ayodebola:Go to Indeed and search "paid training" in the search bar. No need to add a location. Then filter the results https://uk.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=83bdb90996f0bf7f&q=paid+training&tk=1g2vigj5pjknm801&from=web&advn=5859575233727946&adid=389959784&ad=-6NYlbfkN0D911TAKucL3rWDXNbI5JTJgzKdM-g4eLdLIygKrdBmlhwhKcv7evY69LoNCv5sYePgEvzt87b0UNnCfzkmaw8WJG9gB6hQ8qd-NRUAjB2a6XXygYGF09bA53IRuL6WlmNuAtO4vEVwJ2MBjyv-R80ycXfnf8QfqVjI50u-mdCi2aR5a7dc9G-1rre2dK22fO2qbq6bThCLI_UtJJrCPhuBRUDxn-hEjNIInzvHSo3TpjK1bgmaKtA8d57r_fHbvTY9WvOPxLWMXC1CfdudSXNTh_xJdLY384uhS7L_e_Rh_km5WODrYad4J7Aqbas_JpFKrTl-Pg4MhGHzEvsnSVd9vRbWBOO1iWluM6ejEymXyAhKLK42T-lZ&pub=4a1b367933fd867b19b072952f68dceb&vjs=3 I found the posting above in less than a minute. There are other firms out there recruiting all the time. take you time and search for them. You will find training for business and technical consultants. from Business analysis, Software Testing, Cloud Engineering, etc. Most of these training firms will require you to have at least a degree in any subject A BRP valid for more than 2 years (But there's no harm in trying if you don't have but I strongly doubt if they will accept) If you have done some IT courses on Udemy, Coursera, etc. You'll have an advantage. The link above is just an example. Never heard of them until today. If you meet the criteria (You'll have to provide evidence) above and you are highly motivated, I can refer you to where I am currently working. I won't want to recommend someone that will reflect negatively on me so you need to be very sure of yourself. Good luck! |
piecexchange:I think you sent me a dm. I have replied. |
I think time and chance is everything. Both sides of the argument have elements of truth. If you get a job solely on certifications and no work experience it's probably because they wanted to train you and you certifications are proof that you can be taught. Meaning you were very lucky. Last year I paid for a cloud certification course that I thought will lead to a job upon completion but it didn't. Only two of us from that training course are currently working as cloud engineers. I was fortunate to get a firm that offered paid training and job placements after training. I was offered a placement two weeks into my training after a successful interview. I now work as a cloud engineer for one of the big four banks. I think it depends largely on the sector. Certifications without experience might not get you a job in the UK cloud sector. On the other hand I got my placement quickly because of my certifications. About half of those in my training cohort already had cloud certifications but no experience and therefore no jobs. All of us without exception have now been placed. The quickest way into IT here in the UK without prior university education in IT is to get trained by an IT recruitment firm. You get paid during and after training for at least two years. If you can get certified without paying heavily please do. It will look good on your CV but after that it's just time and chance, no guarantees at all. |
Amarathripple0:Imagine a Jew going on a Jewish forum to tell them to avoid other Jews, or a European doing the same. They'll either ban that person or recommend psychriatic evaluation. Divide and conquer has been the tool used to ensure and people of African heritage never build together or form communities that will benefit them as a group. There's always someone or a group of them going around spreading negativity to ensure that distrust abound. There's a reason why you find Chinatowns or Jewish quarters in many places. If there are 200 million Nigerians on this earth, until you've had a negative experience when dealing with a hundred and one million of them you have no basis to come on a Nigerian forum to tell Nigerians to stay away from other Nigerians. If that's not insanity then I don't not what else to call it. |
Amarathripple0:I think if these so called "Nigerianophobes" are Nigerians themselves then it's a form of internalised self-hatred. They've been conditioned they just don't know... |
Chreze:This is very naive thinking, it shows that you really don't know what's going on. |
BorisJohnson:I wonder why you keep replying to her like this. No empathy whatsoever... |
Aydceo:Sold my pounds. Thanks |
NemB:Do you have a location (offline/online)? |
Olinga:I'll suggest you go through the videos on this channel. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrtPXCqjm9c7nqgJL-vBSZg I found the channel after I did poorly on a few interviews. I aced my very next interview after watching a few videos. |
hustla:Wow!! You really did ![]() Please be on the look out for my DM. Thanks a lot, I appreciate. |
hustla:Hmm... how's the job market? Is there a huge demand for cloud engineers? Will be looking forward to your comment. |
Olalekank:My tech experiences are front-end development and data analysis. I think I need to ask more questions. Thanks a lot. |
Good day everyone! I need advice, particularly from the tech gurus in the house. I just got an offer for a 10 week Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineer training programme. It costs £1950. Includes 2 certification exams Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals and Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate AZ-104 It's instructor led and comes with a lot of projects and course assessments. I am told, I am guaranteed 2 interviews with prospective employers. Is this a good offer? Is there a sizeable demand for Azure Cloud Engineers, is this an investment worth £2000? Are there better alternatives, e.g., AWS, etc. Thanks in advance... |
I have euros (or pounds) to exchange for naira. Please dm me with your rates, If you have euros to exchange for naira. If not exchange in pounds will suffice. Thanks |

Good day everyone, I urgently need the services of a barber (preferably Nigerian/African). I live in Birmingham (B13), I have a job interview scheduled for tomorrow and I'd like to look as professional as possible. I just arrived here(in Birmingham), I came during the lock down and I haven't been out and about. If you have any recommendations, please do tell. Also recommend, if possible, places of interest; areas populated by African diaspora or black businesses in particular. It'll be nice to patronize them whenever and wherever possible. Thanks |
