If given admission today in IMSU as a fresher, you are expected to pay;

Acceptance fee 70,000
School fees 120,000 and 150,000 for non-indegens.

Mind you the scholarship has not been given to year one because they've no applied yet

i was waiting for an imsu student to make an input b4 i comment. Here is it! Acceptance fee of 70k is absurd. 70k will cover for both school fees, acceptance fee and hostel accomodation in some universities. Sounds more like robing peter to pay paul.
My take, make imsu a word class university of international standard. Its better to give people quality education than quantity education.

Wouldnt it be better to nominate 2, then vote for 1 when the actual voting starts?

PointB: Anyway, before we round up, we need to recap a few things.

First, I have tried to capture most of our inputs in the Nomination Rules.
the purpose of the Eze Ndi Igbo Nairaland title-ship is to lead the line in unifying several Igbo posters and their ideologies where possible. Where this is not possible, to channel the various ideologies towards a common - Igbo cause. For clarification, Igbo cause include social, political, economic and spiritual development and advancement of Ala Igbo - within and outside the SE Zone. Specifically the title holders should lead the line in promotion of Ndi Igbo economic and political interest online, and offline. They are expected to promote Igbo language and culture, and clamp down, on divisive voices, using various subtle means available to them. The Eze Ndi Igbo Nairaland title holders are not elected to champion hatred and vile against other ethnic groups, but they must conduct their affairs without fear or favour, with as much readiness to get their hands 'dirty' in the defense of Igbo cause when the need arises.

In my opinion, the above and those captured below should form part of their Code of Conduct.

1. The Eze Ndi Igbo Nairaland title holders are neither pro-Nigeria nor Pro-Biafran, they are expected to be neutral on this issue, and only offer advisory suggestions.
2. The various Nigerian ethnic group has their plethora of ills and malaise, the Eze Ndi Igbo Nairaland title holders should not mindlessly or tastelessly remind us (Igbo) of ours, at least not publicly unless to proffer/suggest solutions to them.
3. The Eze Ndi Igbo Nairaland title holders are primarily Igbos before any other sub-group affiliations, they are expected to reflect this in their dealings with other Igbo groups (sub-groups, by never taking sides in some of the pockets of issues I would term 'chinosism'
4. The Eze Ndi Igbo Nairaland title holders should periodically appoint council members and hold period meetings to discuss pertinent national issues, with the aim of taking an informed position
5. The Eze Ndi Igbo Nairaland title holders should maintain a visible 'hotline' (an email account) which can easily be used to reach them
6. The Eze Ndi Igbo must always pursue the Igbo cause, in the short, medium, and long term.

Any extra input will be included.

One of the best private schools in umuahia, also has 2 campuses at Aba. Pays its corpers N7,000 with accomodation. Pray they accept you, especially if ur field is sciences.

Where were u posted for your primary assignment? A school? Public/private? An industry? Ministry? Tertiary institution? Do u find the place interesting or challanging? How much do they pay? Do u see yourself better after working there for a year? Are they gona provide accomodation?

I find it ironic that he could afford to pay stipends to school kids (even primary 1 kids less than 9yrs) but finds it difficult to pay corpers teaching in the public schools.
