since your adapter is rated 2000mah, u should be getting btw 1000-2000mah.

this is the same charger I'm using for my hot 8 lite and it is fast.
try to download aida64 from google play. when u open the app u will see a place called battery. click on it when charging to see the charge rate.
u can also try changing the cords

hello everyone, so I recently purchased an infinix hot 8 phone ( fairly used) and I observed it usually takes 5 to 6 hours to charge fully using "I pass my neighbor gen" since I'm currently serving at a remote village without electricity.

It is not advisable to use that small Gen to charge ur coz it can/will spoil ur battery

Furthermore, I can't really say whether the engineer just carried out a normal cleaning or did something else, but I just noticed there's a change in that overheating issue... but it's still shutting down. Could it be a software issue or a hardware issue the Engineer did not get?

How hot is the underside or the air vent of your laptop immediately after it trips off. if it is very hot it is definitely overheating. You can check to see if the fan is "WORKING WELL", because the fan might be working but the rpm might not be able to dispel the heat from the laptop.
The other cause of overheating I can think of is dried thermal paste. If you are a DIY guy you can change the thermal paste yourself, else you will have to take it to a computer technician.
