The Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has formally directed that the appellations: “His Excellency” and “Executive”, be dropped in all official and informal communications with him.

He said he would rather prefer to be addressed simply as “Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, Governor of Abia State”.

A statement Friday by the governor’s spokesperson, Godwin Adindu, said,”The governor wants all public communication to be concentrated on the work and policies of the state and not on the person of the governor and has therefore directed all contractors, political groups, individuals and party loyalists not to put his portrait on billboards, posters and signages but to ONLY use the pictures of ongoing projects in their billboards and posters.

You know that magical number of nookies you always reduce because if you say the actual number, your mother might have a heart attack. If you’re a woman, think of all the people you’ve ever been with right from the very day your cherry was popped, that’s your body count. In this instance, almost doesn’t count. “We kissed and almost did it but we didnt” is not part of your body count.

Now, that you know what a body count is, get to it. Start counting.

Are you still counting? What? Wait first. You mean your fingers aren’t enough. Oya, use your t oes. You need another sheet of A4 paper? Wow! Don’t worry I won’t tell your mummy but you’ve been a very busy child sha. Well done. You hear.

I don’t think there has ever been a Nigerian woman that has been honest about her body count. Ok, maybe there has but many lie, adjust and fudge the number.

And do you blame them? When there are so many self appointed judges ready to throw them into hell for having the temerity to sleep with more than one man, do you blame them for lying?

I’ve always wondered why it’s easy for a man to get away with an astronomical number of shags but a woman can’t.

Anything over 20, and you’re labelled a scarlet woman for life.

Did your eyes pop open at 20? What about 30? Too high a number? Bleh…what does it matter? As long as the present lay isn’t the right one, what are you doing to do? You’re going to keep racking up the numbers till you get it right, right?

A guy is quick to call a lady a slut once he knows she’s been with one, two or three other people and because the only insult more offensive than being called a murderer to a woman is to be called a slut.

Better lie and adjust sharply if you are ever asked your body count.

These Nigerian men don’t need honest women. Don’t be testing yourself. Shave those numbers off.

If you can’t be a virgin, at least let your body count be in single digits.

I haven’t determined if MouthAction without actual coitus can be factored into your body count, I’d find out and let you guys know.

Just remember that while you’re racking up that body count and getting those numbers up, the way you wouldn’t bury a body without a shovel is the same way you shouldn’t bury ’em bodies without a condom.

You see, there are people who like my favorite writer, Shakespeare said of; "Some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them". Among the trio, I dare to say that Ben Bruce has greatness thrusted upon him.

The only dream this man had was to be a great entrepreneur which we can't deny him of haven achieved even beyond his expectation. The surprise of becoming a Senator is yet to dawn on him and still in the euphoria, he has turned to a talkative. He has not seen real money like the NASS members have seen, hence he can talk anyhow, Wait until N500 million which he never sweated for is taken to him at night as lobby for no work done, and let's see if his sudden morality will not take flight. Real men who have seen money won't talk like him.

Here was a man who contested for the PDP Governorship and lost out in the primaries, He has given up on politics when he decided to try a lesser position as told him by President Goodluck Jonathan, which made him win the election.

Still surprised that he will now mount the Red Chambers, addressed as a distinguished Senator and make unlawful laws for us, he has decided to act the CHANGE play and win himself into the hearts of the youths. But thank God, my active youths were quick to read his game and bashed him, yet he won't give up.

Let us bow dissect this man called Bruce. Where was he all these years that his kinsman, Uncle Joe strutted the political firmament like a cat that has 9 lives and would never die? Where was he all these while to advise his brother who ran the most corrupt enterprise called governance in Nigeria history? Tell us, where went his voice when his brother and co-senators looted the treasury blind?

Of course he kept quiet cause he was benefiting from the corrupt PDP government who gave him over-inflated contracts to build his Silver Bird cinemas all over the country, with Gov. Devilswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State being his biggest maga. The once dumb BB has finally found his voice and wants to advise President Muhammadu Buhari.

Can someone tell this sudden change activist that he should just keep quiet like Ngozi Okonjo Iweala and keep his advise to himself. Others may have forgotten but we cannot forget how he got N8 billion contract as NTA DG to refurbish the station and the money disappeared. Few months later, he set up Rhythm FM and Silverbird, obviously from the diverted N8 billion. He should account for this.

Others may forget, but I can't. Where is the N33 billion contract given him by Akpabio to build a world class Tropicana in Uyo, but rather built what is not up to N1 billion. I present to us the original plan of what the N33 billion was meant to build but never saw the daylight. This hypocrite should just park well and allow men who have been talking to talk. I am glad that he is not welcome by the youths. In communication, we call it Negative feedback and he got it in doze. He should channel his energy to advise his kinsman in Otuoke when he leaves.

The wife of former Manchester United and England footballer Rio Ferdinand has died from cancer. The QPR defender, 36, released a statement saying his "wonderful wife and soul mate" Rebecca Ellison had "passed away peacefully" at a London hospital. Following the mayhem that occurred in the Governorship and State House of Assembly elections in Akwa Ibom state, the governor-elect of the PDP, Mr. Udom Emmanuel has promised to welcome egalitarianism when sworn in on May 29.

Mr. Emmanuel assured to govern the state with the fear of God and run an all-inclusive government that would carter for the general welfare of all Akwa Ibom people irrespective of party affiliations.
He said this in an interview yesterday with newsmen in Uyo. Mr. Emmanuel vowed that his administration would not discriminate against those who opposed him during the campaigns whether within or outside the party.

The governor-elect maintained that differences in party affiliations would not be considered in the delivery of democracy dividend to the people as everyone in the state were entitled to benefit from the resources accruing to the state.

He said; “Of course I will be governor of all irrespective of political party affiliations because we are all Akwa Ibom people and brothers and entitled to the benefits that accrue to this land. The political parties are mere platforms for each and every one of us to aspire to serve the people and whoever wins is entitled to treat everybody as equals.”

On strategies to address the dwindling fortunes of the PDP in the country, Emmanuel expressed belief that the party would recover from its recent misfortune in the polls attributing the recent loss in the Presidential elections to non-party issues.

“We lost not due to internal crisis within the party because every organization have their fair share of problems, we lost due to some other social issues I will not mention here but I am confident that the party will recover from this and become stronger in the nearest future,” he said.

Governor-Elect of Akwa Ibom, Mr. Udom Emmanuel recorded a total of 996,071 votes to defeat the All Progressive Congress candidate, Mr Umana Umana who polled a total of 89,865 votes to come a distant second.

We do not want to be too quick to judge and
crucify the President Elect, Gen. Muhammadu
Buhari, since we gave Jonathan one and half
years before calling for his head mildly until it
increased two years later. Beside, it is unkind to
begin to pull down a government you helped to
campaign for in your own little way. But before a
seemingly mistake becomes a norm, we have to
draw attention to it.
What was Buhari thinking when he chose former
governor of Bayelsa State, Timpre Sylva to head
the Inaugural committee? Is he unaware that his
chosen man has a case of fraud hanging on his
neck and battling it out with the EFCC. Let no
one come here to say Sylva predicament is
caused by the FG, who is bent on nailing him.
The truth of it is that he looted his State treasury
as a governor.
If this super corrupt thief is the best among the
lots in APC, I'm afraid to say that we have just
enthroned corruption garbed in the robe of
morality and thorny crown of integrity.
The early sign of a good house that will stand
the test of time is seen from the foundation.
Unfortunately, the inaugural is the foundation of
GMB government and the Chief Builder, Sylva, is
not fit to drive the process. Or are we seeing the
return of a brain drained President.
Buhari just have to prove us wrong and now.
