Politics › Re: Niger Delta Don’t Trust Igbo Presidency Because Of How Biafra Soldiers Killed Us by ukenke: 6:49am On Jan 20, 2023 |
Did Gowon create south south? Darren95: Igbos led by Ojukwu fought against the creation of South South. They brought Biafra war on us the moment Gowon created South South. Very evil and jealous people. See people who call us brothers but fought against creation of South South region from old eastern region. We can’t forget so soon.
Niger Delta remember history ooh! Igbo people think say dem wise.
My Niger Delta people, remember how Igbos brought Biafra by force to our land and killed our fathers, mothers, children and relatives just because we decided to be Niger Deltans and not Biafra.
Today these Biafran people want to be President of Nigeria, this is very risky for Niger Deltans. What will these Igbo Biafra Peter Obi do to us this time Will they cause another war in Nigeria?
Niger Delta must remember history and avoid these igbos who call us betrayers. They can never be trusted. |

If the rally was a success and according to you LP are going to win Kaduna with only igbo votes, contrary to what we that live in kaduna know.
So why did you wake up this early morning crying? Why the wailing on something that is sure for you?
You even pointed out that 'El rufai must be regretting and having headache about Obi popularity in kaduna' . This same KD we i dey stay? Delusion is a disease for real |

Part of the reason some people believed the Jubrin story?
[quoteq author=CaptainAyub post=120092400]Reminds me of when a journalist asked Babachir Lawal if he has received the news of his sack by the presidency. Ogbeni asked them "Who is the presidency"?
How can two appointees of Buhari be fighting themselves messily like this when their oga is still there? If Emefiele really committed any crime, how difficult is it for Buhari to tell him "ol boy,go and submit yaself to investigation" or even suspend him from office. If not, can't Buhari tell DG of DSS to "leave that man alone"? Truly,Buhari is a figurehead
|

Which zone is peaceful in Nigeria? Anonymous0001: Politics is a dirty game and full of lies and deceit. I am very sure Peter Obi cannot got more than 1million votes because you can’t just be a president of a Country like Nigeria when your house is not in order. Obi want to be president but refused to put his home and zone in order. They keep burning INEC office and kill innocent people everyday all in the name of IPOB and you think you can get votes from other peaceful region that have always maintain their stand and support their son. Politics is a game it numbers and all odds is against this man and still he can’t just tell himself the truth. I’m happy the election is very close now and everyone will see the truth. |

Low key bat supporter Britishpea: Lol nice analysis but You will understand when results start trooping in.
It is hard for Atiku to win the elections. Tinubu carries the day.
Kwakwanso will steal part of Buhari votes and part of Atikus.
Kwakwanso won’t step down. If he does he’s finished politically. Same way Obi won’t try it.
Vote buying will be the order of the day during the elections. There’s a pipeline plan towards vote buying by the APC that’s different from the usuals.
All the parties: APC, Lp, PDP will buy votes depending on their capacity except Kwakwanso’ nnpp. Who knows that he stands no chance but just trying to gain momentum for future endorsement for the presidency.
States governors will want to deliver their states. The odds favor Tinubu more than all the other candidates. SW has always failed to deliver a block votes for candidates that come out from there but this time they will do better. |

Politics › Re: Bola Ahmed Tinubu Should Not Have Allowed Buhari To Be President. by ukenke: 10:31pm On Jan 14, 2023 |
Plain and simple inspirator1: This is the greatest mistake of his political career. Maybe he thought that the "Presidency" will rule for just one term and step down, forgetting that power intoxicates. Sequel to what His Excellency Jonathan Ebele Goodluck said "power makes politicians blind". I believe this was the part that Tinubu didn't periscope in the character of Buhari that he may renege in any agreement they had hitherto as he will be blind to agreements and rules of engagement.
If Tinubu had contested eight years ago, who in the South won't vote for him? Give it to him, he is pragmatic and energetic then with sound mind cum reasoning, but presently he is in the shadows of his yester glories. This scares shit out of every Nigerian that knew him because the trust they had in the then Buhari has been climatised with smiling and suffering, ineptitude, nepotism, aberration of rule of law and many high hydra ills in the society; We do not want to try that part again. The wanton killings of the citizens going on unabated from North to East, now West is on the beat.
The emergency of Buhari is the undoing of Tinubu's presidential aspirations. He helped them to lure us into misery, so he should enjoy the backlash from it. I wish him well in his quest, but certainly my vote can't be for him. Buhari has taught us a lesson through hardship, because he was not in charge due to age and health issues; a situation akin to Tinubu. |

Politics › Re: NNPC Discovers Oil In Nasarawa by ukenke: 9:01pm On Jan 13, 2023 |
This news is somehow. No key words and numbers associated with oil discovery. Like name of well, depth, thickness of oil formation, estimated volumes etc. Sounds untrue unless they are hiding things. valentineuwakwe: The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited on Friday announced the discovery of oil in Nasarawa State and said it was set to drill the first foot of an oil well in the Northern state.
It said the discovery was in continuation of its oil exploration activities in the country’s inland basins, adding that it would spud the first oil well in Nasarawa State in March 2023.
On January 5, 2023, The PUNCH reported that NNPC was prospecting for crude oil in more locations across the north, after discovering the commodity in Bauchi and Gombe states.
The report stated that NNPC was taking coordinated steps for more frontier exploration in the region, as part of measures to shore up the country’s oil output and reserves.
The company had disclosed this in a document on the frontier exploration services activities of the NNPC from 2020 to 2022, as outlined some prospective states where oil was expected to be discovered include Niger, Nasarawa, Sokoto, Borno, Yobe, Adamawa, Bauchi, and Gombe.
Beyond the North, the Anambra basin was listed as another area where the NNPC was striving to find more oil.
Prospecting is the first stage in discovering the oil and gas fields, under which seismic surveys are carried out.
On Friday, NNPC’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Mele Kyari, announced the oil discovery and the planned spud-in when the Governor of the state, Abdullahi Sule, led a delegation of prominent indigenes on a courtesy visit to NNPC in Abuja.
Kyari, in a statement issued in Abuja by the corporation’s spokesperson, Garba-Deen Mohammad, said the results of exploratory activities confirmed the presence of substantial hydrocarbon resources in the state.
He called for prompt action on the project as the global energy transition had led to a reduction in investment in fossil fuels.
“This work must be done very fast because the whole world is walking away from fossil fuel due to energy transition, the earlier you go to market, the better for you,” Kyari stated.
He added, “Otherwise, 10 years from now, no one will agree to put money in the petroleum business except it comes from your cash flow.”
He said community support and a conducive environment were key to a successful operation in the area, in order to avoid the experience of the Niger Delta.
In his response, the Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, congratulated the NNPC boss on the successful commencement of oil production and the Kolmani Integrated Development Project which was inaugurated in November 2022 by the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.).
He commended the President for his support and assured NNPC of a conducive environment.

SDP will be the major opposition. PDAPC will disintegrate after the general election. MrEverest: APC was the major opposition party to PDP, they eventually won the general election in 2015 and relegated PDP to opposition. The situation remained like that until the emergence of a third force, Labour Party.
If INEC organizes a free and fair election and the wishes of most Nigerians count, resulting in Peter Obi winning the election. Which party between APC and PDP is likely to remain dominant as the opposition party? Or will Nigeria become a 3 party state? |

You are writing like a kid that you are.
To cut the story short!
70% Peter Obi supporters are Igbos
The Peter Obi noise on social media is not surprising because majority of Obi supporters are on social media.
But what is Igbo voting strength? Check previous election results and you see NO IGBO STATE HAS more voting strength than RIVERS, LAGOS, KANO, KASTINA. How will Obi win??
Majority of our Northern brothers are illiterate. And this region has majority vote. They are not on social media to match Igbo noise.
These Northerners will vote accordingly to order from their elites.
2023 election won’t even be free and fair. Kids in Nigeria politics thinks it will be free and fair. Wait for the North to do their rigging and see.
If Tinubu wins, It will affect the Chances of Igbo Presidency in many years to come.
|
