For this people's heart is waxed gross and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and i should heal them.

May God hv mercy on them.
When ever we study the bible(same scripture) either separately or together and and pick up different understanding,it could either be that one studied leaving out the spirit or we both studied carnally but just be rest assured that some one is wrong for us to understand it differently ! The bible says same thing to all who study spiritually ! Even if there is a new revelation therein,it MUST not contradict other part of the scriptures !
Now concerning the scriptures you quoted up there, before i start another futile effort to convince(NOT YOU I GUESS)those who will stumble on this and will be open hearted to study spiritually, let us consider the scriptures you quoted above:
Acts 16:13-15''One of them was Lydia from Thyatira, a merchant of expensive purple cloth, who worshiped God. As she listened to us, the Lord opened her heart, and she accepted what Paul was saying. She was baptized along with other members of her household, and she asked us to be her guests. “If you agree that I am a true believer in the Lord,” she said, “come and stay at my home.” And she urged us until we agreed.''
From the scripture above,we can see that this woman was already worshiping God prior her encounter with Paul. Can you also see that the Lord opened her heart firstto accept the teachings before she was baptized ? Can you see that the bible never mentioned infants as part of her house hold even as it's of a truth that infant can also be part of a house hold. Now to tell you that it was all matured teachable and 'learnable' are the ones that were baptized, see above the criterion(acceptance of the teachings first)for baptizing Lydia ! Had it been that infants were allowed to baptized even before the meeting of Lydia, she would have been baptized long ago as an infant before meeting Paul since the bible recorded in this same account that Lydia was a worshipper before encountering Paul !
Have we also noted that in this very Lydia case that her heart was opened in response to hearing the gospel and she believed and those who heard with her in her house believed. There are no children mentioned. In fact, there’s no husband mentioned, and if there’s no husband mentioned, very possible she didn’t have any children.

Acts 16:33 ! Lets take it back a little;Acts 16:29-33
''The jailer called for lights and ran to the dungeon and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. Then he brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household.” And they shared the word of the Lord with him and with all who lived in his household. Even at that hour of the night, the jailer cared for them and washed their wounds. Then he and everyone in his household were immediately baptized.''
From the above, again we can see why everyone in his house hold were baptized. They were allinstructed to believe in the word and be saved. No man believed for the other but they all believed for themselves !The writer said believe in the lord Jesus along with everyone in ur house hold and you will be saved ! It concluded that and they shared the word with him and ALL IN HIS HOUSE HOLD ! It's synanimus with the teachings of our beloved Peter in Acts 2:38''“Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.'' Peter isn't referring to babies or infants hear but to those who can actually repent becos they have sinned ! Not infants !
1 Corinthians 1:16
In the Stephanas household of 1 Corinthians, all who were baptized, it says, 1 Corinthians 1, all who were baptized were devoted to the ministry of the saints. Compare that in 1 Corinthians 15. They were all helping in the spiritual work of the church as we have in 1 Corinthians 1:16. They were devoted to the ministry of the saints. They were helping in the spiritual work of the church. Therefore they weren’t infants. No infant was mentioned there.Just like the other cases discussed above !

The explanations above should just be okay for those who want to learn, but if you are in for an argument, nothing i put up here will make you believe except God draws you ! For this is another ending case like the Mary Worship !

God help us all
u are d one wasting time to explain to him cos he will never accept what u say from now till tommorow. He has alreay close his mind to the truth. But dat is nice.

italo: Have we finished with the issue of intercession?

Have you decided whether it is a sin to ask someone to pray for us or not?

Have you found out what is the pillar and foundation of the truth?

Have you decided when the Bible was compiled, by who and under what authority?

Have you educated yourself about the many books that were excluded from the Bible, by who...and why?

Have you told us if "denominations" is biblical?

These are questions that I have asked you which you dont want to answer truthfully...because the truthful answer will embarass you.

Instead, you prefer to divert the issue and throw all manner of accusations without thrashing anyone thoroughly.

You want to be declared winner? I declare you winner!

You want truth.....?
remember i said ur answer should be yes or no and u are telling me cock and bull story. I throw it to u again, yes or no?

calculusx: It is possible for 3 people to read the same book, same text, same passage, word for word but have different meanings. We all cant reason the same way. I hope this answer your question

(Acts 16:15) Lydia was converted by Paul's preaching and baptized with her household

(Acts 16:33) The Philiphian Jailer was baptized along with his household

(1 Cor. 1:16) Stephanas household was baptized

{Matthew 28:19} "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit'' Are children exempted from disciples of all nations?

{Matthew 25:31-32} Also made mention of the same Phrase ''Baptize the whole nations''

So many more passages talks about the whole household been baptized. My question to you is what makes a household,is it just the the father and mother? Your response will be your answer. Good Morning
did it also tells you the ages of those in the household. Did it mention that infants are in the household? Yes or no?
The church of Christ that knows no denomination ! All godly denominations are the church of Christ ! God will pick from all of the churches scattered abroad ! No one will be picked based on his denomination ! The church of Christ was founded By Christ himself and he asked peter then to teach the rest after he has been fully fed ! I laugh sometimes wen i hear people saying peter is the first pope of the rcc and i laugh at much ignorance ! Peter the first pope yet he was married ! Peter the first pope yet he never prayed the rosary one day ! Peter the first pope yet he never baptized any infant ! Peter the first pope yet he never prayed to God through Mary at any time ! Peter the first pope yet he never stopped any one who took bread(body of Christ) from taking the wine(blood of Jesus)! Peter the first pope yet he never said some believing Christians are saint and the rest believers are not. peter the first pope yet he never said some christians are priest and the rest are not ! Peter the first pope yet he never stopped any bishop from getting married ! Peter the first pope yet he never worshiped or bowed down to any image whatsoever ! Peter the first pope yet he never sprinkled any believer and call it baptism ! May be after the death of the 'first pope of the rcc' things drastically changed !
God will continue to help us untill we all leave the roman catholic institution !

God help us
you see how he is displaying his ignorance on this forum. He simply knows nothing about the bible he and his colleague claimed that they compiled. Pity!

italo: But you said it is ignorance to ask anyone to pray for you.

You said Jesus wants us to come directly.

You said it was a sin.

Why are you continuing in this "sin" and "ignorance?"
i can tell my pastor to pray for me being the servant of God. My pastor will then pray in the name of jesus for me. Now tell me when you say mary should pray for you, is she hearing ur plea? Is she alive? Can a dead person hear you? Or u want to tell me that mary did not die?
By the ways, cant i pray to God on my own? If i want to pray must i call on my pastor who is not there or my dead grandfather to pray for me when he cannot hear me at that time? As u people do always. You need to understand this things.
Pls answer me?

italo: LOL!!!

So if you are not really sure who or when, how are you sure the compilers didnt include books that were not inspired and exclude inspired books?

I once again put it to you that the Bible was compiled by the Catholic Church in the 4th century. If the Catholic Church wasnt inspired by the Holy Spirit to do this, the Bible cannot be trusted. If you disagree please answer the above question.
now tell me. Are they doing according to the bible that they claim that they compiled? If only that is true.

Why are ladies opening their head in church? Is it to display their new hairstyles or what? Is it proper?

Now, some questions we would be confronted with is as follows:

1. When ladies open their head in church, does it not contradicts paul's teaching in 1corinthians 11:1-16.

2. Are they not usurping men's authority for not putting a covering on their head?

3. Does women in bible days go to church without covering their head with a veil or a scarfs? Or they open it.

4. Is the symbol of authority that paul talks about in 1corinthians 11:10 the woman's long hair or what?

5. If the woman's long hair is her glory does she suppose to display that glory in God's presence? Or cover it up and submit to his glory? Isaiah 42:8.

6. When a lady display her long hair in church is she not competing with God's glory? And that she lacked submission to God's authority and the headship of the man?

7. Is it really true that women's long hair is given to them for a covering?

8. Are ladies suppose to prophesy, pray etc without covering their head or hair?

I want you to drop your comment and provide answers to these questions.

i just say that to express my amazement. That does not mean that u know the bible more than me. U cant twist scripture to deceive me. I know the history of the bible but u would be adamant to accept d truth. I dnt waist my time for nothing. Ok.
