ayodele234:
Guy go and sleep. It is out there for all to see. This is 2017 and not 1966 when we were all brainwashed. In 2017 when America issue visas to bricklayers, palm wine tappers, truck pushers, the illusion days are over. It is a shame you are still living in the dark. 95% of Nigerians living in America have never seen $20,000(not counting those involved in shady dealings) cash in their life and that includes college graduates. You think you are engaging a toddler? In America where people can't even boast of a mere $500 and I am actually talking about first class citizens. 7 out of 10 Americans can't boast of $1,000 in an emergency and 62% are one paycheck away from living on the street. Go to New York and Chicago and see original suffer head. The most most Nigerians can achieve is building a duplex back in Nigeria that will take them over 15yrs to complete something that even a iron welder and POP man in Nigeria can accomplish as well. Wake up from your american illusion. The American dream only make sense when you are dreaming so keep dreaming since waking up is not part of the dream.
This guy is a joker grin grin

What is the percentage of Nigerians that has seen 100k nairq in their lives?
or even have it in their account?

How many Nigerians can afford medical emergencies? huh

What is the percentage of home ownership in Nigeria?

What about the unemployment rate in Nigeria?

The high number od businesses closing up

Government workers owed for months
Infrastructural decay, widespread poverty and hopelessness

You better go and sit your ass down

For you to even compare the two countries in anything means you don't even know anything

It doesn't have to make any sense. It is the reality of things. While we can't make comparison between both countries in terms of development, it is more easier to achieve your dreams in Nigeria than in America.

googi:
Why are you guys comparing salaries abroad to Nigerian salary?

Does it make sense or the same union or determination board are fixing salaries worldwide?

Do you know how much highly world regarded doctors make in Cuba?

This is why I say no matter what the salary, Nigerian doctors will leave for the countries that fit their medical curriculum. Train Nigerian doctors for Nigeria and the brain drain will stop.

When was the last time you heard that physician assistants (health officers) train in medical tech. all over the country are leaving in droves. But then, even those without post secondary training are leaving.

Our problem is beyond medical doctors alone. The system is junk. Instead of standing up like your fathers did for Independence and demand action, you are waiting for your grandfather Wole Soyinka to come and fight for you. Wait O!

Again, wait o. Somebody is complaining about equipment.

Since Independence, you cannot make your own equipment? Who are you waiting for?

By the way, we have the biggest field for medicine and discovery in Africa, right in your village. Every summer, professors of medicine used to invade Olulunyo Hospital in Ibadan waiting to be posted to Bush Hospital. They then go back home and teach tropical medicine at Harvard, Yale, Oxford, McGill or University of Toronto.

Abeg, which equipment are you complaining about? You do not have iron, tin, silver or gold to make Bunsen burner? Go si-down jor!

Many of you are lazy waiting to be spoon-fed and collect government salaries.

Ah, ah. What about those trained abroad, leave everything and return home. As we usually say in those days, before you kill your mother!
What is this one sayinghuh

While growing up, we never knew that professions and careers that are not in JAMB brochure could make you rich ,buy exotic cars, build big houses, marry beautiful wife, have cute babies and even travel abroad at will.

They told us we have to study very hard in school to be very rich, we did but we've not been able to get just a car, a house and a beautiful wife (the footballers, the musicians and comedians who didn't go to school have more than what we do.)
They lied to us, they were the real scammers.

Explain in relation to China
China does not rear Kids like pigs.

for the last almost 40 years (though I hear that they have relaxed the policy)
China had a strict "one child policy"

This policy helped in no small measure in controlling their growth rate, and helping their economy grow and their living standards increase

Their population remained under 1.45 billion throughout, and you can never see a Chinese with highest 3 children (most have 1 or 2 kids)

Nigeria on the other hand has tripled it's population in 55 years.

And the result is clear for all to see.
hunger unemployment and increased crime.

If China tripled its population in 50 years the way we did, then China will be 3 billion plus

And there would have been chaos in China

I like the north very Much.. But the fact that they give birth like bacteria is quite disturbing, and more disturbing is the fact that many graduate from the north still come up with an ostensibly irrational and stupid explanation to their binary fission reproductive style.
if we continue to grow at this rate with the limited resources at our disposal, we may all someday go for cannibalism as the only remedy or nature will have to do it works of unleashing myriads of disasters just to clean the earth of the homo sapiens and give chance to different species.
I've observed that the poor having nothing else to do indulge more in sex both as recreational and a means of keeping themselves busy and as such they give birth to more children who they can't cater for than the rich.

As at 1960 Nigerian's population was barely 45 million,
30years later in 1991 it doubled 90 million, 55 years later in 2016 it quadrupled to 180 million. Currently Nigerians population is nearly 200million. If we continue with this madness called high rate of natality in which the north is apparently taking the lead, it will become so difficult for our kids in the next 50 to survive in this country.
Most people don't think before they comment
Thank you very much

Black men in general should control the population growth

Honestly, this is a feeble attempt at common sense.
Producing babies and creating jobs are separate entities. The last I checked, people are at liberty to live their lives as they deem fit, as long as it constitutes no harm to others.

Why impose a lifestyle pattern on them?
Rearing children like pigs will constitute harm to the Nigerian society

Yorubas are an integral part of this country. So are Northerners and NDeltans. So what's so special about Igbos?

Nothing wrong with my logic. It is spot on. When Buhari offered an olive branch to Igbos your people threatened to assassinate him if he dares come to the SE.

GEJ took care of the North and the SE. And neglected the SW who actually fought tireless to prevent the Northerners from stopping his ascension to the presidency.

When Yorubas complained about GEJ - the sentiments of the Igbos went something like this:
Did GEJ neglect the SW? huhhuh

Dear Employee

Neymar is a top footballer, one of the best in the world and has garnered a lot of fans, many of which are willing to buy the next sheet he drops in the closet; he's irreplaceable in his club which gives him enough leverage to negotiate a better salary or even move to other clubs that are offering him better salary

you however are being overpaid by us as 17 guys approached me within the past week and 5 of them are far more talented than you at your job, although they lack your experience but you also didn't have experience when we hired you, 4 of those guys are willing to do your work for 1/3 of what we are paying you and the remaining one said he's willing to work for free for the first 6 months; there are hundreds of thousands of Nigerians that are unemployed right now and have your skills, hell we can even train a zoology graduate on your job and he'll do a fairly good job (no offense to Zoology graduates)

I've been fighting the urge of replacing you with one of them as we would save valuable financial resources in the process and the shareholders would be happy for it but this letter of yours finally made the decision for me

since firing you would only lead to our loss like your letter implies, we would like to lose

from Monday, 7th August 2017, your services would no longer be required, you shall be paid your severance package one week after you surrender all properties belonging to the company in your possession to the Human Resources Manager, Mr John Doe, we wish you success in the search for your own version of PSG; look at the brightest side, whoever your next employer is doesn't need to pay us €222,000,000 first

Nothing special about Igbos leaving. Nigeria will lose of Yorubas leave. If Niger Deltans leave etc. Fuel price protest is different from Biafran agitation. Igbos insulted Buhari using unprintedable names throughout the election process. So he called you 5% and you started crying victims. Igbos are complaining about 'federal presence.' Poor federal roads etc. That is the core of their so called 'neglect.'(all situation that existed before GEJ became president and affects every region in the South). I have not heard a single Igbo complain about taxation under Buhari. I don't know if Buhari loves or hate Igbos. One thing I know is politics is a tough game. You placed all your hopes on GEJ and you lost. Don't expect the guy you opposed, Buhari, to give you top priority. And if he extends an olive branch to you, visiting the SE, don't threaten him with assassination. It is stupid. Shortsighted. And unpatriotic.
Igbos are an integral part of this country, and it will be full hardy to believe that Nigeria will not miss them if God forbid the country disintegrates.

And your logic is also very flawed, because whether a state voted for you or not, you still have to carry them along, as they are a part of Nigeria, and they are paying federal taxes too.

Jonathan took care of the north, gave them almajari schools and even Abuja-KD rail, even tho he did not win most of the states there.

Your logic is very bad and you must change it.

Joe Ogbokwe is one Igbo who thinks that every Igbo must think like him.

Igbokwe is a sociopath.

When Boko Haram emerged in the north, Igbokwe was the first Igbo to publish articles saying that his son must not do National Youth Service in the North of Nigeria.

Every Igbo, including Nnamdi Kanu, wants to avoid a country associated with Boko Haram violence and sharia criminal codes which Boko Haram says it is fighting for; the same sharia criminal codes which northern Nigeria adopted; thereafter, Boko Haram emerged and forced a mass exodus of Igbos from the north.

Igbokwe has lost his Igboness due to his more than three decades stay in Lagos, first as a bus conductor, and finally to servant of Lagos state governors.
Nnamdi Kanu is also a big idiot for thinking every Igbo man should buy in his pipe dream of Biafra.

Even denigrating his own people by calling them pigs.
