You insulted me, i was on the thread i hid your post but i didnt ban you, The admin banned you and later on you started begging to be unbanned. He also unbanned you. When someone is banned moderators/admin give reasons for the ban.

when i banned you on sports the reason was : "deliberately changing the original link on a thread to a forum's link after it was changed" . You saw the reason and you went on to create a thread about being wrongfully banned.


I only banned you for changing the links on a thread and that was on the sports section only. We try to ensure people post news stories directly from their source and not from another copied source, we've had people complaining about their stories being on nairaland and no credit given to them.

The truth remains that someone banned my not know hes serving a ban, unless he clicks on his profile or attempts to post in that same section. It took me months to realise that i was serving a ban from the tyrant maclatunji in the islam section, although the reason for my ban was there in my profile, it was when i viewed my profile that i saw it.
That aside, jarus did not define the ban rule, he never said the 2 ban can come from any section. Then he waited until afam pulled the highest votes, then with a litle push from Desola and the yoruba cabal, he disqualified afam.
What a shame!

How can a ban incured at the celebrity and auto sections be a yardstick for disqualifying someone at politics section? Why wasnt it defined from the word 'go' that any ban from any section will be counted? Afterall, one of the rules was that a nominee must be active in politics section. So why use a ban he incured at another section? Afterall, a red card given to a player during a champions league match doesnt stop him from playing in his domestic league.
Why wait till the contestant scales thru the huddles of nomination b4 disqualifying him? These are questions that seek answers.

The question therein remains, 'why wait till now to disqualify afam, and, why is jarus giving a new twist to the rules? The ban rule was not defined. This is a sectional election, the rule as stated by jarus is that 'only members ACTIVE IN THIS SECTION will be nominated. In the same vein, i posit that ONLY BANS GOTEN FROM THIS SECTION counts.
Please, in ur quest to vote Naptu (who i respect and hold nothing against), dont deny others their desire to vote Afam.
