously pray Martial gets back his form this season but if i were Mourhino i wont bank my career on him. In my opinion he should be loaned out to prove himself for now.

Valencia should be locked in the guard room for a week for that tackle on the poor boy.

Martial and Rashford were no where to be found.

Fellaini jazzman is very strong. Mou gave him the CF,AM,SS position in one game. He had one clear header and wasted it. The guy played nonsense all through.

Perreira should not be sent on loan again. For me he is the revelation of this match.

Mitchel made some beautiful run, he should be given more game time.

Baily was as solid as the Rock of Gibraltar. His partnership with Lindelof will be lit.

Darmian and all the other players were average.

Major Takeaway: Lukaku had 1 clear chance and he finished it clinically. This should sedate those chelsea boys for the next one week. Someone should help put that clip on replay for them.

McTominay perfomed well. Stringing some good passes and tracking back. Man of the match so far is between TFM and Mikhi.

His first touches at the begginning were awful o.

TFM really impressed i think he can give valencia a good run this season. His wing was well defended and he contributed well to the RW attack.

Jones couldnt defend the first goal he was easily thrown off the ball.

Blind was match rusty,those small boys were using his wing like kilode.

Lindelof made some clearance , solid performance and better composure.

Mikhi played well,made good runs. He could be found everywhere (AM)L,C,R,FW. He scored a nice goal assisted by Lingard and Lukaku.

Lukaku scored a beautiful goal but his hold up play and general contribution to the team is below par. He improved as the game went on.

A team of Champions does not need 11 world class players in its starting 11. All u need is like 3 class players and 8 harworkers.
JS Park, Oshea, Ferdinand, Rafael, Fletcher, "Carrick", Nani, Roy Keane etc. None of these guys were world class level.

Lana, no talk this kain ting again i beg you. Carrick, Fletcher, Ferdinand, Keane,Rafael were the best in the premier league at their peak. Can you even compare Nani to the inconsistent lingard?

Nawaoo.. How many world class have we bought in recent seasons? What was the turn out? How many world class players will Man Utd go for and they'll sell cheap to us? This same issue is what we discuss everyday. Madrid was holding out for outrageous sums for a bench warmer. Sometimes we the fans just want some glossy signings like we are in some football manager game where we cab buy Messi, Ronaldo and Ibrahimovic in our team.

I respect your arguement and i dont think clubs who have superstars will sell them to us easily. But my point is we have been spending and are still spending outrageous amounts on above average players. Instead of going that route without achieving anything why dont we allow our young lads to grow?. For example i pray Lukaku comes good, but spending £75 mil plus £15 mil in add-ons is wasteful. I will support him as every true fan should do but common..... these are outrageous sums same for Pogba's transfer.

I insist many of our players are average at best,whether they will improve or not is left for us to see this season. The scouting department need to up their game as well. There are lots of good deals out there things shouldn't be that difficult.

Apart from the middle the squad is currently bloated. Too many centre backs and too many attacking players. There has to be a little bit of a trim before anymore additions. Even the middle has Tuanzebe/TFM fighting for the defensive midfield spot so on the whole the squad is bloated unless Jose sends them on loan.

Lets be honest with ourselves the team is overbloated with mostly average players. How many world class players can we boast of apart from Pogba,Herrera, Bailly and De gea . In my View,Most of the other players are supposed to feature on the bench. Meanwhile,Rashford,Martial and Lingard will need couple of years to mature.

We have a long way to go and Mou is not helping matters with some of the signings linked to us. For example why should we buy Eric Dier for £60m? Or How is Perisic( £48m )our best option for LW at 28?. I hope that the funds spent are not wasted at the end of the season.
