Elrufai came with an intent to resolve the crises but it appeared some powers within SK had ulterior motives and pounced back on him via the media narratives which they control. To this day, Elrufai continues to defend his stances on the issue. But unfortunately, people choose to look the other way.

I've been the south south and I've seen northerners who live in terrible housing conditions, but they have rooms where they sleep. Homeless are those who sleep under bridges, on the roads or even sleep whenever the sleep meets them.

I don't believe this stat. Why are most of the numbers round figures with exception of two? What's the source of their data? Lagos and Kano being the most popular states in Nigeria can't have 500k homeless each. You most find homeless people in the cities not villages.

By the way, I don't like the way Nigeria handles its demographic data. There's so much exaggerated information out there. And many other underreported. Some people just cook up data to get funding and then corner the monies without addressing any gaps.
