Anger is one major tool that the devil uses to destroy destinies. Everybody knows clearly that no one just gets angry for no reason, without any provocation. Ecclesiastes 7:9 says, “Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools”. In Numbers 20:1-12, Moses – who had been labouring for God for forty years and leading a very difficult set of people, lost his temper just before he got to the promised land and so didn’t enter into it. Watch it: anytime something is about to make you angry, quickly check yourself; the devil may be preparing to spring an attack. Anger is very dangerous. There was a man whose only problem was anger. Whenever he got angry, he could do anything. He had just bought a brand new car, parked it in front of the house and was rejoicing when his son took something sharp and scratched it on the new car. This man saw it and out of anger, used the first thing he saw – a hammer, to smash his son’s hand. The boy screamed. Upon realising what he had done, the man rushed the boy to the hospital, where the doctor said the only solution was to amputate the boy’s fingers. The following day, he went to see the boy in the hospital and the boy said to him, “Daddy, when will my fingers grow again?” The man went back home with a very heavy heart. He then decided to go and check what the boy had written on the car anyway. The boy had written on the car, “Daddy, I love you”. The man was so devastated that he committed suicide. Anger is temporary madness; that is why you hear people say, “I was mad with him” and they say it with pride. If you really want to fulfil your destiny, you have to deal with anger in your life. He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. – Proverbs 16:32 Rule your spirit. Don’t let anger bring you down. #Ndlifestudios

"While we all bear responsibility for the words we choose to use (and I have the utmost respect for Prof Soyinka and Dr. Datti-Ahmed), I caution again, however, that there will always be different voices with different beliefs in a democracy. "These voices are NOT illegitimate simply because we disagree with them or they do not agree either with our political preferences or with whatever manner in which we choose to express our views. This applies across the board to the supporters of ALL the leading candidates.

The Labor Party Presidential Campaign Council (LP-PCC) has accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of orchestrating a campaign to discredit and delegitimize its presidential candidate, Peter Obi. The LP-PCC alleges that this campaign is aimed at forcing Obi to abandon his right to seek legal redress over the outcome of the election, which was deemed unfair and lacking in credibility by both local and international observers. Despite the pressure on Obi, the LP-PCC insists that he has no intention of leaving the country at this time. The LP-PCC in a statement yesterday said "We continue to thank all Nigerians, especially the youths and Obidients as they have remained focused on the core mission of a New Nigeria That Is Possible, even after the presidential elections of February 25, 2023. “Before, throughout and after the campaigns, it is on record that Mr Obi maintained his commitment and focus on an issues-based campaign, about a New Nigeria that is possible, a shift of emphasis from consumption to production, as well as a New Nigeria characterised by inclusion, justice, equity, fairness and prosperity. ”He repeatedly stated that no one should vote for him based on tribe or religion, but rather on the assessment of character, competence, capacity, credibility and compassion. “Most unfortunately, in the past few weeks, Mr Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate in the February 25, 2023, presidential election, has been contacted by associates, elder statesmen, family and friends with concerns for his personality. ”These concerns have increased intensely in the last few days as immense pressure, has been mounted directly on Mr Obi to leave the country, no doubt, from sources allied to the APC and its agents in the security services. ” Mr Obi has been repeatedly and categorically told that he has a choice to leave Nigeria or face the prospect of being arrested on false charges of inciting insurrection in the country. “It is difficult to fathom and regrettably unfortunate that state institutions have become part of a well calculated, deliberate and orchestrated campaign of calumny by the APC to discredit and delegitimize Mr Peter Obi and compel him to abandon his right to seek redress in court, following the outcome of the last election which was adjudged both locally and internationally to have failed to meet any standard of credibility or fairness. “As part of the grand design, they are circulating a fake, doctored audio call. At no time throughout the campaign and now did Mr Obi ever say, think or even imply that the 2023 election is or was a religious war. ”It is very sad and wicked the attempts to manipulate Nigerians. Our legal team have been instructed to take appropriate legal actions against the media outlets that make themselves willing tools in the hands of APC’s malicious propagandists. “Despite the public denunciation of the fake audio call, its contents have been translated to other Nigerian languages and circulated in most parts of Northern Nigeria with some of our Muslim clerics deceived and instigated to use the contents for their sermons at various Mosques during the usual Friday prayers. ”This is a dangerous development at a time the APC led-government and the APC party which have been awarded undeserved and unfair victory should be more concerned in addressing the ethnic and religious frictions unfortunately created by the outcome of the elections. “Yet unsatisfied but determined to cause more problems, Mr Lai Mohammed, who fancies himself as modern-day Goebbels is on a tour of some selected countries to present an alternative story about the 2023 discredited election. “There are many more campaigns of calumny against Mr Obi planned for the near future, both before and during the court process. However, we want to make it clear to the APC party, APC led-government and its agents that Mr Obi, a widely travelled man, has no intention to leave the country at this time, irrespective of the pressure on him and his family. “ Nigerians and the international community to caution APC and the APC led-government to stop their nasty attacks, Mr. Obi’s focus and commitment to lawfully and peacefully retrieve our mandate to secure and unite our nation, take Nigeria from consumption to production, pull millions of Nigerians out of multidimensional poverty, especially in the North and jumpstart prosperity through agricultural, industrial and technological revolution remains unchanged. “He has continued to impress upon his supporters the essence of the legal process and will not now or in the future encourage any violence against the state. He has absolutely no reason for this nor desperate, especially as throughout the campaign, he called for a new Nigeria defined by opportunities for all, an end to poverty and criminality in government, especially corruption and an end to tribal and religious division and bigotry. “It is for this reason that we appeal to revered religious leaders, especially in the North, not to be part of the grand design of the state apparatus to further increase the religious and ethnic divide in the country. ”Irrespective of the outcome of the court process, we have the obligation to strive for the peace and co-existence of all Nigerians. We call on President Buhari to rein in his desperate officials at all levels as their actions or inactions could lead to unnecessary crises in the country. “Elections are over, and we are in court to retrieve our stolen mandate. We reiterate that we are doing so through all lawful and peaceful options in line with our legal system and constitution, and I continue to implore all Nigerians to remain peaceful and law-abiding. “Those fixated on heating up the polity, creating divisions, tensions and hatred within and outside Nigeria should remember that Nigeria is our only country. Our focus should be on how to address the litany of challenges facing us, such as deliberate non-adherence to the election process, the parlous state of our economy, unsustainable debt burden, lamentable unemployment and inflation, insecurity and multi-dimensional poverty. A new Nigeria is, indeed, possible and God will help us.” #News #BreakingNews #nigerianews #naijanews #newsfeed #news #NewNigeria #pulseviral #Obedient #newsalert #newsletter #NewsUpdate #Ndlifestudios

In the past few days, I have observed various campaigns of calumny directed at my person, with the latest being allegations attributed to the information Minister, Lai Mohammed from Washington DC. It is most unfortunate that these consistent efforts to portray me quite contrary to what I am, and my core values, is coming from such high quarters. Minister Lai accusing me of stoking insurrection is totally malicious and fictitious. I have never discussed or encouraged anyone to undermine the Nigerian state; I have never sponsored or preached any action against the Nigerian state. Those initiating these actions have increasingly used their official positions and agents to make false allegations against me. I am on record as always, advocating for peace and issue-based campaign and never campaigned based on ethnicity or religion. I am committed to due process, and presently seeking redress in the Court. I urge those engaged in this demarketing process to stop presenting Nigeria in such bad light. Our future generations deserve a new Nigeria, where they can live a secure and decent life like their counterparts in other climes. It is possible. #PeterObi 🇳🇬

Earlier today, I inaugurated the Board of the Anambra Internal Revenue Service (AIRS) with clear terms of reference and a task to increase the state's internally generated revenue. The Internal Revenue Service is the life-blood of all government operations, if it doesn't work, nothing works. The results of IGR are not even close to 50% of what we anticipated to achieve. We expected to have the revenue body double its initial revenue within its first four months, which did not happen. The Anambra state government should be making more than 3 billion naira per month, which is yet to happen, and the 2023 budget is expected to generate 4 billion naira per month, currently the State government is running a deficit on IGR. FAAC allocations are unpredictable, but we have an economy with an estimated value of up to 5 trillion naira. It is critical to highlight the enormous potentials that exist, as well as the appropriate benchmarks and targets. If we have a 5 trillion naira estimate and collect 1%, that is 60 billion naira per year. If we collect 2%, that's 120 billion naira per year, or a minimum of ten billion naira per month on average. If we receive 5% of income, we will have 300 billion naira per year. As of Monday, we were dangling around 1 billion naira per month, which is extremely low. You can see how far we are doing in relation to the potentials that exist. The internal revenue service requires a 180 percent turnaround. The current path we are taking will not get us very far because we have been trying it for a year. Members of this board must get to work right away because there is a lot of work ahead of them. We will interface and evaluate performance every three months. It will have a high mortality rate and a three-month life span. If this board fails, we will disband it and create a new one. Mr. Richard Madiebo is the Board Chairman. Executive Directors of the Board include Dr. Greg Ugochukwu Ezeilo (Anambra South), Dr. Christian Madubuko (Anambra North), Mr. Benjamin Anierobi Okafor (Anambra Central). Others include the Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Mrs Chiamaka Nnake, Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Ifeatu Onejeme, Commissioner for Lands, Prof. Ofornze Amucheazi, Commissioner for Transport, Mrs. Pat Igwebuike. More members of the Board include; Mr. Don Adizuo, Secretary/Head of Legal Dept., Mr. Chika Oformma, Head of Assessment and Mrs. Juliet Nwakpudolu, Head of High Net Individual Assessment Dept. May Anambra continue to win! CC. Soludo CFR.

SOLUDO'S ADMINISTRATION EXPRESSES ABSOLUTE COMMITMENT TOWARDS ENSURING A SUSTAINABLE CLEAN AND GREEN STATE. By Paul Nwosu. All roads lead to Ochanja Market, Onitsha on Friday, March 31st as Anambra State Governor, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, undertakes the landmark flag-off of the clean, green and sustainable programme in Anambra State. The drive toward a sustainable clean and green Anambra State is in line with the well-articulated people’s manifesto of Mr. Governor aimed at turning the homeland into a liveable, pleasurable and prosperous destination of choice. Governor Soludo who as ever leads by example will set the tone of clearing, evacuating and desilting the Anambra environment. After the Friday, March 31st flag-off by Governor Soludo in Ochanja Market, Onitsha, the launching of the sustainable clean and green Anambra State programme will be extended to the 21 local governments and 181 communities on Saturday, April 1st with the Deputy Governor, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim driving the charge. All the nooks and crannies of Anambra State will bear comprehensive witness of the sustainable clean and green revolution. With the effective launch of the clean, green and sustainable environment programme, it shall no longer be business as usual in Anambra State. The old way of just observing a sanitation day and letting refuse revert back to the streets and gutters will become a thing of the past. The open dumping of refuse will now be anathema in Anambra State. The earlier impunity of keeping the environment dirty will fizzle out for good. Now that proper waste management is on the front burner in the sustainable clean and green operation, it is incumbent on all Ndi-Anambra to hold fast to the great dictum that states: “Cleanliness is next to godliness.” There is in effect zero tolerance for flagrant dumping of refuse in Anambra State. The clearing and evacuation of clogged gutters will be undertaken with gusto to alleviate the concomitant danger of the offensive odour oozing from the gutters that may lead to the outbreak of diseases. The erstwhile eyesore of heaping mountains of refuse in the major streets of cities like Awka, Onitsha, Nnewi and Ekwulobia has of course been done away with for good. The significant improvement in refuse evacuation in the state makes it crucial for Ndi-Anambra across board to pay the requisite fees promptly. Desilting is imperative to clear the sand and mud clogging the highways and gutters through the flooding waters of the rainy season. The sustainable clean and green initiative by Governor Soludo will entail the planting of trees to maintain an unpolluted environment. The planted trees will go a long way in staving off erosion that is a clear and present danger to Anambra State. Incidentally, Anambra State has the smallest land mass amongst the states of Nigeria, with the exception of Lagos State. But then, while Lagos State is gaining more land through the reclamation of the ocean, Anambra State is losing its land to erosion. It is through the greening of the environment through massive tree planting that Anambra State can win the battle with erosion that is depleting all the land. Sustaining the clean and green ecosystem will kill off pollution that is a great danger in the cities of Anambra State such as Onitsha, Nnewi, Awka, Ekwulobia etc. The Anambra clean and green initiative will in due cause gain sustainability through planting trees by increasing the green areas, proper disposal of waste of every kind, checking the emission of vehicular gases, and removing plastics from wanton circulation etc. By conserving natural vegetation, trees, natural resources, and water, Anambra State will, as Governor Soludo had promised, become a liveable, pleasurable and prosperous homeland. Sir Paul Nwosu Commissioner for Information, Anambra State
