debosky:Dear debosky and others with like mind, I am not the one insulting your intelligence as much as your own people who have turned the Etteh issue into an ethnic matter and calling press conferences to make the stand of the Yorubas known. And I have not seen any Yoruba call a press conference to the contrary to say that Adedibu, Bode George, Fasehun are not speaking for the Yorubas. These have been your spokepersons, so I cannot help but believe that they are speaking for the Yorubas. None of the elders that you speak about has come out to denounce what Etteh has done. There was general outrage when the news leaked about the inflated contract. Who turned it into an ethnic issue but the Yorubas? I maintain my stand . No apologies. |
jeanbro:jeanbro at it again, doing what he knows how to do best. Carry gooooo. Lady Ti, you dey see omoza? |
@debosky, but the Yoruba fathers are rising up to support her, it has become a Yoruba versus other ethnic groups matter. I am from the Niger Delta and I know the role the Yorubas played in the Niger Delta issues. But their double speak always amazes me. And they are the ones who have made it an ethnic issue, specifically, a Yoruba issue. |
I am living in Nigeria with my unique Nigerian problems. One of which is daily gunfire on the streets, at risk from armed robbers, at risk from beggars, at risk from hawkers, at risk from okada riders, at risk from hunger. To be very honest with you, another gunfire in an American school is the least of my problems. Those people don chop belleful. Period. |
As for me and my house, we are waiting for how this Etteh farce will play out, especially with the new dimension it's taking, with the Frederick Fasehuns and Bode Georges of the great Yoruba race rising up to support this great Yoruba product. Make we dey look am. |
Same old story, same old song. No matter how many times it happens, it's going to happen again. Another one will still bite the dust. When will men learn? Tuck it in, like someone said, use a condom, if you must. Exercise caution, please. Too many unplanned children. |
This is an old story and I don't see why all of us who are 'unfortunate' enough to live in Nigeria should be culpable for the loss of one man's car design? Yes it's a great loss, but manuscripts get stolen, houses burn down, someone said the richest place in the world is the cemetry because that is where dead dreams reside. How can it not be well with Nigeria because of the theft of a car design? I fearooooooo. |
adebisi1:Ah, ah, why all the abuse. Tell us what the guy did. This is incomprehensible. I think Seun has to start an abuses forum. In fact there should be a forum for people to let out steam and scream at one another. Properties forum is too serious for people to turn up and abuse themselves. In fact, Seun, delete this thread. It's senseless. |
@jeanbro. Ok, babes, make I go try but in camera. I go give you feedback tomorrow. Hmmmmmmm. Na true. Lagbaja nothing for you. Sorry bros, e no work. |
Please check out this link https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-44159.0.html I think this should have been in the jokes section, although I cannot tell whether it started as a joke or the poster was serious. Your guess is as good as mine. |
jeanbro:OK, we are all deviating here. But we just dey try to help you. You want me to gang up against my own sis? No way. You never hear say, blood is thicker than afro, sorry water. ![]() |
jiddah:Absolutely. That was when I fell in love with her and started trying to deconstruct her. And Karl, that S.O.B, what a mischief maker. |
Friends. Favorite character is Rachel. |
Lady-Ti:E no bad o my sista, only say I no know whether the guy go fit handle waffi girl. She fit tear all that im hair commot. Anyhow, sha, nothing spoil. Make we help our small brother as im don claim waffi by nature. At least that will get him off your back. Ehen, in fact, there's one other waffi girl for this nairaland, ufobabe. I sure say that girl go suit am well, well. Make we go meet am. |
Lady-Ti:O girl, you should have let the guy stew. Let him keep hallucinating. |
Osanobua! Uzor, you wan turn my head? I no know how to speak in riddles. |
niceuzor:I think say we been dey chat? ![]() |
Niceuzor, you don land? |
I am definitely bookmarking this. I have not laughed so hard in a long time. Meeeen. Some crazies out there. |
chiboyz:Shuo, this chiboyz still dey here dey toast babe when e dey tell us for another thread say e don impregnate im best friend girlfriend. This guy serious at all? E be like say the boy dey play us OOO! |
chiboyz:My brother I think you should have seriously considered this before having one too many and laying your best friend's girlfriend. This is a real dilemma and all I can say is that you are going to face a lot of flak for it. You will just have to live with it and accept that it was a big mistake. Your friendship with your friend will never be the same if it survives, because you betrayed him. I will not advise marriage if you are not that keen on the girl. Take it one day at a time. Things will not sort themselves out overnight but you will learn to live with yourself and this mistake you made. Take it like a man. There is nothing new under the sun. And you cannot shirk your responsibilities to the child if she insists on having it. |
nuzo:Ouch. That's got to hurt. This is NAIRALAND! @ mellow, nice words. God grant us the serenity to accept the things we cannot change, courage to change the things we can and wisdom to know the difference. |
A lot of things happen in the UK. I remember the Valentine's day, 2005, when the Pakistani guy strangled and put his wife in a suitcase and lied that he dropped her off at the salon and they were supposed to go for a romantic dinner that night and she had gone missing. I also remember in the same 2005 or 06 when a guy killed his girlfriend on Valentine's day and came on tv crying and begging her to come back and showing the whole world the gifts he had bought her. A lot of things go on with these people. But did Jerry and Kate do it? I don't think so. I really really don't think so. Even it's proven that they did it, I still won't believe it. My personal opinion. |
naijaborn:Another irrational nairalander with a penchant for picking fights that are not his own. What's your own when the combatants have made peace? |
jeanbro:I hope say you know where I come from O. I be wafi girl O. And you sef you be like wafi boy with that your hair. While you are at it, go cut your hair. I see wetin Lady Ti talk, about monkey and banana. ![]() |
jeanbro, sweetheart, can't I talk to my sister Lady Ti, again? Abi you see your name for there? Which ones? ![]() |
sylvao2000:Another war brewing. OK, sweetie. You know this woman is hurting and you don't have to add to her stress by saying she should know how to take care of her home. That's not very kind. That's what got me angry. I no like fight. So kiss and make up. |
