Today, i want to talk to you about the Federal Owner Operator immigration pathway. This pathway is very much different from the usual Canadian provincial business immigration program that you may have heard about. The owner operator business program is for small scale business people who want to move to Canada by buying a business. Not just buying a business but also being involved in the daily running of that business eg you buy a bakery and you are the head baker of the bakery. It has a lot of benefits for business people with much less available cash than the provincial business immigration program. The goverment of Canada has not actually defined or outlined any minimum amount of money that must be invested in order to be eligible for this program but most immigration consultants advise that at least $100,000cad give the entrepreneur a good chance of approval. If you have at least $120,000cad, you can start the process immediately. And the whole process can take less than 6months to achieve. It involves just a few simple steps: 1. Buy a business 2. Get a business plan to show how your business can be profitable enough ro employ you and other canadians or permanent residents 3. Apply for an LMIA 4. When you recieve a positive LMIA, you apply immediately for a work permit 5. As soon as your work permit is approved..you become a temporary resident 6. 1 year after..you apply for permanent residence under the express entry category for people with job offer in Canada What do you need to have to be eligible dor this pathway 1. Have at least $100,000cad to invest 2. Have at least 1 year business ownership or management experience 3. Not be inadmissible to Canada Please keep on reading on my blog https://canadaboss..com/2020/09/canada-owner-operator-business.html?m=1 |

Read this post only if you are ready to leave your comfort zone. Skills acquisition is very important, it can never be over emphasized. The first thing I learnt how to make was my own multipurpose liquid soap, then i began to make shower gels, bar soap for bathing and laundry, lotions and creams etc, that was more than 5years ago. When i started these items, i no longer spend money on buying them from the store, i customise them anyhow i like...eg the scents, the colour, their active ingredients eg to prevent rashes, pimples, lighten the skin etc. So in essence, i do not spend money on buying many of these items. The store bought counterpart of these items cost most times x3 of what i spend in making them myself...so i save a lot of money making them myself for my family. I have also made a business of some of them eg The multipurpose liquid soap, lightening shower gels and Laundry soap and detergent. Its a great feeling and very satisfying to have products that actually work and hear positive feedback from customers. The funny thing is that a lot of them are soooo easy to make that you can literally make them with the normal buckets, pots, pans, spoons found in your kitchen. So its a low cost start up thing. There are so many such products that you can learn to make: For Skincare 1. Vaseline 2. Shower gel/body wash 3. Liquid hand sanitiser 4. Gel hand sanitiser 5. Liquid black soap 6. Bathing soap 7. Laundry soap 8. Simple Body lotion and cream 9. Lip gloss 10. Matte Lipgloss 11. After shave 12. Roll on deodorant 13. Lightening facial serum 14. Non greasy body butter 15. Heat balm 16. Herbal oils 17. Rose Water 18. Perfumes For home care: 1. Laundry detergent powder 2. Multipurpose liquid soap 3. Bleach 4. Dettol 5. Izal 6. Spray starch 7. Toilet cleaner 8. Scouring powder 9. Liquid Room Freshener 10. Menthol liquid Air Freshener 11. Emulsion (water based) Paint 12. Gloss (oil based) Paint 13. Scented candles For hair care 1. Shampoo 2. Hair Cream 3. Hair conditioner 4. Hair gel 5. Hair setting lotion 6. Anti dandruff Hair cream Read more http://berylzach..com |

Vikynas:You already heard that it works. So y wouldnt i want to know why its mostly malaria treatments that works for this virus? After all it is a flu virus and malaria is caused by protozoans and not viruses |
Artemisia (the madagascar herb) is what is used in producing Artemisinin which is used in producing current malaria treatment drugs. Chloroquine is also used in treating malaria...what i will like to know or what i will like scientists to explain is why this virus can be treated with mostly malaria treatment drugs. |
illicit:My thoughts exactly. |
OP...You are a damn good writer, you paint a vivid picture with words. The way you successfully put thoughts and feelings down in this write up... |

So why do they keep running? |
It is well |
How accurate is it |
I dont have a problem with IMF and World bank forgiving the Nation's huge debts but is the Nation extending a hand of forgiveness and help to Nigerian businesses as well: exporters, importers, small and micro enterprises eg that have and will continue to be disrupted by this new normal in the world, to help ensure that businesses and by extension the economy is stimulated, so that this begging for debts to be cancelled does not become a way of life moving forward. Can they even truely account for how all the donations that we have been hearing have been or are being used. |
Op you are very correct. Thanks for the observation. I bought 2 masks yesteday from a supermarket in abuja (we were on d way to d market to buy foodstuffs). These days we dont go anywhere without hand sanitisers...the spray on type, not the jell type. Its made from 70% alcohol and 20% water, then hydrogen peroxide and glycerine. So on buying these masks, i had to spray them with sanitiser like i recovered them from a covid 19 patient. It was either that or go back home and wash and dry them. So we waited a few few minutes for d strong alcohol smell of d sanitiser to difuse before putting them on. |
dayjeee:What WES evaluates are certificates that you obtained as part of a traditional for credit (eg 12, 30, 60, 120 credit unit) study These courses at john's academy, london's city & guild, reeds etc are all cpd (continous professional development) courses that help you build or enhance work place skills. Online for credit studies are not as cheap as cpd courses. Be prepared to spend thousands of dollars or pounds sterling. The most popular ones: The Open University (UK) Athabasca university (Canada) Walden University (USA) It might be possible to get 1year certificates from these online schools that will be evaluated by WES. |

If its a caregiving course, yes you can use it to show ability to do the job. City and guilds is a CPD course provider. |
Beedollas:You might find surfing through the course list a little much especially if you dont know what courses to look for. I made a small list of relevant courses here: https://caregiverimmigration..com/2020/04/how-to-get-caregiver-job-in-canada.html |
babakb:A little correction. The "qualifying experience" means experience that you obtained inside Canada. So if you have worked 2years full time in caregiving inside canada, instead of applying for work permit, you are to apply straight to permanent residence and if they verify and find this to be true, you will be granted permanent residence. If you have less than 2 years qualifying work experience ie you worked in Canada less than 2 years, you apply for extension or adjustment of your workpermit (so that you can complete the required 2years) and permanent residence..but your permanent residence will only be granted after you have completed the required 2years. If you dont have any qualifying work experience..meaning you have never worked in Canada as a caregiver before or probably never worked as a caregiver anywhere else before, you will apply for both work permit and permane nt residence at the same time too, but must complete the required 2 years before you are granted the permanent residence. |
gees101:Yes, you can take them online here in Nigeria |
eyinola:Ok. We already talked. ![]() |
Afribiz:Hi, I'm sorry i dont live in lagos so i cant help you on that one. Also i dont know what your plans are, are you looking for in person training or you will be interested in online courses. If you are interested in online courses look here https://caregiverimmigration..com/2020/04/how-to-get-caregiver-job-in-canada.html?m=1 There are some UK cpd certified caregiver courses there. |
