rychard: Nansense!!..
He'll never go through the same struggle the rest of us go through, the playing field is never level.. The education, healthcare, opportunities, security, food, lifestyle and exposure is not the same. It is not his fault actually, if your dad has money, you have the right to leverage on it, but don't ever think its not a difference , because its a huge one..
Yea, A true society shouldn't castigate the rich, if the level playing field is there, and the Nigerian dream that a young boy like me, who grew up from Olo community in Enugu state, will have at least the minimum quality basic education , I am not asking for the best private school with AC and all, but a school that offers good basic education, a public hospital that offers good health care, security for the people, roads, water, if I don't have to trek miles to my school, if I can have constant power , the basic fundamental amenities then I have a chance to chase opportunities and become better than my father...
No, he will never understand!.. And its okay I see your point But why do Nigerians hate the wealthy class in Nigeria I kind of notices it. |

jaykaybaba: According to Wikipedia South East is 29 385 square kilometres
and Nigeria is 923 768 square kilometres
i.e the SE is 3.1% of the land mass of Nigeria
To put it in further perspective
Cross River State is 20 000 sq Km
Kwars State is 36 000 sq km Niger State is 76000 Sq km
Oyo State is 28 454 Sq km I'm not talking about the states, but the City. Ado Ekiti can never be bigger than Enugu. And of course, we know that the SE has 3.1% of Nigeria's land mass, but also one of the most densely populated, as the 5 states of the SE is more populated than Oyo state, even tho the land mass is close. Think of the SE as a Singapore when it comes to population density |

ba7man: Your cities are too small....apart from Onitsha, the rest are hardly as big as Ado-Ekiti.
The whole se is roughly the size of Oyo state.........and yes, I've travelled round the se. So Ado Ekiti is bigger than Enugu or Awka And you claim to have done round the SE? I don laugh tire |

It only got worse prior to the last election I know the tribalism I faced growing up amongst your pole, even tho not all of them, as I had and still have good Yoloba friends, but the tribalist amongst your lot are terrible people We really have to change in this country, and stop this tribalism. |

ODVanguard: Lol. Indeed. Yet Anambra and Abia folks can barely afford to buy recharge card (credit) to make phone calls and browse the internet compared to the likes of Edo, Kaduna, Delta and Niger that don't have big outdoor markets? Not to talk of Oyo and Ogun. The data I attached earlier from the telecoms companies is very revealing, as it lays bare for all to see which states have the economic purchasing power and considerable consumer market sizes. This ain't about noise making or empty chest-beating but raw data.
Haven't you guys realized by now that those over hyped markets are just that -- overhyped. Coz they aren't attracting the level of fdi and population increase (which indicates increased economic opportunities) that other states that don't even boast of such markets are managing to. If anything, that region (SE) is getting more and more depopulated relative to other states, for whatever reason(s). Even Delta and Edo have higher consumer populations than any SE state. That in itself speaks volumes. Enough of the false hype, dude. The South East is getting more and more depopulated my black ass Make una continue dey decieve unaself Anything to make you feel good about yourself is okay. But that will not change the fact on ground. And that we are a force to reckon with in the Nigerian economic space. So make una continue Your fellow tribalist in another thread even accuse the wealthy amongst us, to be criminals, and drug dealers who were not caught So I know your types |

Henryyy: NO!!!!!!!!We aren't doing no fucking tour of no motherfucking south east. What is there to tour?Your numerous lies? Your hypocrisy? Please spare us that bullshit. The only thing igbos do well is chest beating all over nairaland, nothing else.Boasting about the fabulous life in the south east which has constantly being exposed to be baseless lies. I see igbos only consolation is yelling about how others sit in a corner and have never been to the east. That is fucking lame and stale so I suggest you all come up with something better. When a research places the east tops, it is GENUINE but when if the reverse is the case, it is BASELESS, FRAUDULENT and everyone hates you? May inferiority complex not quench una. See how this one is sounding like a bleeping goat Seeing is believing, so come here and see for yourself I have been to all the SW states, heck, I was born and bred in Lagos, so when people talk about the SW, I know what is true, and what isn't But for many of your folk, to massage their brused and emasculated ego ), they believe any negative rhetoric from the South East, just to make them feel better. And in a way, it's also vice versa. I know not every Yoruba persin is a skull miner, but for one who has not been to the SW, based on the news he gets, he is prone to believe that Yolobas are skull miners. |

scholes0: So in your mind Ogun and Abia or Oyo and Anambra have the same consumer market size. Clap for yourself. I have nothing more to say. Ogun state and Oyo state that I know or another one? In commerce, Anambra and Oyo are not mates at all. Even in infrastructures Ogun and Abia state? Well it's hard to say, because Ogun state has industrial estates due to its proximity to Lagos, the big market, and Abia state has the big markets too and some industrial estates as well. The only thing os Abeokuta in a way has better infrastructure than Aba. (the main minus for Aba tho) |
