Hello all, I am posting this on behalf of my colleague. She applied for PR through CEC 4 months ago. Two days ago IRCC requested that she resends her family history. She is scared that they specifically asked for that and opened up to me about her fear. 1.Her mom and her dad are separated so she never included her dad in her application; the family history section 2. Her older sister is married and has a diff surname so she's worried that maybe they are wondering why her surname is diff 3. She included someone who her mom adopted(not on paper but has lived with them since they were kids) as her half sister on her application but she has another surname as well (unmarried).... So she is worried about how to address all of these specifically No. 3 since there is no paper evidence of the adoption. She is considering not adding her to the new documentation but worried IRCC might ask why she included her in the first place. What do you guys suggest please, should she remove her or leave it and provide some sort of explanation? Thank you |

Oh I understand. She got invited under the FSW category, but healthcare draw. So are you saying she cant use her pay stubs here only as POF cos its not CEC? Thank you GraciousWords: |

Hi all, asking this question on behalf of my friend. She is a registered nurse in Canada and got ITA for the last healthcare category. She has a job here and she is wondering if she can just use her pay stubs, offer letter as POF instead of the minimum pof required. Thank you |

Hi guys So I just got an ADR pertaining to my application. I’m a bit confused tho. I have no clue what the second request is and the first one says to sign the schedule A in an original signature. Does that mean I have to print out the form to sign it then scan it back ? Thank you in anticipation of your responses 1 Like

Hi all, thanks for all you do. I’m asking this question on behalf of a friend’s brother. He wants to start his PR process and I told him he only needs to evaluate his highest degree which is his masters (from the UK)…..his bsc is from Nigeria. Just wanted to confirm I’m giving the right info? |

Hi again, I’m back with another question lol. So I’m on work permit in Canada with a TRV that expires in 2025. However I had to travel to Nigeria for an emergency and I’m still going to be here till late April or early May. With the way PR applications are fast these days, if mine is approved before I leave for Canada, someone said I’ll need a PRTD to enter Canada again as my TRV will be useless and I need to apply for the PRTD. Note: I applied for PR outside Canada(2 weeks after I travelled to Nigeria to be specific). Please does anyone know anything about this? |

Lol no it’s not misrepresentation. My job was a position created for covid so the job title wasn’t there but I was able to fit it into something similar and I got a legit letter from my employer. I was just trying to think of a worse case scenario that’s all. Thank you tho leopardinatree: |

Hello everyone. I have submitted my application and awaiting a response from IRCc. However I have some concerns about my Canadian work experience so I was wondering what happens if the 35 points I claimed for it was deducted by the VO, will I still be eligible as my total score is still above the draw cut off that day. I’ve attached pictures to provide more clarity. 489 was the cut off 1 Share

I’m trying to qualify for CEC. Based on what I read, Noc C doesn’t qualify for CEC which is customer service. That’s why I’m trying to see if it fits into administrative roles Zeewirld: |

Also she doesn’t want to evaluate it since she has enough points for both. So it is possible to just submit his secondary school cert without it being evaluated ? Tvickie: |

ednut1: Okay thanks! She already has enough points for both of them. She just wants to know if she has to evaluate the waec too. He didn’t finish BSC that’s why he can’t claim that |

Hi all, thanks for all you do here. I have decided to try out an application with the US for new York and Texas. I’ve been reading all info all day and I’m sort of confused with the cgfns. I got to a stage that asked for ‘primary and secondary school’ information. I want to be sure that’s correct and what I am required to fill. Also, does that mean I’ll be required to send my common entrance cert and waec to cfgns alongside the other documents for evaluation? Want to be sure before I input anything. Thank you again |

I’m not a pro, but my cousin was in a similar situation and all he did was balance the money and submit the gift deed certificate again and put it in fixed deposit for 3 months, then sent both documents to IRCC and it worked for us sha Godtemi: 1 Like |

Hello all, I have come again with my many questions ooooo lol. So my brother’s letter just arrived today and we saw ‘Province of destination as Saskatchewan’ meanwhile we filled all provinces during application. It’s FSW too. We’re confused because the plan is for him to come stay with me in Ontario. Does this mean he has to come into Canada through SK and has to stay there? Thanks for all you do 2 Likes

Hello everyone, my brother’s PR has been approved and we’re abit confused about the POF. We heard he can be requested to show the POF at the entry point. My question is do we leave the money inside the Nigerian bank account and print along a bank statement showing the money is still there? Or we do cash or what are the alternatives? Someone said he can send the money to me (since I’m in Canada) and we’ll just need to prove we’re siblings but I dunno if that’s a thing. Thank you 2 Likes |
