You cannot get love in a transactional relationship. In such relationships. You get something ( sex, companionship, money etc) in exchange for some other things (sex, your time, your intellect etc) anytime one of these "commodities" is no longer available the attraction dies and so does the relationship. In a true love relationship, the commodity on sale are your essence and that of your partner. And because they do not fade or get finished the love endures.

That's why true love is very rare.

Love is totally different from what young people fantasize about. Most young people think aboit sex when they say love. But its deeper than that.

To me love is being responsible. Putting the needs of someone or others ahead of yours. Hurting ,if necessary, just to make sure the other is happy and comfortable.

Love is sacrifice. It's living for others. It's what makes a father/mother stay hungry to make sure their kids are feed. It's what makes you deny yourself of luxuries to make sure others have enough.

Now for the one seeking love, are you ready to give these to another individual who is not related to you by blood? If not, then you are not ready to receive love. Just continue with transactional relationships that most people have and mistake for love.
