In trading you really need maximum concentration and discipline, today i blowed my account of $534 trading the news, I went opposite direction with 9 positions, I went mad after that, while taking my bath I realized the mistake i made on USDJPY. I would have made $1200 from that market, I just learnt trading the news (cpi) two weeks ago. I felt like giving up, this life everything you worked for can be lost under few minutes. All my analysis, all the fuel i burn, skipping meal sometimes all gone because of just a silly mistake. I have $100 left. I’m just crazy right now after converting my lost to naira, I can’t say this to someone i know physically, just have to pour it out here.

Sorry about that. Avoid news trading if you don't have a hang of it. We have people who do. Learn from them if you are so keen on trading news.

As for news trading, it doesn't affect me much because I do swing trading...so, any news that comes will either push it up to my TP...or not even reach my SL. So, it is more like a normal day to me.


Also, people should learn to take quality trades rather than quantity, you will come out better for it in profits after a month.

Not trending....this has been given before June and this drop...just that the drop is expected to come by September...but it came earlier.

Nothing is set in stone...we may go upwards, but from the looks, I believe the arc must be complete...

I wish for a pump so we can get out and make money and be at peace...not this back and forth....

I once had a funded account with them. Did my first withdrawal but na slippage dem use wound me. I lost the account, bought another account after a while just incase that one na mistake. They slipped me to oblivion.
Just by looking at their site you will see the price of CTRADER and MT5 varies because they can't manipulate price on CTRADER.

I already trade on a Personal account. However, you know for props it's a totally different ball game because of the rules.
If it's successful, I will use it on prop firm most probably. However, I will do that will only prop firms that offer Ctrader (Maven excluded).

One of the sentiments is that BTC will come to 42/44k by Sept., it may yet reach here this July if FUD persists...at least make we enjoy something worthwhile...people have tried.

SL don hit on BTC. Surprisingly, ETH hit this area I outlined same time with Bitcoin.

I hope what we are seeing is not the bottom...history repeating itself, when BTC touched 16k and people were calling for 10k...only to be left behind...don't know...just saying...or what do you think?

Best time to look at your EMA indicator if you want to LONG long-term, now that the market is red, for accurate interpretation.

Any reversal should hit 59,046 for 200 EMA and possibly bounce back if it gets rejected...

Or go past that and hit 65,683 for EMA 50.

Well, I closed my long on Friday evening by providence (maintenance issue by prop firm)...I fear Monday lows...stop loss would have been hit. I share the same sentiments, looking at the chart. It hit the trend line I placed and bounced...still not trustworthy, but I expect a recovery tomorrow. I also think there is news this week. That should boost upward if positive. US GDP stuff, can't remember.

Any downward trend should be close to the EMA 200.

Must pass this challenge!

As stated in the post above, EMA 200 is hit. Learnt one thing, stay true to what you see sometimes (not all the time, though). Never allow the market to Messi you...I hope this holds. If not, may close by the weekend, but since we have more red during these weekdays, perhaps the market will be gracious enough to make this weekend green for us...maybe.
