This woman keeps leading women astray. What about strict adherence to modesty? Women have become sex objects all in the name of modernism and this is the singular reason why women are being put down on a day to day. Why do you think they get raped? Why do they get sexually harassed? Why do they use their bodies as a means to an end? Yet you wonder why women are not taken seriously in the society.

Congratulations, Chimamanda . You have spoken for the majority of women out there whose selling point is their body and not their brains.
the character of the men around is largely to blame for the rapes and "objectification" of women.

Men are becoming increasingly useless in the 21st century

Yes indeed women should dress modestly, as that is the best

They should also choose to dress modestly

It should not be an imposition

But I admonish women to dress well BY CHOICE

Not because of pressures

Bro monogamy is a western psychology that has no foundation either from the bible or even in Islam.

The Devil has destroyed many marriages because of the twisted mindset of our women.

The worst part is that these western countries suffer the hit the most...

Walk on the streets of England and America and randomly pick 10 women with kids and you can be sure that at least 6 out of every 10 is either divorced, or never married single mum's.

Ask them why they broke up with their ex and you are almost certain to hear same reason..."HE CHEATED ON ME"

Have you ever come across any story in the bible where a lady leaves her husband cos he got another concubine? In fact it was these wives that were encouraging their husbands to take concubines.

I pity this generation of ladies who have already destroyed their mindset with the lies the missionaries brought with religion.

My duty is to continue to write from the realistic point of view...anyone who has issues should counter it with facts rather than make a mockery of him or herself by trolling.
monogamy is a western ideologyhuhhuh shocked shocked

i laugh when you write this, who train up most men, is it not their mothers, there is a reason mothers train up their boys like that sometimes, no woman will want another woman to mistreat and play with her son's heart, it is a protective mechanism.

do you know how many men are also suffering in their marriages but wont leave because of the kids or because of being brain washed by society that he should allow anything a woman does to him to slide.
i agree with your second paragraph

about the first
i think I made it clear that it's the moms of the boys that trained them to be the way they are, which js an irony

Men are less inclined to train their boys to be highly misogynist and not respect women

It is the mum that arrange second wife for the son

It is the mum that is harraser in chief
And the list goes on

The truth of all these be say what goes around comes around, karma is real. Some of all these our brothers complaining here are there married either a foreign lady who gave him all the support he needed and gave him paper only for him to later divorce her to come home and marry a home breed/Nigerian woman.
They calll it smartness(nwanyi mjiiri nweta akwukwo)
After divorcing her with lame excuses of not being like African woman or not doing what african women does
You think you won’t pay for it especially when she truelly loves you and doing her best to make the marriage work, and you think God will be kind to you, oh! You forgot she’s from a different background and culture totally. So most men are really reaping what they sow.
Let know one start what he/she can not finish, marriage entered into with deception or with selfish mindset will surely crash, be ready give up somethings if you want you marriage to work out.

OF course, I have always dated feminine women, women who are feminist in the truest and organic sense, not the ones men generally have a disdain for. They are also not hard to find though, one needs to know how to get them.

Unto naija women, well, many men are adopting the opinion you have, which is not a good thing. I left naija when I was a teenager, and didn't date any Nigerian women then, so I can't say. But with wetin I de see for this forum, men, if na true, then, I go avoid them as well. But in anything you do, never generalize, people come in different shapes and form, your unicorn may just be somewhere lost in the sea of your generalisations. Greetings Ugochukwu.
greetings panso

remember I used the word "risk"

the risk of the women in Nigeria screwing you over is significant

And I don't blame them

the wicked society screwed them over.

You are right .

So true . Nigerian men don't appreciate women one bit , that's why women don't care anymore . but two wrongs can never make right .
But even if their mothers didn't train them well, as they grow up, don't they have compassion to treat another human being well?
I was brought up from a well off family , I was trained to see myself as very important and even the most important human being on earth . my mum pampered me like egg and I became proud and self centered , also I had fake friends around . But after my degree in the university , things happened and I retrained myself or would I say circumstances retrained me and I'm humble , selfless and very caring, all my fake friends have gone .I now have friends that are more than family to me . I can't trade them for anything in this world .

So if I retrain myself, why can't some men retrain themselves and be a better human being .

So don't entirely blame the mothers. Blame the heart of man that refuse to have compassion and reform . that's how I see it .
I like your point of view tongue

That's what most of the men always say .

If only u had a video camera hidden in their homes , you will definitely pity their wives and stone the men . some talk down on their wives even in public , all to destroy her self morale . While some in private , just to make her feel useless .

Some men are habitual liars . I don't believe all their stories .

Treat à good woman well, give her good sex , money , attention and care , then see if she will cheat on you. most married women are like tenants in their homes , while some loneliness wan kill them die . And the man will be wailing as if he is the best husband a woman can ever have .

I don't believe their lies .
not in all cases tho

But a good number of women are suffering in their marriages in Naija especially

The truth is that naija men in general were not trained to respect WOMEN or see her needs as important

And guess who did that damage? grin

Their mothers

hence women are the problem of women, directly or indirectly

But that aside

things need to change

The site is not promoting tribal war, it is promoting the TRUTH that you people want to continue to sweep under a shythole carpet. Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa/Fulani are on their own NATIONS, larger than most in Asia, Europe, and the Americas, with DIFFERENT value systems. That is why even common election since 1999, Nigeria (Nigger Area) finds it very DIFFICULT to do.

Look at all the killings, rigging, bribery, inec officials held at gunpoint. Look at how people supported for a 5-time campaigning coupist that overthrew a democracy for President, despite the carnage and absentee leadership the last 4 years....all because of Tribe and religion.

We know you watch the EPL, yet that very Kingdom says to hell with those who are more similar to them (EU) because they recognize their own natural identity, and even allow among themselves identities to exercise autonomy (Scottish parliament, etc).

But in Nigeria you people want to uphold slavery and colonialism when it was clear the best leaders ever where from the era that there was close enough to independent regions (Awo, Bello, Zik) and not the nonsense and zoo we have today...

OPEN YOUR EYES BLACK PEOPLE

I know the next thing in your little mind is Dangote, Otedola, Adenuga, kids lolz cheesy

We are talking about numbers not one man squad, learn learn!

There are four or five major market and trade centers in Lagos, namely; Idumota, Trade Fair/Balogun/Auto-Parts, Alaba Intl Market (featured many times on CNN & Aljazeera), Ladipo Spare Parts Market, Ikeja Computer village, and one other one for building materials at Apapa & Orile, and 70 - 80% of these markets are owned and dominated by Igbos!

Go to Lekki from phase 1 - 2, to Lekki County Gardens to Nycon Town to Queens Street to even Banana Island, Igbos are the majority owners of lands and properties in these choice areas of Lagos.

Go to Amuwo Odofin, Igbos have developed swamps into amazing estates, from Okota stretching towards Festac its now an Igbo city looking like Ikoyi.

Where do I start or endhuh

20 - 35% of the tall buildings in Victoria Island is owned by Igbos, I can name them for you because I have classified info, so what are trying to argue forhuh

Dangote might be the richest man, but Igbos as a single tribe have the highest number of millionaires in the whole of Nigeria, you know the truth.

One Iroko does not make a forest. Dangote is one Iroko, same with few Yoruba billionaires, but wealth is spread across all Igbo families and communities.

That's why Igbos don't worship one rich person cos every family or community in Igbo land have their own Iroko wink
Yeah TRUE

wealth is more evenly spread amongst us

But then

all this tribal banter and all between igbo /Yoruba is unnecessary

As people, they are doing well for themselves as well.

Abdijan is a smaller city compared to a mega city like Lagos.

It has 24/7 electricity and water supply.
It has 24/7 city life reducing the traffic on the roads.

They started using SETRA buses with dedicated routes before Lagos conventional brt. They even have buses that looks like coaches. The cost of living in Abdijan is lower than that of Lagos.

PMS is costlier in Abdijan than Lagos and cost of renting an apartment is relatively higher
New yoirj, Tokyo and Mumbai are bigger and more diverse than Lagos

even Shanghai and Mexico city

But all tvrde cities beat Lagos hands down
