You need to stop teaching women to dislike their bodies...very very bad. Self-love begins with loving your shell-- fat, slim, round, whichever way it looks. Your confidence level appreciates the more you learn to love your body. Some people will never be slim. Some will reach an age when no matter how hard they try, that stubborn fat will never melt away. And some will never add an inch in their lives even if they feed on whole Cows daily. Fat does not equal ugly and unfit. Fat is beautiful. Please stop helping these useless media propagate malnourishment, stick figures and thigh gaps (whatever those are). |
I don't understand why you people create these threads and end them with "let the bashing begin." You really think we have an interest in arguing your personal opinions based on the calibre of people you surround yourself with? Men. |
Emetophilia. That's disgusting ![]() |
That's not English na. One sounds very German, some Latin and others probably have Greek origins ![]() |
Pfft. Baby, 1 and 2's sooo wrong. Cars stop when I want to cross the road and I am a serial queue jumper (not ashamed of this ). |
I swear it looks like a mannequin ![]() |
This is funny "photographs capable of nauseating the optical nerves" Anyway. I suggest no heavily edited pictures stuck in rainbow-envy frames. If the contestants are perfectly fine with the way they look, then there's no need for all that nonsense. They don't make the pictures look better...just annoying, childish and honestly, terrible. I vote simplicity in photo shots. If you need help taking a good picture just run to Art/Graphics board of the forum and you'll be taught how to take decent photographs with your Tecno phones Good work, Dygeasy. I see you took the initiative of shifting the contest from Romance section Cool. Try Celebrities next year. |
Bluetooth2:Wrong question. You should be asking what's philosophical about the OP in it's entirety. I was really hoping for very deep, soul searching 'why'. |
I don't blame them. We're talking of the West where Africa isn't a continent, but a country. Screw them ![]() |
There was a list ![]() |
Can't think of anything to say. The young man had no intention of recording until a musician made an offer for the song. If his initial plan was to sing it on his wedding day, then sell it. Possibly before he's ready to get married, the song would have been recorded and released and he can still sing it. Go back and write more songs. If he is able to tap into the same feelings he had when the first song was written, then there's the possibility of doing more. Music is most often than not a reflection of our lives/souls. He has shown an ability to channel his emotions into song writing and music...cool. Let him establish himself as a songwriter, get a good lawyer to broker a decent deal and make a name for himself. Learn to be patient and use the success of others to your own advantage. |
pretydiva:You don't think this is the problem here? Everyone tells the woman that a nice caring guy is the desirable (and it is), but why aren't we asking her how she feels about this person too? Is this like some rule that a happy relationship is hinged on the attitude of the man? If he's into it, then the girl will catch the bug eventually. |

Looool! I've done every research I can on this TeamNatural girls/hair and am very sure it's not for me. See headache every day when you can just relax and deep condition every three month. I sha like the look of Adichie Chimamanda's hair. Maybe you can find her secret and stylist ![]() |

Viciyus:I assure you I have more than marriage on my mind. |
Truckpusher:Please. Women look good for their own sake and not for men. And they wouldn't think you're trying to hit them if men weren't so hôrny every darn time. And no, we have more on our minds than obsessing over how to please men. I believe the number of men viewing relationship themed threads in NL is proof enough ![]() |
Truckpusher:Truckie you're terrible Meanwhile I don't know you guys act like chasing a woman is/should be a full-time job. For all the female bashing threads here, men are still the first to jump on any thread that gives even the slightest insight into the mind of a woman. Bloody hypocrites everywhere. |
With the exception of 4 and 5, others don't hold true with moi. I'm a new soul anyway ![]() |
