RichDad1: One thing I’m sure is , APC can never dump Oshiomole for Obaseki. Las las Obaseki will be denied 2nd term ticket, he will decamp to PDP or whatever and APC will show him who the boss his. He either bend or be uprooted. In politics , you have to learn how to compromise. You can always win at all times. You can’t bite the finger that fed you. The same profile that are now supporting Obaseki now and the same abiding Oshiomole during the campaigns. Party supremacy is a must. And you are? |

Obinnau: thank brother. I think I can fit into the car. I got a tokumbo, never used in Naija at 700k. Though I am stalling, I think it's too costly. I heard the fuel economy is so efficient too. At 700k it's a good deal. But using it for ehailing maty not be the best idea going forward |

May the best man win. I enjoy Huawei phones but they can't displace google in software development. As for hardware, they are ahead of the pack. ornicus: Every paid app on the playstore must remit a cut to Google. Huawei is saying they will offer better incentives. Do you game? Epic games is effectively doing the same thing. They are taking a smaller cut from developers than steam, with the goal of expanding their base. They are also selling a lot of games for lower prices than on steam
In all of this, we should remember the reason why huawei is having issues. Us intelligence services warn that huawei devices can be compromised. This is an issue for us, as almost every domestic router sold in this country is Chinese. Every Chinese business in this country is backed by their government in some way. That means that if for instance ccecc is competing with Julius berger for a contract, they may be able to steal info from juilus Berger workers using Chinese models to send emails. They can cripple network traffic of opay competitors. Shebi everyone has been complaining of network issues on their apps? |

ornicus: They are threatening a closing window after which they go full steam ahead with their own os. Which would mean more competition for google and a possible loss of the China market. Maybe naija market too if their play store is cheaper ( they are promising that) Google, Gmail and their other apps are not in China; there's no loss to start with. We will welcome competition for Google to be honest, but Huawei should consolidate on communication equipments. Typed from my Huawei Y5 |

ajoks533: Good afternoon great people. So I was asked to pick this for 1.1M... 2014, 58k Mileage, used by a pastor.
However, a few close friends advice I should rather go for a Naija used Corolla as the parts of the Hyundai might be expensive and not readily available...
Please I need some professional advice from my elders. Which year and model? Looks like 2013. There's a thin line differentiating the year model for me. Car is ok and rugged, from private use experience, although ehailing is a different ball-game. 2011 engine is about 200k or less but the 2013 model engine is about 600k, so you gotta be top notch with maintenance. Don't go for it if it's not 2011 |

izzou: I'm sure they did all these, but I think the issue boils down to getting drivers to install the screens, how much are you willing to pay, and most importantly, getting the clients to advertise
Those three, to me are huge barriers Have any idea what they paid? We can build on that or look at pay per trip, per day or per week depending on some deliverables |

buymyride: next time when you collect your papers, go to custom office yourself and verify it for just 3k. After verification, you would be given the verified copy which you would show custom officers any time they stop you rather than the real custom paper, and once they see that form, they automatically let you go. Now that the shouting has died , can we move on? What guerilla marketing approach can we adapt and change the narrative in this Uber, Ocar, Bolt trichotomy? Of course, we can't outspend them, but we can leverage on the experiences here to create another David and Goliath scenario. ornicus: My job pays me 200k / month My side hustle gives me 500k / month
I am not going anywhere in my job, so I am investing in certifications and training. These are not a guarantee of anything, other than hope.
Unless my side hustle is not sustainable, why should I continue to burn my energy on a job, when I can burn it on a side hustle and move to the next level?
What i am inferring is that you can afford to do this because your job is not taking your energy per se.
