Surely, it's not in the league of Shell or even indigenous companies like Seplat. Most of us know that Asian companies aren't good in terms of worker welfare and dignity. However, Sterling is still better than most companies in other sectors.

Dear eligible candidate, don't sleep on this opportunity. At worst, you'd garner experience and build yourself for better opportunities.

This is Nigeria not US. With that salary one can buy a house is parts of Abuja or Lagos in 3 years. One can also buy a tear-rubber car. Aren't these features of richness?

I always laugh at people who believe this. A fresh graduate of 22 years who's lucky to get into some top oil companies right here in Nigeria can earn more than a 100 million annually. Is he not already rich in one year? Can you imagine his wealth in the next 10 years?

People need to just search the web and see what CEOs of telecom FCMG and energy companies earn. And all of them are 9-5ers. So don't let anybody deceive you that 9-5 can't make you rich. Afterall, even entrepreneurship or business doesn't necessarily make one rich. Only a tiny majority become billionaires

It's unfortunate that Mr Dangote doesn't treat his staff well. I thought it was just the guys at the factories but here is a case of a top corporate staff. Indeed, I support the argument of Mr Albert(deceased's lawyer) that workers' welfare should be a key metric for enlisting into the stock exchange.

Lagos is the most populated state in the country and the economic heartbeat of not just Nigeria but the entire West African region. Why should any sane and well-meaning person be angry that it is finally getting the due infrastructural attention it deserves after many years of deliberate neglect by federal authorities?

Which neglect are you talking about? Is there any place apart from Abuja where FG still did big road projects within the metropolis if not Lagos. The FG, under Buhari, built Apapa-Oworosonki, worked multiple times on the 3MB, the ports etc. I don't mind if Lagos is getting some special attention but not the expense of 35 other states which includes the oil producing states

I really feel that Tinubu is not patriotic. Many years ago, he made a statement which made it to a newspaper headline : "I don't believe in one Nigeria". It's obvious that this belief still sits solidly in his mind.

Apart from Lagos and Abuja projects, one can not point to any major project from previous completed or new ones reaching significant progress.

Almost 4 years into the government, Abuja - Lokoja- Kabba....-Lagos is terrible. Warri-Benin is no where near completion. Same trend in other zones. Yet the government is prioritizing coastal highway.

This argument by Dangote about bad imported fuel is yet to be substantiated. His quality might be superior but that doesn't mean others do not meet the specifications. He and his supporters always cite that the regulator NMDPRA doesn't have a certified laboratory. That in itself isn't an indictment because the regulator might decide to do a multi layer strategy where it gives out samples for investigations to different independent laboratories. Isn't that a more credible way than using govt labs which are easier to compromise?

It's a good deal for them especially as their employer provides accommodation plus electricity, and their offices are mostly within reach(thus, lower transport costs).Add to that, their kids have access to cheap and good education.

Same can not be said of other FG workers. From paramilitary personnel, civil servants and the rest.
