iKingsley:
the problems is with the government. They ought to have provided all the protective equipment for them but because we are in the bush, this can never happen.
Post office are not supposed to shutdown for any reason

This is Nigeria, not a bush as you and your likes prefer to describe her. It is not working today because of the incompetent and selfish leaders we have. However this does not mean that the situation will never improve in the future. We have no other place to call a home except Nigeria. Let's think and act positively.

Other than that, yes the government is to blamed for the closure of essential duties/services.

ruggedcodez:
hey.. I should have read this threads before ordering ooo .. .. i just ordered for something today and i still have more than 8 others on the way. na wa o ... is nipost no longer working abi wetin

Are you working from your office during these period?

They are human beings too. They need to stay safe like everyone of us.

If they were to work during these period with the covid-19 pandemic, the government will not provide them with the needed protective working tools and alcohol based hand gels.

wallex1983:
This is very wrong.

But why is this Ganduje just misbehaving here and there?

Must you impose your religion on anyone? Needless talk of a minor?

Sincerely, if not for the poor masses, one would have just wished Covid-19 finished its job on the wicked souls.

This is rampant in the North. Minors (especially girls) are forcefully converted to Muslims and kept away from their parents. These girls are 5.e.x.u.a.l.l.y exploited too.

Sorry for your loss.

His name:Rex
Location:Abuja

Rex looks well taken care of.

Nice dog.

gman55:
@IamAnderson where is your location, have a bitch that i need to cross

Can we see pictures of your bitch?

MMElliot:
Also interested in pictures. Plus the areas you mentioned say nothing about the location of the estate in kuje. Capital science is at the far opposite end of Nig-Ghana, so is centenary. It's like Capital science is far North, Centenary is far west, and Nig-Ghana is far south.
Also, what are the building terms on the land, since it's an estate? only bungalows, duplex or what? Pls note not everyone uses whatsapp.

Another thread has been created on the same subject matter.

What dey Bleep
This stuff is getting serious
Even borno
If this COVID-19 catch bokoharam leader, will government treat him??
Am just asking

Yes, if he comes forward to be treated. The state owes him that. But if he gets well, he will be arrested.

guru90:
My brother, I de indoor developing company softwares. Till this Lockdown end.

You are doing well. We all have more time on our hands to develop ourselves. Let's make the best out of every situation.

Stay safe and well.

tempex88:
every governor needs to be like Wike. Suspend entry to your state now. Abuja can just koba everybody with what happened yesterday.

Yes I also commend the Governor of Rivers state.

I read some days ago that the Niger state government turned back people who had traveled from Lagos. This is the way to go.

Despite the lockdown, some persons are still moving.

guru90:
They said that 300,000 people will die of CORONAVIRUS in African.

I read this news via online but not in Nairaland.

Forget about those online reports, they are mere propaganda.

What matters is that you stay safe and observe the physical distancing and proper hygiene.

miketayo:
How did it get to borno

Nigerians travel across states a lot. When the government directed that there should be no gatherings, most states in the North didn't take it serious. They felt that coming together to pray on Fridays was more important to them.

Moreover the report states that the health worker was moved to Maiduguri from Pulka (Pulka in Borno state shares border with Cameroon). Probably some Nigerians may have returned from Cameroon with the virus. There are so many ways the virus can spread.

jchioma:
It's a matter of time, the whole north may become epicentre of the deadly virus if drastic measures are not taken on time.

It's already late to do anything now. It has spread within the Northern region than is being reported to the public. The FG should create more test centres nationwide.

May God continue to help us.

flexyrule:
Well. I don't know what you call "the right channel". There is another thread here on nairaland where another customer called out this same seller. And the customer was credited back his funds. I think there must have been a system downtime leading to requests not being attended to.
A company that has customer service reps who you can call and make complaint to me is legit. Technical issues can result in delay in handling requests.

Of course, your money should be refunded if you did not receive what you paid for.

maxlev1:
Do u have a problem with that?

Of course not!

flexyrule:
What if the plan in question is for one week?
Am currently subscribed to MTN 6gig for 1500. Which is almost exhausted after 48 hours

Even if the plan is for 24 hours only, purchase it using the right channel....

ceejay80s:
5gb for 1840naira? Hmmm

Some persons are plain greedy and shady. These set of persons prefer to cut corners than pay the true value of the internet data they seek. In the process, they get burnt....

Mefloquine didn't make it to the trials.

UFC249:
I want feel the public pulse on this issue.
The outcomes:
1. will help Seun improve his business
2. review moderator powers, if there is no openly biased agenda.
3. Will correct an anomaly often over looked
4. May bring out the need to review the spambot technology policy
5. May bring out the need to review this ban policy
6. Help me make up my mind if the, obviously useful forum is worth my time.

My motive:
My other moniker got banned from a discussion on politics section without violating any known forums rules.
This is the second time this is happening and I do not want to conclude that people are banned if they they hold views that differ from the views of some 'almighty' moderators on issues.

For having multiple monikers, you have broken rule 19 already which reads,

19. Don't use alternate accounts to access Nairaland after being banned. If you do, make sure we don't find out.

Here you are, breaking the rules guiding the forum but complaining that it is unfair.

I am certain that if your case is reviewed, you must have broken a rule on the Politics section with your alternate moniker.

Kuginzi:
Nice advice!! But do u think the awareness campaign of this precautionary measures is getting down to the grassroot/villages?

Unfortunately those at the grassroots do not believe that the outbreak of covid-19 is real. They believe it is just a ploy to keep them indoors by the government. Some say that the covid-19 pandemic isn't real. Here, people go about their daily lives like nothing is happening.

The government needs, especially at the grassroots, to do more in creating awareness of the covid-19 and provide preventive tips.

May God help us.

Kuginzi:
My fear now is KANO STATE. We need God's intervention for them. If u know Kano people well, you'll understand the reason to fear.

I agree with you. The increased testing will reveal more cases not only in Kano but in other states as well.

The shit is getting real. NCDC had been romancing us with low figures in the past. Let's brace up ourselves, encourage physical distancing, wash our hands at all times, use the surgical mask and continue to pray.
