Did the Yorubas attack & insult other regions in 1999? Did they call Nigeria a zoo?

You lack the political capital and moral basis to be expecting political favors from those you insult & attack endlessly.

You're simply being delusional. We will never reward your post election defeat nonsense with our votes.
It's fallacious to generalize and stereotype every Igbo person as "attacking and insulting" other regions because it seems convenient for you politically at this point.

FFK have written against both the Northerners and Ndi Igbo, should we generalize his attacks and insults as coming from the Yoruba?

Ango Abdulahi and other prominent Northerners have severally vilified Ndi Igbo and other regions, should we also generalize his attacks and insults to be from the North?

Stop insulting when you lack knowledge of what you're saying.

AD was only established in 1998 just before the elections so you have no point (they hadn't ever rejected PDP like the SE totally rejected the APC) . The same way we had northern aspirants in APP & PDP is the same way they had in AD and PDP.

Keep in mind that nobody is barring any Ibo member from contesting the APC primaries. They just aren't getting any unanimous concession, not even by a wild shot.
Nobody is asking for a unanimous concession.

We're only asking for a repeat of the 1999 kinda "election" in the interest of equity.

So what do you make of APC's refusal to zone the Presidential ticket to any region (burying any idea of SE concession) as reported by your main contender himself, Orji Uzor Kalu after his meeting with IBB & Abdulsalam just last night?

2023: Concede presidency to South-East, says Umeh

By Unini Chioma -August 31, 2020
https://thenigerialawyer.com/2023-concede-presidency-to-south-east-says-umeh/

Former national chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Senator Victor Umeh said for the sake of unity of Nigeria, the South East should produce the president of Nigeria come 2023.

He pointed that the zone should not be denied the opportunity on historical basis regarding the Nigerian civil war.

Umeh told reporters at the reopening of the Enugu airport that all the zones in the South have produced leadership of the country except the South East.

He said: “It is wrong for the other parts of the country that have provided leadership to vie for it now. For example the South-West had Obasanjo who served 8 years. Their son is also Vice President now. The South-South have produced the president through Jonathan.

“South East is the remaining part of Southern Nigeria yet to take its slot. So on that basis we thank the president for the work he had done on the Enugu Airport and other infrastructures in the South East – roads and second Niger Bridge. But none is more important than closing the gap by making the South East produce the best president for Nigeria in 2023. Let’s not play politics with that.

“Somebody had told me that the APC is weak in the South-East. And I asked the person what was the strength of the PDP in South-West in 1999 when Obasanjo became the president. The PDP had no councilor in the whole of Southwest. Alliance for Democracy had everything in the Southwest. But due to the exigency to accommodate the Southwest in the presidency, Obasanjo was elected even though he lost in his polling unit in his local government.”

He posited that the situation in the Southeast now is better than then in the Southwest.

He said: “How much more now that the APC is controlling a state in the Southeast, in Imo. And they have others elected as senators and House of Representative members. That argument is no longer tenable.

“They need to make it a policy that the Southeast should provide the leadership of Nigeria in 2023. It is not that we will die if don’t produce the president of Nigeria in 2023. But it is for the country to be truly united. What goes around should come around.

“And we have intellectuals, technocrats and the best people that can provide quality leadership to Nigeria if given the opportunity. So all parts of Nigeria should support the Southeast to produce the president in 2023. Across all the political parties, let there be no contest. The way they did in 1999 where Alliance for Democracy and APP produced Olu Falae and PDP produced Obasanjo. You can see that in 1999 the Southwest were the only people that contested for the presidency in Nigeria. So this is not a new thing. It’s been there. We have antecedents.

“The Southeast has capable people in abundance to lead Nigeria. The need to concede the presidency to the Southeast unassailable at this point and when you are looking for such a material, we have them in abundance.”

Lol, Goodluck to Ibos then

Truth is except a miracle happens, the conservative Northern Nigerians are generally wary of Ibos and now they’ve made the relatively liberal Yorubas a political enemy, so I wonder where the votes for the ibo president will be coming from
you should know that, even amongst the Politicians, some northerners and south Westerners are still very close friends to some Ndi Igbo that they can even entrust their life to them.

They need not like everybody. But, there must be somebody they like and can trust.

PoliticsCovid-19: Senator Victor Umeh Donates N2M To Anambra State COVID-19 Support Fund by Udopasa(op): 7:16am On Apr 01, 2020
The Senator that represented Anambra Central in the 8th Senate, and former national Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Senator Sir Victor Umeh has donated the sum of two million naira to Anambra state government to help its fight against the spread of coronavirus in the state.

According to Senator Umeh, “We have seen what is happening all over the world with the coronavirus pandemic. Most nations are struggling to cope with the devastating effects of the pandemic on families and on the economy. Our Governor, His Excellency, Chief Willie Obiano has shown commitment in his resolve to protect Ndi Anambra”.

Senator Umeh commended the Governor for introducing an economic stimulus package to cushion the effects of the pandemic on Ndi Anambra, and providing vital medical equipment for the isolation centres. “The government can not do this alone. That’s why we have to donate money or even materials as this concerns all of us”, he said.

Continuing, Senator Umeh called on Ndi Anambra as well as corporate organisations operating in the state to support the government’s efforts, “We can see that Lagos state, despite their privileged status as an economic powerhouse in Nigeria, are calling for and are receiving huge support by way of monetary and material contributions from individuals and corporate organisations to help their COVID-19 response efforts. This is commendable and i believe Ndi Anambra will listen and support the state government’s COVID-19 efforts’, Senator Umeh concluded.
