A few days ago, you read the story of a banker, Mrs Bimbo Ajetumobi Daniju who nearly severed her husband's manhood with a knife.

However, 31 year old pregnant woman has explained the reason why she carried out the evil act. See what she told Saturday Punch below:
“Please, kindly judge this by yourself. As a pregnant woman, will I willingly attempt to cut off my husband’s penis? I ordinarily would not have said anything. I did not realise this will escalate to this stage. The case is being handled by my lawyer at the moment.
“My husband is not a hot-tempered man but he gets angry once in a while. He lied that he washes my clothes. He only did that once or twice when I was ill. We had a disagreement that day and he beat me up. My mother came to the house and took away our son.
“Without telling anybody, I went to my hospital and was treated. I did not tell him. But when I got home, he continued to harass me. He said I must ensure his son was returned to the house. Continue...

“I was so tired and I went to sleep. But in the middle of the night, he woke me up and asked me again to produce his son. We started fighting and he was beating me. In order to escape his beating, I had to hold his penis. I wanted him to leave me alone. I held on to it until I had a chance to escape.”

“Please ask him, which certificate is he even talking about? When I married my husband, he told me he graduated from the Ogun State University, Ago-Iwoye, but that he had an accident some time ago, in which his certificates were burnt,” she said.

“When I married him, he did not have a job. He said he was working on a CD and all the money I made, I spent on him.”


Speaking with Saturday PUNCH, her husband told a different story.
He said, “My pastor had advised me against marrying her because of an encounter he had with her. Before we got married, in a meeting with Bimbo, my pastor said he asked her about her past and my wife said, ‘How dare you!’

“Of course, I did not believe my pastor at the time because I was in love. But now, I rue the day I met that woman.”

Lekan alleged that his wife had been behaving strangely since he lost his job. He stated that he had done everything he could to ensure that she remained happy.

According to PM News, A woman took a knife and sliced her husband's penis during a fight at their home in Surulere. Read the report below...

The popular saying that hell has no fury than a woman scorned came to pass on Monday at the Surulere residence of a banker, Bimbo Ajetumobi Daniju and her gospel singer husband Olalekan Idowu Daniju when the woman allegedly took a knife and sliced her husband’s penis during a fight.
Bimbo, staff of a new generation bank in Lagos was said to have accused her husband of not taking care of her and their only child, Opeoluwa. The husband disagreed and while fighting, Bimbo allegedly seized her husband’s penis and sliced it with a knife. Bimbo denied using a knife but her fingernails to teach her husband a lesson on how not to treat a woman. The ugly incident happened on Monday at their Falolu Street, Surulere home.

Looks like another marriage of Nigerian celebrities is coming soon as popular Fuji musician Wasiu Alabi Pasuma is set to marry Yoruba actress Ronke Odusanya, a.k.a Flakky Ididowo.

In a recent interview the Fuji artiste left little space for doubting it. Read below:


“Well I am in a serious relationship with Ronke Odusanya a.k.a Flaky Ididowo. If things work according to plan we might get married soon. Though everything is in God’s hands but I can assure you that we are in a serious relationship.”

Speaking further about his daughter and why he is still single, Pasuma said the following:

“I had my first child when I was 23 and by the time she was born, a lot of people thought I was not serious then. Thank God that she is 23 now while I am 46. The girl is now my friend and confidant.

“I have been married once but it did not work. Mind you marriage is a life time contract, so I don’t want to rush into it. But I can assure you I will definitely move into my new house with a wife soon, ” the musician stated.

A few weeks ago when I heard this gist, I never thought they could pull it off, but after I experienced it, I was ‘blown away’.

I’m talking about Johnnie Walker’s Drive of a lifetime with Mika Hakkinen (a 2-time Formula 1 champion and legend) which held on the30th November at Palms shopping mall Lekki.

Johnnie Walker thrilled consumers with a VIP experience like never before. Those that were at the Palms on the 30th can bare me witness to this.

For the first time ever, the Johnnie Walker Caparo supercar was driven on Nigeria soil. It was indeed a ‘wow’ experience to savour. Mika Hakkinen drove some distinguished guests, winners from the ongoing JW promo and A-lists celebrities including Wale, Uti Nwachukwu, M.I in the super fast Caparo car.

The sound of the Caparo engines brought out a lot of exhilaration from the crowd. It truly felt like been in a F1 championship in Monaco or Singapore.

M.I Abaga added some spice to this memorable event with an electrifying performance that got everyone in the party mood.

It was indeed a unique, intriguing and the most memorable event to hit Lagos in 2013.

The daughter of late Funmi Martins, Mide, married a popular Nollywood actor and producer Afeez Owo several years ago. She also joined the Yoruba movie industry shortly. But, unfortunately Mide’s marriage to Afeez has crashed.

According to Nigeriafilms, their marriage packed up on an alleged infidelity accusation by Afeez. The actor has always been suspicious of his wife’s movement, and whenever he confronted her, her responses were not pleasing to his ears.

He had decided he could not handle her ‘infidelity’ anymore and separated from the actress months ago, despite pleas from friends and family.
“The couple has been having issues with their marriage several months back but the crack became evident after the couple started living separately this year,” a source of Nigeriafilms disclosed.

Their duo has since moved on. Afeez Owo not publicly shows off his new love interest, while Mide has their kids in her custody, and has not publicly identified with a love interest yet.

he video showing the precise moment Paul Walker's Porsche Carrera GT crashed into a tree and burst into flames has been released. The footage of the deadly crash was captured by CCTV cameras on the roof of an industrial park close to the crash site. The pic above was taken a few minutes after the accident on Saturday. It shows fire fighters and police physically wrestling one of Paul's friends away from the scene.

Meanwhile a friend of Paul and Roger Rodas who was at the charity show on Saturday said the two friends took the Porsche out to check for a suspected mechanical issue and not for a joyride as is being reported.

'As they were backing up the Carrera to put into the garage, it started stalling. I heard someone say, and I think it was Roger, "Why is the car stalling? Let’s take it around the block", the friend told Hollywood Reporter. 'Paul said, "Let me go with you really quickly.

The whole premise of taking the car out for a drive was because something was wrong. These guys are business owners and Paul was a celebrity. They are responsible people. It was more like, "What the hell is wrong with this car? Let’s see what’s wrong and go for a drive".'

Late Paul Walker's friend and Fast & Furious co-star Tyrese visited the scene of the car crash today and was inconsolable. The actor and singer, who has been friends with Paul for the past thirteen years cried through out. He left a single yellow rose at the scene of the crash before leaving.

Paul Walker, 40, was the passenger in his friend's Porsche GT which spun out of control and hit a pole and tree, bursting into flames and killing both men yesterday afternoon November 30th.

TMZ reported earlier today that the county coroner revealed that the bodies of Paul and his friend Roger Rodas, 38, who was also his financial adviser, were so badly burned that they are currently unidentifiable.

The L.A. County Coroner has requested dental records for both victims before they can identify the bodies. Autopsies on both bodies have been delayed until later this week. Too sad!

After Governor Oshiomhole told a widow who kicked against the law to go and die during one of his official duties in the State, the PDP, Edo State chapter have announced that they had instituted an endowment fund for the widow. They asked her to come to their secretariat to receive a first instalment sum of N250,000. **Ghen ghen.. I saw it coming** Nigeria Politics.. hehe!

In the statement signed by the state chairman of the party, Chief Dan Orbih, the party described the Governor’s actions as “appalling, insensate, disgraceful, indecent, cruel and below board,” noting that “we will continue to stand in the gap to ensure that Edo people are deservedly fairly treated.”

Though, Governor Adams Oshiomole of Edo state had apologized for his act, even before the Edo state PDP donation to the poor widow in question.

Nigerian star footballer and Chelsea FC of England Midfielder, John Mikel Obi has been duped of a huge amount of money. Mikel Obi was duped by a close friend after he was shown a property to buy.

The top footballer after inspecting the property was satisfied with it and gave his friend a cheque of N100m to purchase it. It was said that, his friend disappeared into thin air after he cleared the money and till today Mikel is yet to hear from him or see him.

A source who confirmed the story said, Mikel still finds it difficult to believe, they were very close the source said. The friend is no longer seen in town and his phone numbers have been unreachable. The source also said Mikel is still very much busy to come to Nigeria to report the case to the police.

HRM, Samuel Obade I, the Onojie of Ugbegunland 'hometown of the late Professor Festus Iyayi, and his people, have asked the Kogi State Governor to pay the sum of N50 billion to the immediate family of professor Iyayi as compensation for killing him in an auto crash while one of his security vehicles ran into his car.


The letter was sent to the Executive Secretary, National Human Rights Commission in Abuja, A lot of dignitaries have also been visiting his home, while other parties have asked the federal government to punish reckless drivers and also probe into what might have led to his death. They also said it’s time for the FRSC to make sure speed limits are adhered too.

Things seem to have taken a rocky turn for the seemingly happily married couple. Beyonce, 32, is reportedly thinking about taking a break from her marriage because she thinks Jay is being “selfish” and not putting his family first.

While Beyonce was in Australia for her Mrs. Carter tour, Jay Z visited her and the two lovebirds took a mini 3-day vacation to a private resort to spend some quality time together. But apparently it was more than just a relaxing trip.


"Jay Z’s early November trip to Australia was not just a family getaway, it was a last-ditch effort to keep his marriage afloat," an insider told Star.

"Jay Z’s decision to tour Europe at the same time as Beyoncé is touring Australia has caused serious damage to their relationship — damage that may be ultimately prove to be irreparable.”

Though the source says Bey didn’t have an issue with Jay, 43, going on tour with Justin Timberlake over the summer, she assumed that he would at least take the initiative to accompany her and their 19-month-old daughter, Blue Ivy, on tour in Australia and New Zealand – instead of going clubbing all the time.

The Osun State Police Command has arrested a 35-year-old vulcaniser, Ademola Simiyu, of Ile Olode in Ikoyi for allegedly defiling his 11-year-old daughter.
Simiyu, a father of three, allegedly committed the act on Wednesday, October 23, when he woke up the girl at about 12 midnight while she was sleeping with her siblings and forcefully had carnal knowledge of her.
The suspect was said to have stifled the cries of his daughter by covering her mouth with his palm. The girl reportedly started bleeding heavily but the father refused to take her to the hospital, out of fear of questions that could be raised concerning the bleeding.

But his deeds came out in the open on October 24 when the girl reportedly told her mother what her father did to her during the former’s visit to the girl who had by then fallen sick.
Crime Reports gathered that when the case was reported to the police, detectives immediately took her to the hospital for medical examination and treatment.
When interrogated by the police, Simiyu was said to have confessed to the deeds, saying that he did not know what came over him. He also revealed that he married the girl’s mother in 2000 and they had three children between them but that they had lived apart in the last two years because of a misunderstanding they had, saying that he had been the one taking care of the children.
It was gathered that the medical report indicated that the girl had coital bleeding while vaginal examination revealed laceration in her vaginal wall, with foul smell and discharged altered blood coming from it. The report also indicated that her hymen had been torn and there was tenderness around her vulva and pelvis.
Confirming the incident, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Folasade Odoro, a Deputy Superintendent of Police said that the Commissioner of Police, Dorothy Gimba, had directed that a diligent investigation should be conducted into the case, decrying the high number of defilement and r*pe cases within the society.

Meanwhile, Crime Reports learnt that the suspect had been charged to Court 4, Osogbo Magistrates’ Court on a three-count charge. Though he pleaded not guilty to the charges, the magistrate ordered that he should be remanded in Ilesa prison. The case was adjourned to November 28.
