Sighs…. I really don’t wanna do the LPN. Thank you tho vickyehi: They aren't exaggerating too much. Another thing people do is try to get registered as an LPN along side the RN application. But in all of these process, you need to be within Canada to complete the process. |

Hi everyone. Thank you for your contributions to this thread. I am about to start my nnas evaluation process and I’m really discouraged from stories I heard from people . Someone said every Nigerian nurse will be given a non comparable advisory report regardless or BSN or masters (in Canada oo)….and will be asked to do a bridging course (I need a break from school!!)…. Is it true or my friend is just exaggerating? Thank you |

Thank you. Really helpful vickyehi: You do not need to waste time evaluating your undergrad. If you have worked in naija before leaving for Canada and can prove it with references, then you also do not need to wait for 1year after getting your pgwp. You can apply immediately using your naija experience and your Canadian masters degree. Just ensure you calculate your crs score accurately and you should be fine. |

Thanks, but I do not want to wait for that long. I used the tool and I got over 475 even if I don't max my IELTS (except I calculated wrongly sha). So by that I guess I do not necessarily have to wait for a year osato45: get your postgraduate work permit after your masters, study the provinces that would favour in getting provincial nomination. Register and work for a year minimum and start your express entry waka or check for the requirements for Canada experience class CEC to see if you meet them for your province |

Thank you for the response. Does this mean I do not have to do any evaluation at all? since it is my highest degree ? All4good: 1. You certainly don't need to evaluate a Canadian certificate. 2. WES I believe is preferred 3. You may still need to look into getting a nomination from the province to get you out of the express entry pool. You can search for jobs and work in interview to achieve this since you are within Canada at the moment. |

Hello everyone,
I have questions regarding my express entry application which I am about to start and I am a bit confused. I tried to read up on some posts and I got some info but I would like some clarifications. So a lil info about me, I have my BSN, RN, RM and RPHN from Nigeria I am currently in my final semester of my Master of Nursing program in Canada and I plan to use the degree to get higher points. So, 1. I read that evaluation of the highest degree is what should be done, therefore if I am using my MN degree (a Canadian degree), I do not need to get it evaluated right? 2. If I do need to get my bsn, rn and rm evaluated, which agency is more advisable? IQAS OR WES OR? 3. What other specifics do I need to know/
Thank you for all the work you do. |

Yeah, the rate is not the problem. I get you thanks MissMa01: What about going for a long date say 6months or 1year? Did you get a reasonable rate Atleast? That’s a different matter. But yeah, no need to inform IRCC just leave the money in the account. |

Now it has expired and the application is still on eligibilty stage. I refixed the pof (gift deed from my dad) for an extra 3 months again. Should I notify cic? or just leave the money in the account like that? |

You’re right. When I went for my medicals I had a long chat with the doctor. They’ll only ask you if you have any existing health condition. Except they see reasons that might make them think otherwise the hepatitis test won’t be carried out. Opana1: I stand to be corrected. Hepatitis is not included in the list of test conducted for the purpose of a study permit. I can remember vividly tests like HIV and syphilis as the one carried out. In rare cases when they notice a high blood pressure you can be asked to conduct a test on your liver (LFT) that is only when the issue might come up. I know someone who is in Canada as I speak to you who has hepatitis and still passed the test. Inasmuch as am not a guru I think hepatitis is not included. Muster up the courage and go for your test. |

Even if you’re going to Germany, I don’t think it hurts to just wait and get your approval since you’ve gotten a medical request Ibitowaoa: Thank you, I hope I won’t get an automatic refusal for withdrawing? Also, my background check is still under review. So no decision as been made except for the medical request. I humbly await your response on this. Thanks |

I think you did not understand the question tho. she is trying to clarify if she can submit to vfs on the 29th day before the expiration of the 30 days bearing in mind that the letter states that it must be submitted to the canadian embassy within 30 days. makano: Funny Question.. Do u wanna submit to the Canadian embassy urself? Of course its crystal clear that you should submit to VFS and VFS will take it up form there.. No need of giving ursef unnecessary headache.. Or when submitting ur paper application, did u go submit it direct to their Anifowoshe, London or Nairobi office? Please lets be guided, submit to VFS, and they will submit to the embassy as we all know.. Peace |
