The more you look the less you understand. The main raw material is quarried cheap in Nigeria. Natural gas and coal are also abundant and cheap. But here we are battling high cement prices. By the way I suspect that the govt decision to switch to rigid/concrete pavement technology is a key factor. Demand has surely grown over the past two years but no reported commensurate expansion in supply. It points to the fact the decision was not well thought through. 11 Likes 2 Shares |

Since it's INEC conducting the election, at least we would opposition winning seats. Unlike the sham LG elections done by state governors. Elrufai is the only governor in recent time who conducted elections and opposition parties won several seats because he deployed electronic voting. Not a governor,definitely. Ours is a country that has the most terrible public sanitary facilities I have seen. Not even Abuja is spared of this malaise. And this is something that the govt only needs to give direction because many private investors are ready to invest. 7 Likes |

This transmission is not rocket science. All polling units have their geographic coordinates. Govt has the wherewithal to know the mobile network coverage in each of these places. I'm sure most places have at least one network available. The ones which do not have can be identified early and alternative arrangements be made. Simple and short 2 Likes |

Lagos projects are always are expedited, even though they cost far more. Benin Warri has been ongoing for more than 2 years yet not even half has been completed. Abuja Kaduna not even 20% done. Lokoja Benin nothing to write home about. But the coastal road that was started less than 2 years ago has at least 50km completed. Government agencies are been stifled of funds. Contractors have been going up and down for their payments to no avail. |

10 billion is too big an allocation for vehicles. But I refuse to believe that 200m was the only fund for school facilities. There are many budget line items that can cover for that apart from that of thr ministry |

It'd shock you to know that the Fulani are the most affected by the criminality by their brethren. Legitimate herdsmen have permanently abandoned some of their grazing routes for fear of bandits. Hundreds of Fulanis settlements have been left to ruin and thousands of inhabitants have been displaced. This doesn't fit to the narrative that the peddlers of christian genocide want to sell. No wonder I see many here insinuating 'taqiyya' or this particular incident was deliberately arranged to deceive the public. The muslim sect which does taqiyya is the shi'a who are less than 5% of Nigeria's muslim population. The average Nigerian muslim doesn't hide his beliefs and ideologies. That's why he doesn't give a damn about all the hate in the media. |

The only reason I see for the construction of this road was to false mirror the coastal road in Lagos. In case the northerners shout 'where is out own' they'd show them this. Just like the Lagos Calabar road, Sokoto-Badagry was even mentioned by past administrations because they knew there are scores of other road infrastructure that deserve more attention. At least, the Lagos section of the coastal road would open up a lot of economic opportunities along the corridor. But we can't say the the same for SBR. There's a road that already connects Sokoto to Kebbi and the traffic is not over stretched. Dualisation of that road is enough to boost business activities there. I reiterate that the SBR is not even top 10 road projects the north needs. Enough of this deception to siphon money. 4 Likes 3 Shares |

80% built by Buhari, 20% by Tinubu. Funding by FG and NLNG. It's a phenomenal project. The people of Bonny deserve it. Let the FG focus on the East West road so that motorists can drive smoothly Warri down to Calabar. The coastal road is not meant to connect to Calabar even in the next 10 years. For me, it should be Kwankwaso -Obi because Kwankwaso is ahead of Obi in terms of performance as governors. However, Obi has a stronger appeal in the south while Kwankwaso doesn't have its equivalent in the north 5 Likes |
