Good news. I learned that the village people have warned Obiano to stop tarnishing the name of their son whom they referred to as Their Governor and President; as this young philanthropist has done what government cannot do: built schools, churches, roads, power plants, water, given scholarships to over hundred young men,s sponsored over 20 abroad for their town.
So this useless man still has the mind to walk about like this after what he has caused the communityhuh

You should be ashamed of yourself for mentioning t Italian and nepotism in this discuss. Do you know my tribe? or my relation?

Yes the subsidy was wasting our resources but what happened to the fund her ministry realised when the increased the fuel to N92 from N64? nothing to show for it.

So you expect me to trust someone that couldn't explain how she managed the partial subsidy removal with the total removal? We are not all fools you know.

Despite the price of crude oil averaging $100 at that time, she couldn't manage the economy you now expect me to trust her with the little I was enjoying as the citizen.

All the promise of transit buses to be provided with the initial removal have you seen any? They are all in the hands of private transporters charging you and I exorbitant fees for what belongs to us.

A woman that borrowed money less than 6months after oil started trading for $25/barrel despite years of the price averaging $100/barrel, I wonder the magic she would perform in an economy averaging $36/barrel. an with very low output at some point.

In your last post you mentioned PMB borrowing from the first day. FYI every government borrows almost all the time, what to do with it is what matters.

Only a foolish and irresponsible government borrows to pay salary. Is salary an investment? How does she expect to pay back the loan?
I have nothing more to say

NIGERIA THE FRAUDULENT COUNTRY began between 1967 to 1996 when Arewa used military dictators ro create 20 states and hundreds of lgas in one northern region; but allowed only 17 states in two southern regions.

Land mass is never used as yardstick to create new states from old states or regions in a country where different groups formed a country.

Northern Russia occupies a very huge land mass of Russia, but has about the least political representation in Russia's Parliament.

In Nigeria, northern Nigeria's political class draws a huge political over-representation from the 20 northern states, it uses this to dictate what can be in Nigeria.
Do You know how many tribes they are in that 19 states of the north?
Do You know?

When did reps from benue become Hausa/Fulani?
What about Plateau?
What about Borno (Kanuri)
What of Taraba state? Even Kwara state?

What about reps from Southern Kaduna? Bauchi?

The north is not a monolithic place
Get that

Erm! erm! who's fault is that the populace couldn't trust her enough to allow her and her master to remove the subsidy especially with the monumental fraud that has gone unnoticed under her.

She is a failure if her country cannot trust her to manage the funds of the country then what finance was she ministering?

We say person no fine, you say na rain beat. We na the rain wash away her beauty?

We say she no know book, you say she get hand writing. Na that one We wan chop.

God bless you sir. My reason for that score is due to not harnessing the non oil sector enough coupled with fund wastage on oil exploration in the north, some non performing/incompetent ministers in his cabinet and one way fight of corruption.

Every government have it's flaw and I would say GEJ is the most flawed democratic government since 1999 because despite oil price at $120 per barrel, he couldn't do much to boost other sector of the economy, build the necessary infrastructure and massive looting happened under his watch hence why he is seen as the clueless one.

Truly if his government had continue till now, I don't know what might have happened to Nigeria but that doesn't mean the current government are taking prompt steps to make average citizens enjoy dividend of democracy. Though recently we are getting positive news about the economy but this need to transcend to the masses.
How long was the oil price $120?

Oil prices were higher under GEJ, but so was his responsibilities.
Minimum wage has been increased, Youth corpers in their hundreds of thousands has their allowances increased by more than 100 % to N19i800 and in addition, the subsidy bill on his neck was too heavy.
Add the fight against bh too.

I'm not saying Jonathan was the best, but hey; let's try to be objective here.

Let Buhari pay the subsidies that the last government paid, let's see what will remain in the coffers.....

Buhari's government has been very wasteful, and more than 2 years after, nothing concrete to show.

You are talking of Venezuela, Venezuela is a socialist state, Nigeria is not, so there was no way Nigeria would have ended up like them.

Chavez has spoilt them, and they are paying for it today.

At $25/barrel Okonjo(a professor) was borrowing to pay salary. Is that her back up mechanism?

At the same $25/barrel the Kemi Adeosun(an HND graduate) took over and never borrowed to pay salary. Instead she turned things around and started borrowing states money to pay salaries.

I won't dignify you with a response again

funny enoug

this are issues Nigerians and Africans in general will never ask. I keep on asking myself why is it easy for our politicians to smuggle money into this western countries but impossible for them to return it to either the government or the smugglers. where are all these terrorists getting or buying their weapons from, since no African country is producing the weapons. look at the so called Abacha loot almost 20years now, they are yet to return it to Nigerian government. hopefully African countries will wake up early before its too late.
So the European governments should be wasting their resources tracking every European bank (which by the way are privately owned, as no looter save his money at the European Central Bank) that receives illicit money from Africahuh

That one is not their concern, because to them, if you monkeys in Africa cannot harass your leaders not to loot, wetin concern them?
If we were in the same shoes as they are in, we will do same, so leave story.

Africans have refused to be wise, and that is not their fault.

About Abacha loot, recovering loot money is not as straight forward as you think? as a government cannot just order money in the coffers of a private bank out just like that.
There is a process.
The best that can be done is to freeze such assets, and then repatriate bit by bit, After all, the loot was deposited bit by bit and not in one day.

It is a dog est dog world, and if you are not wise, you will be exploited, exactly the position Africa is in

Many Nigerians still believe in these things, some even go to a give to churches/mosques because they think "God" will forgive when they do. We have a social problem that needs to be addressed. Pls, let's stop this tribe thingy.
It's true that it is rampant in the Nigerian society today.
