The Apex Igbo socio-political organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo on Saturday lambasted the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi for saying the South East can’t produce President Muhammadu Buhari’s successor in 2023.

Deputy National Publicity Secretary of Ohanaeze, Chuks Ibegbu in an interview said Amaechi is not God as such can’t decide the political future of the region.

Amaechi had asserted that the South East can’t demand for the presidency in 2023 because the region failed to vote for Buhari in the just concluded presidential election.

Politics / Buhari Went To Saudi Arabia For Medical Check Up- Nnamdi Kanu by Ugobestikyblog(m): 6:07pm On May 17, 2019
Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has stated that President Muhammadu Buhari left the country to attend to his health.

The presidency had stated that Buhari left for Saudi Arabia following the invitation by King Salman Bin Abdulaziz, the king of Saudi Arabia and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

A statement by his spokesman, Malam Garba Shehu, confirmed that President Buhari would perform the Umrah (lesser pilgrimage) while in the Kingdom.

In his latest broadcast, Kanu alleged that Buhari went for his “periodic” treatment.

He said’: “Jubril Al-Sudani the criminally imported impostor has recently returned from his surgery enhancement in the UK but unfortunately for them he did not travel with his make-up artist because anybody that saw his pictures as he disembarked from the aircraft will know there is something definitely wrong with Nigerians and their eyesight.

Jubril is now looking as young as Yusuf his adopted son. Please take a look at the picture of the Sudanese most people ignorantly call Buhari to see how daft most Nigerians are. Please put that picture on my official Facebook wall and also share it extensively.

Jubril went for his periodic bodywork & overhauling. He did so without official handover to Osinbajo as stipulated in their constitution but you have a country, seemingly full of intellectuals but rather populated with cowards who can longer see or hear any evil. This is the man they are planning to swear in on the 29th of this May with the knowledge that he is a confirmed certificate forgery.

“Verifiable evidence after evidence has been presented to the general public and the Judiciary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and her citizens on the forgery of Buhari’s certificate but they will still go

Politics / Atiku Vs Buhari: Presidential Election Outcome Today (wednesday) by Ugobestikyblog(m): 4:18pm On May 15, 2019
The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal has fixed May 22 to entertain an application seeking Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa to recuse herself from sitting over the five-man panel on the election following alleged fear of preconceived bias.

The court had fixed Wednesday to begin pre-hearing session on the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, challenging the outcome of the February 23 presidential election.

Bulkachua, also the President of the Court of Appeal, adjourned proceedings on the matter to allow the two petitioners file a formal application against her membership of the panel.

Earlier, Dr Levy Uzoukwu SAN, Counsel for both PDP and Abubakar, filed an oral application to be granted permission for all counsel to meet with the members of the panel in Chambers.

Bulkachua went ahead to grant the request by ordering a stand down on the matter.

Upon their arrival from chambers, Bulkachua immediately disclosed in the open court the informal call by the petitioners for her to withdraw from participating in the hearing of their petition.

She however said such an action must be formally placed before the court through an application that should be argued by all parties.

“The counsel for the two petitioners have raised an issue in chambers directing me to recuse myself from hearing their petition.

“This matter has initially been brought to my attention in a letter from the office of the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, dated May 8.

“Their request is now in a public domain, but the counsel for the petitioners must approach the court with a formal application,” she said.

We reported that PDP and its presidential candidate in the Feb 23 general election are before the tribunal to challenge the outcome of the election.

In another development, the tribunal granted Coalition for Change (C4C) and its presidential candidate, Geff Ojinika permission to serve President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo with their petition through substituted means.

Bulkachua granted the leave following an exparte application brought to it by the applicants.

“The applicants are hereby granted leave to serve president Buhari and vice president Osinbajo with the petition challenging their victory through substituted means.

“The first and second respondents should be served via the National Secretariat of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in No.40 Blantyre Crescent, Wuse II, Abuja.”

We reports that the C4C and its presidential candidate had informed the court on their difficulty in serving their petition on Buhari and Osinbajo.

Politics / Nigeria Will Never Have Peace Until An Igbo Becomes President- Jim Nwobodo by Ugobestikyblog(m): 8:13am On May 13, 2019
Former Governor of old Anambra State, Jim Nwobodo, has revealed why Nigeria will never have peace.

Nwobodo said peace will continue to elude Nigeria until somebody from the Igbo extraction is allowed to become president.

Speaking in Enugu yesterday at his 79th birthday event, Nwobodo said the South East must be allowed to produce Nigeria’s President 2023.

He lamented that the South East was being relegated in the country’s power equation.

The former governor warned that because Nigeria has failed to recognise justice and fairness, it would continue to lag behind in development.

He said: “Peace will always elude Nigeria because it has decided to pay lip service to justice and fairplay in its power equation.”

“Let the Igbo have their turn at the presidency and development will come; peace will come and you will

Politics / Atiku Vs Buhari: Appeal Court President, Bulkachuwa Asked To Step Down by Ugobestikyblog(m): 7:47am On May 13, 2019
A group, Access to Justice, on Sunday asked President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Zainab Adamu Bulkachuwa, to step down from the Election Tribunal hearing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Atiku Abubakar’s petition against the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari. This was contained in a statement on by its Convener, Joseph Otteh.

The justice advocacy group said this had become necessary as the Bulkachuwa is married to a Senator-elect on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Mohammed Bulkachuwa.

Otteh’s statement read: “Of late, there have been strong speculations that the Buhari government is heavily invested in efforts to achieve the best possible outcomes from electoral courts in any election litigation involving the ruling party through any means possible.

“Many believe this is the reason the government worked hand in glove with the Code of Conduct Tribunal and removed Justice Walter Onnoghen from office as Chief Justice of Nigeria applying bizarre legal procedures. The dust has not settled from that incident.

“The Court of Appeal President, Hon. Justice Zainab Adamu Bulkachuwa is married to a Senator of the ruling APC and she has not publicly denied this claim. We note that the Court of Appeal President is not however sitting on an election petition involving her spouse personally but that involving her spouse’s political party and platform.

“In ordinary circumstances, there would be no question of whether the President of the Court of Appeal can, or should participate in tribunals adjudicating election petitions involving her spouse’s party. But these are no ordinary or normal times.“The Nigerian judiciary is facing very heightened levels of public scrutiny, and the... Elder statesman and former Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Abubakar Tsav, has said that Nigeria would have been among developed nations if it had tapped the inventions of Biafra after the civil war.

According to him, failure to accept the Biafran technology after the war and the successive corrupt leadership Nigeria has had over the years have been responsible for the country’s poor development indices.

In an interview Tsav said: “I only pray that people who are coming now are those who have the interest of the people at heart and are God-fearing; they are not just there to make money, but are there to serve the nation.

“Since the end of the civil war, we have not been progressing as a nation because during the civil war for instance, when the Biafrans were confined to their territory, they had no option than to device a means of survival and they were able to manufacture bombs, mines, refine

“I didn’t have any operation; more so, the bullion van which I was using was grounded on that date,’’ he said.

Politics / Biafra: Ohanaeze, South East Governors Working For ‘fulani Masters’ – IPOB Alleg by Ugobestikyblog(m): 2:46pm On May 10, 2019
The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on Friday accused the apex Igbo socio-political organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Ala-Igbo Development Foundation, ADF, and South East Governors Forum of working for “Fulani master.”IPOB alleged that the groups were working for their Fulani masters against the interest of the people of the South East.

In a statement signed by its spokesperson, Emma Powerful, the separatist group faulted the decision of the group to counter its May 30 sit-at-home order.

The statement reads partly: “It is unfortunate that this same collection of meaningless Igbo groups like Ohaneze Ndigbo, Ala-Igbo Development Foundation (ADF) and South East Governors Forum would prefer to be always serving their Fulani masters than to be in good relationship with their own people.

For the information of these Abuja slaves, 30th of May is not an Igbo affair alone, it is a Biafra wide commemoration of our heroes and that includes Philip Effiong the last Biafran head of state who is not an Igbo man.“These compromised and useless Igbo groups should for once realize the truth that IPOB is the people and the people is IPOB.

No amount of patronising press statement or attention seeking headline in the newspapers will stop total lockdown on May 30th.“These traitors should hide their pride and appreciate what the global family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) ably led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has done for Igbo people in particular and Biafrans in general towards organizing and establishing an annual event like this, to honour and remember our past heroes and heroines who paid the ultimate price for this generation to be alive today.“

Chief Ademola Odunade, President of a Mapo Customary Court in Ibadan, on Wednesday dissolved a two year-old marriage between one Raphael Olufemi-Abdullah and Tina over childlessness, adulterous lifestyle and stealing.

The petitioner, Raphael, a civil servant and a resident of No. 4 Oseni Street, Elere-Apata in Ibadan, said that his wife’s adulterous lifestyle was the bane of her infertility.

“After our lavishly celebrated wedding in February 2017, I did everything humanly possible to ensure that Tina conceives, but it was all futile.

“In the hospital, I was specifically told that Tina had aborted pregnancies and that in fact, some sexual infections were preventing her from being productive.
