Hello house, please can someone help out
My 6 months tourist visa expired because of COVID-19 couldn’t use it , so I’m reapplying again this month to travel for December
In filling the section for how many days I would be spending in the Uk , do I need to add the additional 14 days quarantine to the 8days I was meant to spend?
Please are you applying in Lagos?

LaaJiblik:
You will still be required to show proof of funds for 9 months.
Besides, what does reduced expenses imply? Lesser Total rent to pay per annum? If so, yes you are right.
Hello LaaJiblik

You helped me out with my question about my short term study visa last year and I was hoping you could help me out again.

You mentioned that you applied for a short term study visa in 2015 and 2016 for a 4 month course if I recall correctly. I was wondering how long your first course was for and how much time elapsed between your first visa and second visa.

I’m looking to apply for another short term study visa. I applied for the previous one in July 2019 and it ran from Aug 2019 to Feb 2020. I want to apply again at the end of Sept for a 3 month course but I’m worried that the time between my previous course and this new course is too close.

Please what do you suggest? Thank you.

I open Zenith bank account and apply for naira MasterCard and it cost me just 1,000 naira only...and i collected it same day after applying for the card.

Honestly, Zenith bank is an awesome bank to banks in 9ja.

That’s all @ss2020

Many thanks to u all who answered me here too
Did you use Paga to pay as an option? Also please are you applying in Lagos?

ss2020:
Have u tried our normal local ATM cards? That's what I used to make payment during my application. Normal Zenith bank ATM card.
Please when did you make this payment? Was it anytime recently?

Please does anyone use their Nigerian naira card to pay their UK visa fees? I’m about to pay online but I’m worried it won’t work or the money will hang. Also will it make sense to include a copy of my US visa as supporting documents? I’ve not used it before so I didn’t select US as a place I’ve been to.

Please is there anyone applying for a UK visa and has their biometrics appointment at VI and is yet to attend?
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by twojul: 3:41pm On Aug 22, 2020
Brightingsus:
Well, the answer is No. The Biometrics portal is a third party commercial site which gov.uk directs you to once you have submitted your online visa application. You cannot access the portal until the visa application is submitted. The visa application gives you a unique GWF ref no with which you open an account with TLS - the Biometrics portal.

On the flip side, if you know someone with an active UK visa application who has booked appointment for Biometrics but yet to attend, they could log in and tell you what dates they could see owing that both of you are using the same centre. This is just hardwork to be honest. Besides, even if you are able to get a Biometrics day in good time, no guarantee exists as to when your application would be decided. Best bet is do the US visit first before UK application.
Thank you! I’ll just ask here if anyone hasn’t done their biometrics and I happy to check dates for me. Hopefully someone comes through.

Hello everyone. Please is there a way to know the available dates for biometrics appointment for UK visas before submitting your application? I’ve got an unused US visa that expires at the end of next month and I want to travel to the US next month for 2 weeks before the visa expires but I’m worried that when I submit my UK application online the biometrics dates will be too far like maybe 2 weeks ahead. Then before I add the time they’ll hold my passport my US visa will have expired. So please how can I see the available biometrics dates before clicking submit. Thank you.

LaaJiblik:
If your proposed ‘short study’ is less than 6 months, it’s fine.
I got exactly such a visa in 2015 when I applied to attend a course.
I got exactly the same in 2016 to attend a 4-month training.
So...I think you are good to go.
Thank you! I was really worried. Yes my course is less than 6 months.

I applied for a short term study visa but when i got my passport back, the visa type read C-Visit. I assume it should say student. I've called UKVI and sent emails but the best response i've gotten is that they'll reply in 15 days which isn't good for me as my program starts in a week. Do i cancel my trip and my program and wait for them to verify if its the right one or not or do i carry on with my travel plans and present all application form showing the class i applied for when i arrive the uk?
