I, the LORD, have called You in righteousness, and will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, as a light to the Gentiles…It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, that You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth. (Isaiah 42:6; 49:6) as the cry of a baby atracts it mothers attention so shall your needs and cry attract God today he will give to you all you needs for the year. Say Amen |

Life isn't about keeping score. It's not about how many friends you have Or how accepted you are. Not about if you have plans this weekend or if you're alone. It isn't about who you're dating, who you used to date, how many people you've dated, or if you haven't been with anyone at all. It isn't about who your family is or how much money they have, Or what kind of car you drive. It's not about how beautiful or ugly you are. Or what clothes you wear, what shoes you have, Or what kind of music you listen to. It's not about if your hair is blonde, red, black, or brown, Or if your skin is too light or too dark. Not about what grades you get how smart you are, how smart everybody else thinks you are, or how smart standardized tests say you are. It's not about what clubs you're in or how good you are at "your" sport. It's not about representing your whole being on a piece of paper and seeing who will "accept the written you." Life just isn't. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- The Life Is But, life is about who you love and who you hurt. It's about who you make happy or unhappy purposefully. It's about keeping or betraying trust. It's about friendship, used as a sanctity or a weapon. It's about what you say and mean, maybe hurtful, maybe heartening. It's about what judgments you pass and why. And who your judgments are spread to. It's about who you've ignored with full control and intention. It's about jealousy, fear, ignorance, and revenge. It's about carrying inner hate and love, letting it grow and spreading it. But most of all, it's about using your life to touch or poison other people's hearts in such a way that could have never occurred alone. Only you choose the way those hearts are affected, and those choices are what life's all about. |

Religion / He Paid The Price by tybanky(f): 1:11pm On Jul 09, 2008 |
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13). Jesus paid a supreme sacrifice to redeem you and all mankind. This sacrifice of His death on the cross of Calvary became necessary because the scripture say that “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 30:23). Consequently, the wages of sin is death and the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23). Despite the fact that man on his own decided to go astray from God, God still looked for a way to reconcile man to Himself so that the fellowship which was lost could be restored. The atonement of blood was needed for this reconciliation because without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins. This was why Jesus died on the cross. You may like to as “why Jesus?” It has to be Jesus because His blood was pure for He was sinless. No wonder. The Bible says that the blood of Jesus speaks better things than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24). His blood only could accomplish what the blood of rams and bulls could not do. The death of Jesus was penalty for the sins that you and I have committed. When Jesus died on the cross, He Declared, “It is finished.” That is, everything that needed to be done about man’s salvation was completed. Therefore, there is no reason man should continue to sin since the price has been paid. Does it not sound foolish for a slave who has been set free to choose to remain in bondage? Why do you still tell lies, commit fornication or adultery, backbite, gossip, steal and so on? Why? Why would you not behold Jesus on the cross where He took your place and died a shameful death? Would you rather continue to live in sin and wait for eternal condemnation at last? I counsel you to repent today so that you may have eternal life with Christ. The choice is yours but I implore you to choose life that you may live. If what you have read so far has touched your life and you have decided to give yourself to Chris, pray this short prayer: Oh Lord, I thank you for sending Jesus to die in my place. I repent of all my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Give me the grace to walk with you in holiness and grant me eternal life, in Jesus’ name. Amen Welcome aboard! You are now a child of God.
