dru23: I must be only one selling cars I guess.. My brother you forget am not based in Naija.. Am based in the USA.. So let break it down to you... when buying a car ,I have factor in my opportunity cost.. I have a regular job ,now do I now leave my job and start to chase cars all over the place? Would it be worth it .. Do u know the times it takes to search for a car ? Arrange a tow truck to tow the car to the port.. Do u think it is easy like that .... And the time it takes to do all the logistics. When u now compare the time u put in vs the profit margin.. Compare my living expenses and standard of living.. Would be worth it ? Lol smh.. The profit of 100k might mean a lot to you guys ,but for us na waste of time .. Even ship 50 cars a month or more. It will mean I will have to leave my job.. We all know it takes time to sell those cars. So money is tied down for months. Keep in mind am not the only person selling cars in Lagos.. I can go and on ,but only if you knew what it takes my brother.. Meself am lucky ,the port is very close to my house . Its about 20 minutes away .. What about other people that are hours away from the port.. Or do u think u just call a tow truck and he will be ready rite away.. You are basically on their time table.. Whenever they are the attend to you , you not the only that needs their cars to be drop off at the port..
My brother lol.. Only if you know what I know smh... Time is money and money is time ...you can always make money and get money.. But you can never buy time.. So use your time wisely ..for those that are in the car business I don't knock your hustle.. But for me I like cash flow and I will continue increasing my fleet.. I can't even keep up with demand from drivers looking for cars now self ...... Either way God bless our hustle and let's challenge ourselves to think outside the box .... My analysis are based on the profitability of you, having already shipped 20 cars, so far, this year, as against Uber "fleet". Give me a contrary analysis as to how one is more profitable than the others. You are not living better than most of us here, cut the bullshyte. To any business man, every profit, even 10 kobo is very important, even to Dangote. Some of us on the thread, travel to that your USA to buy cars and stuffs, you know. So they lie small small All this long write up are really unnecessary as they are bereft of facts. Who has time to read it? |

dru23: This year alone have ship close to 20 cars and mostly for a client via Nairaland.. When I look at the profit margin and stress , compare it to uber.. Uber is more profitable for me. I find ways to use my time effectively to maximize profit.. This one here is a big lie, 100% . The margin on 20 cars will cover your Uber "fleet" net earning for 1 year bro. Your 5 "fleet" on Uber should give you 3,750,000 for the whole year at 30k per week ( 30*5*52). But we know it doesn't, cause of basic repairs like oil change, etc, and this will take a minimum of 30% off your earning for the year. This is a conservative estimate. On the other hand, 3,750,000 for 20 cars is a margin of 187,00 per car. We all know the average margin on imported cars. Abeg, no be children dey here, we are all hustlers, stop boboing us Biko. |

I do not expect a grown man living with the parents to think otherwise. Every region of this country is facing the same hardship caused by this government incompetence. But to demonize a people, irrespective of their political leaning, for hardship been shared by everyone is insensitive. But, you don't expect cleanliness from a pig NigeriaIsDoomed: As if I am wrong, all over the North your lazy amajirin brothers and sisters are begging to survive. The most shocking is the scene of their elders with no disability begging for alms. Now tell me who is going to be badly hurt by the proposed tax? Personally, when they approach me for help I give them a stern look. Should it get to the extreme, some of us in the South will move all our family members abroad so las las na una amajirin folks wey already dey vulnerable go die of hunger. Una go get sense by force shebi una no want restructure the country. Na una type dey sell una votes collect 1 cup of rice and 500 Naira wey go last just oneday without thinking of the future, na una dey marry plenty wife without any handwork. No worry sense go fall on una by the time Buhari tax una to death. |

So far, the places I know that are very bad are 4th Avenue, 7th Avenue, parts of 23 road, 21 road and 51 road, parts of Ist avenue, and few others. Their major roads are not bad
And from his complain, the route to Festac is good. From Cele-2nd rainbow-Apple junction to Festac is okay.
Only the driver knows why he brought up the issue of offline for that route sha. Maybe I don't know anything This guy has paid his dues in ehailing |
