now to the op. there r two kinds of people in this world. the idealists n the realists. the former try to change things by talking n appealing to the sense of reasoning. even when things r not worth fighting they just can't let it go. the latter do more of action than words n they recognise battles that aren't worth fighting. keep ur ideals to yourself. don't bother trying to change people. u will spend so much time n resources in achieving so little. the world will always be the way it is. change comes but not as often as we like. what effect will these ur ideas yield on the long run. u will talk to a few, even here on NL, they read ur thread n in the next few days they've forgotten all about u.
be a realist n accept that u can't do much to change things like this. if u can't force people to accept what u preach then don't waste ur time.

Living the early stages of my life outside the shores of nigeria virginity was something that wasn't much of a deal,if you were one fine if you aren't fine no one really cares but it was a huge culture shock for me when I came to nigeria and saw how highly virginity was rated,but that isn't the real issue the main issue is how the onus is on the female to be one while the guys can go around and sow their oats while nobody cared. I'm really shocked when I hear people say if she isn't a virgin I'm not marrying her,I instantly ask them are you a virgin and I always get the reply I'm a guy its different,Nooo man its not its absolutely the same thing. Another aspect which isn't considered is the fact although girls might not be virgins they have also not known any man. Most guys self service,so if a girl does that and loses her virginity some dumb guy would say yo she isn't a virgin so we aren't gonna get married,how stupid does that sound? If you expect her to be a virgin you also must be a virgin nothing more nothing less. Another annoying thing is when a guy eventually marries a virgin and he discovers she doesn't have any skills and starts to cheat on her,why cheat on her you wanted a virgin and you got one so tick with it
