A silent follower of the thread here.
My TB was supposed to mature 28th December, but Zenith already credited me on the 27th since 28th is Saturday, kudos to them.
Well, all good things comes to an end, it was good while the rate was good and we are grateful.
The current rates are not attractive, it's time to move onto other "secure" ventures while still pushing it at our day jobs.
To God be the glory. |

Seems Opay adds something extra to drivers, as a recruitment strategy, but can't see how that will help them in the long run, competition wise. Uber are the only guys that have it apart all figured out; robust and responsive app, driver-passenger consideration, etc. But the way they are losing money is something else and is not sustainable in the long run. What do I even know BAZ001: For the first time I took Ocar today from d airport Tried bolt 1800 - 2200 14mins away , Uber 3600-4000 surge Just peeped at Ocar and saw 1,350 - 1,500 sharply I made a request within 2mins drive don show. Las las pay na 1390 I come dey wonder. Driver say Bolt don block am, uber ban am say na only Ocar for now. |

MrMystrO: Kai.. Look at what chrony capitalism has done to this young girl. Every possibility that she's eventually going to live out a normal life has been shattered and destroyed by this grave decision she's made for herself because of money. Such a sad situation. Life hard in this country Sha! Think about yourself, she's made her decision and will live with it |

See wickedness and evil in high places. When they read what Uber Drivers make, they want to take a piece of the pie. More protection bro. Back to my nanny duties Izzou , come for apprenticeship ooooo SHOOPSYN: Guys, it is real.... let us all endeavor to always check our cars after dropping off riders. (or riders that seems like bird of ill-omen). Took 2guys to Baruwa inside area, dropped them at their location (area which doesn't a residential), I re-parked to clean my car before embarking on another trip, found a bottle drink under the front chair, what it is I don't know, seems mixtures of liquid drinks, threw it away, cleaned up and just 2minute drive away from the street, Sars stopped me and questioned me, they couldn't get on my nerves despite their approach because I was so calm with them with positive response. Decided to check my car, no issue. What baffles me is the way they searched, to the extent of opening my footmart. Infact, lets just be careful even as we pray for protection. I thank God because the story would have been different by now. I hale everybody + Uber barred me today with 6% cancellation rate. |

No offense meant Oga . But just saying it as it is Freshprince91: Prince3, please enough of these jabs abeg. I'm the one who shared the bad experience of a rider stealing my money and ndubuis was trying to justify why he would never leave a passenger in his car, he's entitled to his opinion, we all are. The same way i let it slide when Tyche said i was careless as if i envisaged such incident. We are all to share our experiences, learn from mistakes, crack jokes and have a good laugh about ourselves not some condescending talks some fellas are spewing. Let peace reign! We're all brothers on this thread irrespective of how long we've been on the street trying to make some bread. |

Freshprince91: You have a point bro. I don't think my destiny is cut out for this hustle anymore. The seatbelt issue is beyond me as i do not have words for it : because i made sure the lady strapped the belt before we left Magodo and midway through our journey, she complained of stomach upset and asked if i could pull over and help her adjust her seat, which i did, she even made mockery of me, trying to sneak in between her Legs. I guess it was that discomfort that made her loosed it, hoping to put it back before she fell asleep and I didn't notice because i was so fixated on my phone, trying to hide it from FRSC (Google map offence). She tried to make a case for herself when my car was flagged down but those FRSC officials were not having any of her pleas, i was just looking like a zombie devoid of what to say. Regarding the petty thief that stole my 5400 naira from the car arm rest, she must have seen the wads of cash when i opened the armrest for her to make use of the car charger. So, when my car battery misfired and i pulled over to fix it, she stole the money and i had no premonition it happened until the next rider asked for 100 naira to buy bottled water , that was when i knew i have been robbed. Your carelessness made it possible for her to steal your money, that's the truth. Everything you have experienced has there reason, learn the lesson therein. |

brogxy: What makes it different with same per min calculation, same base fare and only N5 diff on Kms which will only give you N100 diff on 20km. The psych bolt uses on you is to display (your money + their money) while the others simplified it by showing you only your money. Maybe saka is easier with bolt |
