Yes. From what I have read online, I will contact US Embassy, they will give me a letter to travel and upon my arrival in the US, I will fill i90(Green card renewal) and pay the replacement fee but the problem is it takes 5 to 1 year to get another green card.

If I need to travel outside the country, I will need to do an infopass and get a green card(soft copy) stamped on my passport.

Its better to guide the card very well.
