my own passport. I have a birth certificate from the hospital I was born which I have being using but due to what the embassy wants, so I told them to write it is jst a declaration that my birth certificate is true cause I will attach my real birth cert to the declaration.
You can declare your birth cert is lost cause that is what I saw when the guy was editing mine.

Well let me share a secret with my fellow Germo brothers and sisters. I was at the ikeja high court today for my declaration of age. You don't necessary need to give those tout money to help you because from my research you don't get a receipt. Since this thread is helping us to DIY without any agent, I will say how I did mine on my own without any agent both notorization and affidavit. when I drove in, the security asked what am there for and he sent somebody after me. The lady refuse 250/ page so I dropped from the car and scope one of the guard to show me where they do it. Went there and met the public notary there (Akwa Ibom man) and brought up a conversation and started discussing how I enjoyed Akwa Ibom during my school days finally did 10 pages for 1,500. The next time I went, did 5 copies for 1000.
Today I decided to just pass by and do the declaration of age. Drove in again and they rushed and the man was saying 1500. I just laugh and dropped to take passport photo cause one is required. While snapping I scoped the photographer and he showed me the entire process. If you can even type and print the blank form and bring it along, it will do you good but if not, go to the shops at the police station ) opposite the high Court) and print out for 150 naira and walk back into the high Court and ask for registry in front of all those brt buses. Inside the big office at the stage, they will write a receipt for you and stamp(250 naira, hold change o or else). Then you go to a commission in same office opposite the stage. There are up to 10( pick your choice and it's free). With this process, you have the legit declaration. From what I saw, those commissioners can still notorised your academic documents for little change. Gute nacht

Is this a normal occurrence or am I missing something? I actually booked an interview appointment on July 29th, via the email written at the back of the account oppenig receipt just about few hours after applying for the famous blocked account at the German embassy in Lagos. The guy never submitted any GRE unless if the school recently added GRE in their requirements.

Its a pity dear, I don't think the person u mentioned in Germany really wants to help you. If he does he wouldn't have requested above d stipulated amount for the letter wch is 25.00 euro.
Am also using letter of sponsorship and my uncle did everything and also spend his time on several occations for my letter. If he ask u to pay d 25.00 euro pls do so and try him also believe and pray over it.
Don't give him anything that exceed that amount.

Plz be careful so that u won't be a victim to fraud.

Use DHL if u are sending the documents to uni-assist or directly to the university. Tell them to give u the student price. Its about 7k or 8k. I think I was charged abt 8k d last tym I used it.

Is it that your middle name is not in your international passport, university and weac certificate, admission letter, if it is not in all these documents,you have to send the document back for correction or let them send you another one,but if your middle name is in all this documents I don't think that you will have a problem with it.

So you know why I'm still breathing naija air? it was because of an insignificant mistake on the date. Please while you still have the time. Scan and book an appointment but send the doc back so they can correct.
They will simply correct with pen and put their stamp on it to show authenticity. Hopefully, it will be done before your interview.

My sponsor said he can't be able to go back there. Though he ve gone there more than 6times before he could succeed. I have a frd in north rhine westphalia, can he be able to help me correct it. Though both are not in d same state.

If uni-assist actually informed u to apply with d letter all u need 2 do is print d letter in colored and apply ASAP.

interview done but not yet dusted because i (we) have to go back tomorrow for the capturing of our biometrics as their network was down.

It was only us (4) for student visa that was interviewed.
I was interviewed by the young Nigerian Lady and the only added question apart from the normal questions we all familiar with was the party which the president and chancellor of Germany belongs to and the date they assume office.

After my interview i asked her about the issue of changing your means of sustenance from blocked account to sponsorship after been interviewed and she replied that its not possible as the application will have been processed under the condition of a blocked account.
(so anybody trying to do that should mail the embassy before hand because i believed there might be exemption).

lastly, jokingly i asked her Ma can i book for my flight ticket...,she replied that i should just hold on though she understands its cheaper to book ahead.....but i should just please hold on...

conclusion..: if you are on nairaland you can't flop this interview...

Please gurus in the house is everything alright with that since I will be applying for visa to study. Itsnt that I doubt his honesty (I have known him for years) but just need to be sure he didn't make a mistake since he's doing this for the first time.

From what am seeing in the picture u uploaded is a short term visit/business wch is not what u r asking for.
Please explain to him exactly wht u need. U can even send d sample of d letter to him so that he can go back and explain to them before 3rd aug.
