How long did it take CIC Ghana to do the stamping? Mine is taking 10 working days already.

10 working days in not too much to have your passport returned to you after PPR...except they have informed you that your visa is ready. Mind you, passport request does not mean your visa has been issued...you better cool down......mine took 1 month after PPR and that seems to be very fast. Anyway, I am FSW 2014 (Oct applicant), and I guess you probably are EE applicant. Wish you best of luck. But please cool down and keep praying because you aren't through yet with the process!!

I landed Dec 30th 2015...and I pray all FSW 2014 awaiting response from Ghana will receive good news soon. I encourage you all to press on 'cos the 'benefits' quite outway the 'price'.

Hi twaj,

Can you help us to show where you get the info saying that CIC had specified as from Mar 2016, all PR holder can apply for temporary permit to leave before receiving PR card?

Is it from here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/travel-document/ ?? Permanent resident travel document?

I think the temporary permit to leave is needed when you want to enter Canada again but still you havent received the PR card.

Thanks!

Well, I saw it as a flashing news sometime ago...but not sure which page again. However, 'short landing' is a known fact to CIC, and I am not sure they bother how you get your PR card (after its being sent to your Canada address). What CIC currently emphasize is that for you to reenter Canada you must have your PR card. But why would you want to stay away for so long. The Canadian Immig rules changes anyhow, so I advice you to be careful. I would even prefer that you focus on the completion of the entire process. Having medical request is like almost 50% sure but my brother there is still a long way to go with a lot of prayers for successful completion of the process. I think you should focus on this first...then when you have your PR, then check the rule that is in operation at that time for PR card. I wish you all the best. I am landing before the year runs out and may check more info for you...but pls direct your energy for now on the successful completion of the process.

1.) Well....I'm yet to see anyone who had yellow flag while entering Canada again after leaving initially although, they must not know that you left the country and weren't around as at the time they'll mail your card to the address provided.

2.) You use your Naija passport when leaving Canada, I'm yet to see anyone who was asked for PR Card while leaving Canada.

Pls note that CIC has specified that as from March 2016, all PR holder leaving or entering Canada must show their PR card. If you need to leave before your PR card is ready you can apply for a temporary permit to leave.

Good day all,

Are there any Accra VO NOC 2281 FSW 2014 applicants in the house?
Please share your timeline. Am just curious to know how long it takes before receiving RPRF/PPR letters after medicals have been received.

See my timeline below..................
Please share your timeline

Kind regards

1. Application received-October 20, 2014.
2. Processing started- January 13, 2015.
3. Application moved to Accra VO-January 20, 2015
4. Medical request- August 19, 2015
5. Medicals done-September 17, 2015
6. Medical results received. October 02, 2015
7. RPRF letter---------waiting waiting waiting
8. PPR letter----------waiting waiting waiting

I could understand your feelings at this time..... I've been through it and I know what it means to 'wait'. However, I think you should relax and be hopeful. Since your ECAS has shown ''Medical results received ' then you are almost there! Your PPR will likely come with the request for you to pay the RPRF. I am a bit surprised though that it took you almost 1 month to complete your medicals. We must all learnt that the earlier you respond to request from CIC the better...nevertheless I encourage you to keep trusting God...for He is able to perfect what He has started in your life. I am also Oct applicant (24th) but I got my passport back on Sept 30th. Glory to God! Bless you.

Morning people, kindly help a friend out. She got her MR and in addition she was asked to forward a police report, 4 passport photograph and statement of account. She forwarded everything but forgot to include the passport photograph. The 30 days period elapsed on 25th sept. What can she do pls

Simple! Let her speedily forward the passport photograph to AVO with additional note that she forgot to include it in the first package. She does not need to wait any longer. AVO will definitely still request for the passport photograph anyway...but let be proactive by sending it immediately. Remember to include your application number and UCI number and probably the email sent by AVO requesting for those document.

Seniors please help him out . Unfortunately, its being long damkollins, solominwis commented.
And this forum appears to be for express entry candidates nowadays asking same question repeatedly.

Just follow the instructions as requested. If your brother owns the company, then getting the request 1 and 2 for you should not be a problem. You don't have to take the picture of yourself in the office...I guess that was not requested. But endeavor to be truthful as much as possible. Wishing you the best.

Hi People,

Does Accra VO accept online payment of RPRF for FSW 2014? Saw a post that AVO doesn't accept online payment, only bank drafts or Certified cheques in Ghanian ,US or Canadian currencies https://www.nairaland.com/1279130/canadian-federal-skilled-worker-program-timelines/98

I received my PPR mail today and I'm thinking of paying online because banks no longer accept cash deposit of foreign currency and I won't be able to raise the draft

You can pay online......I paid mine online, printed the receipt and included it in the passport package to accra. If you have a GTB naira master card you can use it for the payment. Go to CIC site and check for 'PAY YOUR FEES' portal... Congrats!!

I've heard and I apologise. In that case I'm signing of this forum and won't be responding to any queries again.

Jesus the Way and co, I would advice that you guys should not deceive yourself on the necessity of ECA in getting through the Canadian immigration as a skilled worker either through the federal stream or PNP. Remember that even if you have provincial nomination, the final approval of your visa still lies with the VO/CIC, and at that stage you can not escape presenting your ECA.....be warned!!!. It is a standard requirement whether you are coming through provincial nomination or any other type of nomination.

Zandora...take it easy! There is no need to sign off.

Just to announce to the house.....I got my passport pickup mail yesterday...see you guys soon in Canada.

My timeline
App received date - Oct 24th 2014
Per - Jan 22 2015
MR - July 24 2015
PPR - August 24 2015
Passport pickup mail - Sept 23 2015

Wishing the rest of us God's favour!!!!!

@twaj, you can pay with your Naira Mastercard; I did the same. Sorry for the delayed response.

Meanwhile, please has anybody who evaluated only an MSc, instead of both BSc and MSc, gotten an MR?

Thanks....now another question: can I use the GTbank naira master card to pay for RPRF...urgent response from anyone who recently paid the RPRF will be highly appreciated.

Good morning people.
I just paid my WES evaluation service charge; I have been given a reference number but, my bank account is yet to be debited.

Does WES delay to debit or is my Naira Mastercard not an acceptable vehicle to effect this payment?

HELLO HOUSE.

IF THEY SAY THEY NEED UPDATED BACKGROUND DECLARATION WITH ORIGINAL SIGNATURE DOES IT MEAN I SHOULD SIGN IN THAT SECTION WE WERE ORIGINALLY NOT ASKED TO SIGN BEFORE THAT WE WILL BE ASKED TO SIGN BEFORE A REPRESENTATIVE. IS GHANA OFFICE THE REPRESENTATIVE?

House, can someone with experience answer this question....this young man is being asked by AVO to submit UPDATED BACKGROUND DECLARATION ( I think this is schedule A or ?) as additional document before final decision is made on his application. He is FSWP 2014 applicant.

Hi twaj i'm fsw 2014. please your help is needed urgently

For FSW 2014 applicant, AVO will usually send a mail to you to request that you go for medical examination. The mail will contain an attachment (the medical report form) which you are expected to take to any of the 7 designated panel of physician (depending on where you live)...did you receive any medical request mail from AVO?...you could also call me on 08025887714.

Guys I received my MR this afternoon.
Application date Nov 7th

Congrats Tola..I also received my MR yesterday. However can you or any of the gurus provide answers to the following questions;

1. Which of the designated hospital for Medicals is best...in terms of getting early appointment date and promptness of uploading medical results to Accra visa office?
2. What time is best to pay the RPRF fee?...and must the embassy request before payment is done. I noticed that some people documented on the Accra visa office timeline for FSWP 2014 that they got request for RPRF same day they got their MR...does anyone has something to say about this 'cos I only got the MR Forms only. What is the pattern of request/ payment of RPRF for Accra visa office?
3. Explain in details the best way to pay the RFPF fee.

Thank you all for responding!!!
