My fellow citizens,i'm back,i never left though, just joined the readers Association. The PM should not talk too much. cheesy cheesy

As advised, i evaluated my ATS and its back as a college level certificate (1 year) and scores pumped to 468.If you have ATS please go ahead to evaluate it as it will boost your scores

7 years on,this same ATS has propelled my dream as i have been sitting in 435 score since December.

We never know why somethings happen to us in life but in the nearest future you will look back and say "GOD i see what you did there'. This is so true

Congratulations to all the PPR clinchers.I've taken my dive into the pool from a cliff and enjoying the mesmerizing feeling of the pool.Patiently waiting for the next draw.Team #468

My prayer is that God will settle everyone of us.

Hello everyone

A very active silent reader here

Below is my timeline so far

ITA....... Feb 7 2018
AOR.....March 7 2018
MEP/Ip1..March 14th
PPR..... April 26th

We have 15 days to submit to Accra but hubby has a training on the 11th of May in France. Please advice should we raise cse for an extension or risk it and submit

Thank you all

Hello sis, u have to weigh your options.
Which is more important to u? The trip or d visa?

You could also call/email Ghana for an extension. Copy Ottawa in d email. U have from now till 10th to wait a response.....
If u don't get an extension, then u may choose to cancel d trip

If I remember correctly, @ Cochtrane had a similar issue...ask him.

Thanks cochtrane.

Yes, I will use the NYSC.

@GlitteringStar, @cochtrane: Please pardon me, I have one more inquiry. Just to confirm this scenario, if I have have more than 3 years work experience in only one NOC where:

1. Company A: 1-year NYSC (NOC Code 4121)
2. Company B: 11 months (with NOC code 4121)
3. Company C: 7 months (with NOC code 4121)
4. Company D: 10 months (with NOC code 4121)

Since my work experience is in only one NOC (4121);

1. In my EE profile under work history, I will add all the four (4) jobs as stated above.
2. Because I intend to use NYSC only, will I need to submit reference letters for NYSC only (from Company A only)? Or I still need to submit references for ALL jobs as they are all in the same NOC?

Thank you ALL.

Hiyee.
If u intend to use only NYSC, then put only d nysc job under work history in d EE profile. That way, u will get only 1 placeholder to upload reference If/when u receive ITA. But in d post ITA form, u will have to fill in d rest jobs under your personal history....no reference would be required then.

Alright, so I can go ahead and declare him now, then include madam later (at any stage of the EE process).

Meanwhile, wrt points reduction, at what stage can I add her, such that I won't need to recalculate points?

Thank you.

Holla. If u have read d experiences of older members, u would have a fair idea how to go about this.
Pls check the moniker of "Esosa4real"...read his timelines and see how he added his wife.
There are so many other guys who did likewise.

My suggestion is this..
Declare your son from the onset.

When u get an ITA, You will be required to show funds and medicals for him and consent from his mum.

Marry her after you have submitted and have AOR...
By so doing, your scores wouldn't be recalculated. Rather u will get ADR for her pcc, medical and funds.

Like I always say, pls read d older parts of this thread. Use d search button and type key words of your peculiarities. I believe almost every possible scenario has been encountered on this thread
Best of luck sir.

Cheers.

Do you think you would be able to liquidate your Tbill cert from Canny land? Or you would just wait for maturity date to access funds?

Hello dear,
I will allow d Tbill to mature cos if I crash/liquidate it, I will definitely loose kool cash. I have online apps to use for transfers.
So since my mum is coming later in d year, I will have her buy dollars with it and bring along.

Hello from the other side....
Sorry I have been away so long...
Sorry I have a very long gist for u guys....
Congrats to every ITA/PPR/VOH/Landing gist/New jobs gusts that came in in my absence.

God bless us all and may it end in praise.

LANDING GIST

I have nothing to say but that I am so grateful to God.
My story isn't complete even at today but soon and very soon, it shall be.

The call to migrate to Canada started from ma mum in 2013....

The vision to migrate to Canada started following a reminder by my mum in june 2015.

The works started when we began studying d entire EE system/process in July 2015.

The race started when we took the first leap by paying for ECA by WES(for DH) and MCC(for me)

Wrote first IELTS may 2016...L7.5/R8/S7.5/W7
CRS 382.
Wrote 2nd IELTS August 2016 L9/R7.5/S7/W6.5
I didn't bother checking d CRS .
I immediately requested a remark(EOR for reading, listening and speaking.) on 13sept 2016....
It took approx 14weeks ..
I was able to calmly wait it out cos draw cut off was in d high 460s....
I got an EOR upgrade on 28th Dec 2016.
Speaking increased to 7.5, writing increased to 7 ....reading unchanged.

Now time to swim....I made some mistakes while changing d IELTS scores...
Next thing I got a mail dat my profile had become ineligible....
I just tire. I abandoned d profile as crs was still too high. I considered waiting for its to add his masters...it will only add 2 marks and still keep us below 450.

Late January 2017 crs started falling and I quickly created another profile and entered pool 24th January 2017

February 8 2017 crs crashed to 447....I was near. Nearly cannot kill a bird.
February 22 cut off was 441. I got in on 443.

document gathering, submission, anxiety in d waiting time...etc. all those are now history .

PPR came 103 days later on July 24th.
Visa came in August I think 28th.
Tickets bought October 10...
Preparations, resignations, clearance sales, severance, etc wasn't just easy.

Why Saskatoon? I honestly can't say but I know God has gone ahead of us.

So 28th march came, my family members took us to d airport....nnamdi azikiwe .
I am not so emotional but I lost some tears when my househelp broke down wailing...

First at d entrance, my bottles of oil.
The officer argued with me about my oil fried egusi...well her oga allowed it pass.

Some guys claiming agriculture tried to corner us dat our bags were too many and looked like we are exporting.
Nothing for them. We passed without dropping.

We had 8 heavy bags. Total overweight was by 27kg. We reached and paid for 1 extra luggage
We were almost d last to enter d plane.

The kids slept more than 80% of d entire journey....
I didn't have to give them any help with that o.‍♀‍♀
I was exhausted and sleep a lot too.

We got to Pearson Intl airport Toronto at 8am and immigration was a breeze. But we were asked to show d balance POF. ( so guys always be ready) We showed an updated Tbill cert.
She did say d magic "welkom to canada"
We proceeded to Service Canada and got d SIN done too. We got another welkom to Canada smile.

Went to cbsa and gave d goods to follow list.....I sensed we were going to be searched and I was getting worried we will miss our flight( because a friend was waiting at saskatoon)
Miraculously, my 4yr old broke into a frenzy .....she wanted to poo
"Mummy I need to use d toilet right now pls"
"Mummy plsss...I don't want to poo on my body"
"Mummy remember u forgot to put extra jeans for me"
Mummy I can't hold it ooo.
She was crying seriously and all of us were confused.
Na so cbsa officer look me again and said.
Madam do u have meat,? No sir. Dairy? No sir, I knw d law..what of vegetables? Dried onugbu, okazi, uziza and utazi..
Ok ok ma'am, d exit is thru that door, ask for directions to d convenience....‍♀‍♀‍♀‍♀

We got outside and ma dauta was thrilled by d sight and when I asked her about pooing she said "eehhmm mummy I think it's gone. I don't want to poo again.‍♀‍♀

We checked into AIR Canada just on tym and boarding started shortly....
At d entrance to d craft, I realized we forgot our stroller. It was checked in frm Abuja. We didn't claim it at baggage. It was too late and too far to go back...I was too tired to care.

We all slept soundly thru the 3.30hrs flight from toronto to saskatoon. No one asked me for food among my kids.

My friend and an Anglican priest were waiting for us. So was d cold. Temperature was about -17°.

I was super excited to find my stroller right beside other luggage... they had tracked it to us....if it were naija

We drove frm airport to our apartment...
We were welkom with a week supply of cooked stew, soup and groceries. Courtesy of my friend.

We went to get a line few hrs later....my dual sim samsung fone worked!!!! I got A virgin mobile byod for 58/mnth 5g free txt n call canadawide.

We got home about 10pm Saskatoon time and all slept.

Friday we went to buy more stuff needed around d house...

It's a gradual process and we are getting there.

We have schl appointment for d kids on 9th April...my son is 3 and would be in preschl for 100$ a mnth ...4hrs a day, 3x a week.
My dauta is 4+and will be in senior kindergarten for free. We chose to do Catholic schl.

It's public holiday today n monday so we 've got to rest until Tuesday.

That's part of our story...it's incomplete...the rest parts on jobs and etc is loading...

UNTO THE IMMORTAL KING BE BLESSING AND GLORY & HONOR FOR EVER AND EVER....
AMEN.

Thanks to everyone here who was part of ma journey.
Vcole, 40man, Esosa, zandora,Jesusdway, dupysho, etc...
May God bless us all.

Cheers.

Elfman is correct oh lol. It didn't exist.

It doesn't matter if you're currently unemployed. As long as you have a minimum of 3 years full-time in the last 10 years, it doesn't matter what you told them during your visa. You are allowed to use any of the work experience in the qualifying years.

If he dares to omit that job and a VO picks it up from his history in their data from his TRV app, he very likely may get ADR for activity/personal hx
If he still omits it again,, lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lemme not say he will be facing a charge of Mis.......

Ok, so DHL runs concluded (I can’t afford to wait so I can pay another armed robber salary school fees) grin grin

Hmm....where do I start from? I will indeed give God the praise because it could only have been Him. My loooong timeline is below:

IELTS - 07 Jan, 2017 (9,8,8.5,7.5)
1st ECA - WES (still uncompleted as I speak as that institution formerly known as Ogun State University refused to send transcript)
2nd ECA - IQAS; received 26 Mar, 2017 (Resorted to IQAS as we were not aware we could request WES to exclude the BSC from OSU so sent UK Master’s only to IQAS)
1st EE Profile - 27 Mar, 2017
2nd EE Profile - 12 Apr, 2017 (recreated to attract Ontario NOIs which were being released that week. Ontario had requested that we should recreate our profiles)
Ontario NOI received - 12 Apr, 2017
Application submitted - 14 Apr, 2017
Nomination - 09 May, 2017
ITA - 17 May, 2017
AOR - 01 Jun, 2017
ADR 1 (travel history) - 09 Aug, 2017
IP1 - 09 Aug, 2017
ADR 2 (spouse UK PCC) - 16 Aug, 2017
Medicals Passed/NA2 - 17 Aug, 2017
No additional docs/FTD (I assume) - 24 Sept, 2017
IP2 - 19 Dec, 2017
PPR - 28 Dec, 2017

This forum has been a wonderful companion through this journey. It’s been amazing to see the testimonies, the camaraderie as well as the digs wink. The testimony that stands out for me is Deeore’s. I remember when she posted her rejection, how she was encouraged and how she dusted herself up and reapplied. And God did it! As He has completed the work for those of us who received PPRs, so shall He do for those still awaiting IELTS, ECA, ITA and even POF completion in Jesus’ name.

Congrats Bsbabes!!
For a pnp, your was a swift one.

Buhahahahahahahahahaha...

Individuals interpret differently, that's partly why reading scores varies in IELTS. Funny enough, if they get a ban, she will just hibernate and won't come here to share it.

Exactly! @ bolded.

I first started studying the CIC express entry page early 2015 , then started reading the FSW nairaland thread around june 2015.
I have read every single page in all d subsequent three parts.
I have read hundreds of posts on the canadavisa forum.
I was online day and night studying the system and gleaning from other peoples experiences.
I got into the EE pool in july 2016 and applied in april 2017.
I have come across a procedural letter for ECA and d subsequent rejection. i just cant remember exactly where i read it. I wish i could find the link.

This reply from our new sister @fantababy is the very reason why we shouldnt boldly propagate sharp practices or cutting corners. Now the newbies are taking these risky advises as the norm and are even defending it.
Pls "new elders" beware. do not lead others into dangerous grounds.
Frm CIC website, 3 basic documents needed in hand to get into d pool (i.e be eligible) are ECA,IELTS, and a Valid INLTL PASSPORT.
The rest documents are to be sourced upon ITA and uploaded upon eAPR.

Let each person take his own risk.

How can you post a link yet write an incorrect answer on here? You didn't understand the post in the link abi wetin

I guess now we should also ask folks to comprehend what they read. Na wa. This part 3 is full of incorrect information. undecided

no mind am.
i feel vexed reading some of the incorrect advises given with so much confidence.
i dont blame the responders, i rather blame those who simply refuse to read or research.
because of the repetitive questions, most seniors have gone silent especially if not specifically mentioned.

I ve typed a very long saucy response but I changed my mind and erased.

Please let us desist from sharp practices being advised here lately, it will only block the way for future Nigerian Immigrants. It will lead to unnecessary scrutiny of Nigerian applications. It will lead to misrepresentation and the attendant bans and wasted time and funds. It will kill the DIY spirit and create jobs for agents. It will not help anybody to be a lazy reader please..

If you arent sure or havent had a first hand experience about a topic/question, kindly indicate this in your response. try not to speak authoritatively on something u are unsure of. That your well-intended response may lead someone into a very grave mistake.

Cheers everyone.
