Ohanaeze Ndigbo President General, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyawu, has recounted his visit to IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, at DSS Headquarters Abuja, on 30th of May. Iwuanyawu said he met with Kanu and talked at length. Iwuanyawu said that IPOB has denied involvement in violence, and that whatever insecurity in the East is criminality and not agitation. He said that Nnamdi Kanu is sad and angry that some people may be hiding under agitation to commit criminal acts
He reiterated that Kanu is against the killing of Soldiers, enforcement of sit at home or denying children the opportunity to take exams.
Iwuanyawu said that if IPOB or Nnamdi Kanu were responsible for insecurity in the East, they would not enjoy the widespread support they have today in that area. Iwuanyawu said that Nnamdi Kanu is a manifestation of the discrimination against Igbo people in Nigeria. He reminded the reporters that some Yorubas are asking for Oduduwa Republic, some Ijaws are asking for a seperate country, some Northerners are doing the same, so agitation to leave Nigeria is nothing new. He called for the release of Nnamdi Kanu through a political process
He reiterated that the only way to solve the problem of Nigeria is to restructure the country and give powers back to the federating units so everyone can develop according to their talent. He said that the constitution has given whoever is President of Nigeria too much powers he or she shouldn't have. He ended by saying that if Nigeria refuses to restructure, nothing will change.
Federal Government has withdrawn terrorism charges slammed against the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore leader, Bello Bodejo accused of forming and arming a vigilante group in Nasarawa State. This same Federal Government finds it difficult to set free Nnamdi Kalu who was brought back to Nigeria from Kenya through irregular rendition and whom law court of competent jurisdiction has discharged and acquitted. This is injustice and is reprehensible.
What is the difference between this and those who are selling naira via POS? They even go as far as over charging people of what was freely collected from the ATM, making life more difficult for people who want to use the ATM, because by the time most people get to the ATM, POS people would have collected all the money..
Even when the CBN law state that selling Nigeria note is prohibited..
Alot of things need to be done in this country, you can imagine after sweating to earn my money, I will still have to sweat to collect it and even buy it
POS attendants or operators do not display currency as article of trade. They only charges you for services rendered and of course you have the right to either withdraw your money via ATM machine or across the bank counter.
Carazon: Yes, NAFDAC did and her claims were false so let her come forth with a prove
In the said tomato review, she mentioned two of her preferred tomato brands which made the whole thing look like she was paid to play the devil's advocate.

I think concorde is an airliner not an airline. Air France is an airline that uses airliner for her operations. Except you are referring to Abiola's Concord airline.
JessicaRabbit: How laughably sentimental of you. It actually bothers me that some Nigerians can make such naive comments as the above. It's a total non sequitur to suggest that revising our national anthem is a sufficient solution to the current economic woes. You claim the old national anthem evokes a "spirit of patriotism and brotherliness" but somehow are too blind to realize that the current administration's policies (or lack thereof) are not exactly fostering this sense of brotherliness and patriotism you are alluding to. No amount of nostalgia can put food on the table or create jobs. It's time for substance over sentimentality!
Racoon: Nigeria's inflation rate is now at 33.69% as at April 2024 - the highest in 28years since Mar 1996. Since the turn of the new year, the naira, which was floated almost a year ago has witnessed a dramatic depreciation, leaving a devastating mark on organised businesses across the board.
The prices of staple foods like beans and maize have increased by 300 to 400 per cent over the past year following the removal of the fuel subsidy and the depreciation of the naira. Inflation is outpacing the ability of families to cope, making essential food items unaffordable.
Yet see how they hurriedly granted accent with gusto to a matter that has not national bearing on the sufferings their citizens are undergoing at this point of our national life. The most useless rubberstamp stooges.

Your narrative is right, but you can as well agree that when one take a close sight and have a deep meditation of lyrics of the old National Anthem it invokes the spirit of patriotism and brotherliness which is one of the essential substance nations need to get things right.
HitlerWasRight: These people have no single functioning brain cells...
What you have failed to understand is that an average Obidient is a progressive and patriotic individual with conscience, an individual who upholds and stands for justice, equity and fairness. These attributes are innate in every Obedient reason they do not discriminate based on social status, tribe or religion.
BERNIMOORE: Fubara learning politics 101...The whole point here is to prepare the Appeal court to rule that PDP is divided, and Obviously this dissecting tunes is a genuine proof, Moreso the National Chairman and secretary are with wike on This....The Judiciary can only work on proof of evidence.....there was no defection letter served...thats the Joker. Femi Falana, over to you
As at the time of defecting to APC is there any dissension in PDP? Did they write application letter to join PDP?
GBPUSD: Someone asked me the question and I'm yet to find an answer. Which would you pick?
Accept ten billion naira and live ten more years on earth or remain in poverty even when you're not sure you're going to survive till the next ten years.
What would you do?
It matters not much if you live for ten years in riches or you live 100 years in penury here on earth. What really counts is where you will spend eternity after the wealth or poverty here on earth. Be careful of Greek gift!
Namaster: These guys think they've gotten update. But in reality, it's the older women who got the new format.
The guys are just willing slaves. They have sold themselves to slavery as retiring and assurance benefits to the old white women. It would have been better if no strings is attached, just natural affection and love.
Isaiah 66:8 Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion was in labor, She gave birth to her children.
May 14th 1948, was the day, the above Scripture was Fulfulled. Ever since then , the devil and his host ran mad. The devil fought to stop but the Word of GOD prevailed.
That was the day, our generation , the generation that will see JESUS Christ began to count.
SoNature: I am not encouraging anything. I have always been an advocate of using systems to stop fraud instead of chasing people who have stolen and squandered money. I have given an explanation of how the EFCC Act should be amended so that we can stop people in government from stealing.
If I squander state resources and you are asking me to provide the money I have already spent, that matter will be on for a long time in court and nothing will come out - the money has been spent. The Nigerian judiciary is terrible. If you take the former governor to court, Wike is connected to the judiciary, so the court cannot even send him to jail and the money won't come out.
For me, the best bet is to drop half of the money, save yourself the time, resources and efforts of taking him to court and getting nothing at the end of the day. That's because taking a former governor to court will also cost the state money, time and effort.
Is this how to fight corruption? Next time Mr. B will enter plead bargain and the circle continues to the detriment of the poor masses. If found guilty and insolvent to pay the debt, let all his property and assets(local and international) be traced and forfeited to the government plus a long jail term.

It is not in all case, it depends on the contract agreement between the consignee and the clearing agent. There are contracts in which the clearing agent has to use his money to finance the whole process of clearing of the goods and awaits payment after delivery. Also, there are agreements in which the consignee foot the bills, that is make money available for payment of custom duty, shipping charges, terminal charges, then on or before delivery pays the clearing agent his agreed service charge.
vanitybutiwanti: you're wrong and you're a kid, they gave reasons for defection, in the constitution there is a clause that permits defection and the lawmakers acted on that premise, now is it up to a drunk man to proclaim that their reasons for defection is valid or a court of competent Jurisdiction? The problem with the bulk of you, you're allowing your emotions to obscure your sense of judgements.
PressMyButton: Magnus Abe belonging in Wike's camp has sent even more shivers down the spine of Fubara. The house of assembly is an independent arm, it is not within your powers to recognize or derecognize any lawmaker, it is only the court of law that can make the pronouncement. Fubara is not facing governance, he's talking too much and might not end well for him.
In it current form, the federal constitution does not recognize members of Rivers State House of Assembly neither has any competent court of law made pronouncement on their status; invariably they owe their existence to the recognition accorded them by the chief executive.
You know you are still allowed to import fuel right?
He might be referring to the heavy traffic congestion occasioned by articulated vehicles waiting to load products that could be a norm in that axis as in other areas where tank farms are located.
DeLaRue: People don't understand that because of its nature, suede shoes looks older than their true age.
If you buy suede today, by the 3rd or 4th time you wear it, it will already look older than a leather shoe you have worn for several years. That's partly because, unlike leather, you can't polish it. Nor can you just grab a piece of cloth and water to wipe it.
Those who understand classical men's fashion know this. It is perfectly acceptable for a suede shoe to look a bit tatty.
If you see Prince Charles suede shoes, they look even worse than this man's own.
It's not about money.
Depending on the make, a suede shoe in the UK will cost upwards of £100. Up to £250 in some stores.
I can bet you, Mr Omokri's shoes will have cost him a lot of money, and I wont be surprised if it is only a few weeks old.
One can easily use suede spray shoe polish to maintain suede shoes. I think that's what Omokri just did.
