I was with my close friend yesterday evening. While we were chilling together, a call came in on his phone. it was his cousin that called telling what had happened and also seeking his advice. Now this is what happened, this his cousin has been dating this lady for about a year I think and he has already proposed to her and even took her to his parents and siblings. He also visited the lady family and did some introduction. Now April this year has been chosen for the wedding ceremony proper and a date has been fixed. This is where trouble started.

My friend cousin created a WhatsApp group for his wedding ceremony, he added all his friends and some of his classmates to this group so they can join hands and make his wedding day memorable. He posted his wedding IV to the group and some pictures of him and the lady, one of his old time classmate recognized her and immediately called him for a private meeting for urgent discussions.


He visited him the next day and this guy told him everything about his fiancée. How she used to be a stripper in Lagos clubs years back and how he and his friends had wild 3some with her. She used to base in Lagos as a call girl but relocated to Abuja and that’s where she met my friend cousin. After all these revelation this guy was in deep pain as he had already gone far with the weeding preparations. Of course his old time classmate advised him not to marry her, but this guy loves her so much and he is in a big dilemma of what to do next. As he thinking of leaving the country and go start life with her elsewhere.

Can such past truly be overlooked?

After my friend explained everything to me, I was just short of words but of course I advised he shouldn’t marry her. What advice would you give him in such a situation my fellow Nlanders ?

So long the lady did not disclose her dirty past to your friend, my advise is for him to forget the marriage. I bet with such information about the lady, he cannot walk with the lady with head held high.

So it's much easier to hit Iran's asset, generals etc when they step outside their secured zone into Iraq and Syria. Iran too attack US assets using their militias in those countries. That way, everyone claims victory and there won't be a total fallout of war.

I hope this my post gets to the FP, so I can get insights from a wider audience; even I know some might not make sense, but one thing I've learnt from the short time I joined this platform, is that - sense dey inside nonsense.

Pardon me, my write fit dey a bit lengthy.

I currently work with a multi-national startup coy. My net pay is a bit above 400k naira (this's at the moment), I've worked for about 2 years. I'm married with two kids and expecting the third.

Now my dilemma is that, I've not been able to save up funds, I feel like my living condition doesn't reflect what I earn. Shingbai like this, I no get for account. We are allowed to cultivate and produce raw materials just for export to keep their mills rowing and grinding. A Woman, Joan Orajiobi, from Nnewi in Anambra, has given birth to a set of triplets in Enugu on New Year’s Day.

Orajiobi delivered two girls and a boy in a private hospital, the Praise and Grace Hospital and Maternity at No 1 Mbanugo Street, Coal Camp, Enugu State.

Speaking to the press from the hospital, Orajiobi, who lives at Ologo Quarters, Uwani Enugu, said when she became pregnant in May 2023, she was made aware it would result in a triplet.

She added that the labour started on Saturday, but she visited the hospital on Sunday, and on Monday, she delivered the triplet.

“I am a hairdresser, I had two girls already before this pregnancy occurred in May but I never knew I was pregnant for a triplet until the scan said I was carrying twins.

“So today, around 7 am God gave me a January gift and New Year Bonanza and throughout the period of this pregnancy, the babies were not giving me challenges.

“I even carry the pregnancy to do customer’s hair only that my legs do swell. People will be telling me to go and rest but I kept struggling to do the work to find what my family will eat,” she said.

She, however, called on Nigerians to come to her aid, saying it would be difficult for her and her husband to take care of the babies.

“I am pleading to Nigerians especially the governors of Enugu and Anambra State, Gov. Peter Mbah and Chukwuma Soludo, and Nigerians to come to my rescue.

“They should come and assist us with anything they wish to do for us. The doctor said the triplet would cost us N450,000 because I delivered through the Caesarian Section.

Also speaking, her husband, Mr Cornelius Orajiobi, a trader, said they both hail from Obiofia in the Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State.

He said he felt excited when the scan showed that his wife was pregnant with twins but never knew it was a triplet.

“I have two kids girls before and I never planned to have triplets before God surprised us.

“Nigerians should please assist us because this gift is bigger than what I can cater for alone,” he pleaded.

In the meantime, the father of the deceased, Malam Hafizu Gorondo, is suspicious that the couple might have conspired to kill his son because of some outstanding monies Dayyabu owed his son. He said his son had told him of the failure of Dayyabu who was also his business partner to repay him an outstanding loan of a N25m. Meanwhile, the spokesperson of the command, DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, in a statement on Sunday, December 24, said more details on the incident would be revealed after the investigation.
