This incident happened in the bank today based on eye witness. I was in the bank today when i heard a sudden noise(not really shouting sha) coming from a man working in the bank. He was like, in his words "please do not ever send me this again!" bla bla bla. On enquiry about what happened, i was told that a man who happens to be a customer in the bank, sent him a short note on a piece of paper reading "i love your suit, and i love how you bounce in them" thats all! I was like seriously?? Is it supposed to mean anything? In my view, it was just a complement that needed a thank you. Anyways, the man felt embarassed because some people felt he shouldn't have written it on a paper but I really don't find anything wrong with it. So nairalanders, let's hear your opinion Lalasticlala whats your take? |

I really don't understand why some people are hell bent on creating religious differences amongst the yorubas. Recently, you hear them more in the political section segregating the yorubas, showing the Muslim counterparts in a bad light but unfortunately for them, the yorubas are too learned for that. This piece of write up is coming from a yoruba guy who has both muslims and Christians in his family. And to tell you the truth, we are yorubas first before any white man religion. A thread was on front page today about a fight in osun state between the yorubas and the hausas. And to my amazement, some people are already jubilating that this and that.. For real?? You really think yorubas are so foolish to the extent of picking up arms against his brother because of religion? Smh! When it comes to standing up for each other in battle, religion is not and would never be an option! Am not appealing for them to stop,, but just know that what you think would divide us can only make us stronger. |
