Harakiri: This has nothing to do with Nigerian Police Force. All these sad events erupt from our inhumanity to each other. It only reveals itself when we are in positions of power to met out the wickedness in our hearts to others. In every federal infrastructure or public organization, you see our fellow Africans using their positions to oppress others e.g soldiers/naval and air-force officers will beat civilians to the point of death in broad daylight while people gather to watch, LASTMA/VIO and other individuals whose jobs is supposed to maintain order on our roads use their position as an avenue to extort motorists (to them, it's a crime for your vehicle to break down on the road and they can beat you up for not "co-operating", nurses in general hospitals don't care about human life unless you give them egunje to take special care of your loved ones (I've seen a lot of nasty things i can't mention here), the president/governors/senators/rep members/LGA chairman/councilors are only interested in looting government funds and don't give a damn about the masses, commercial bus drivers seize every little opportunity to hike the price of transport fares, market traders utilize every little change in the economy to skyrocket the prices of commodities, landlords increase rent on a yearly basis without a care in the world for the struggling man, tenants choose to owe their landlords rent for years while going to court all because they feel they can get away with it, churches are nothing more than business centres who exploit the gullible and weak minded (i can go on and on).

What i'm trying to say is, Africans (or Nigerians to be specific) don't give a damn about anyone else than themselves. This nonchalance reflects on our police force. Go to the tribal section of this forum and the kind of evil/vile/wicked posts you see there is a reflection of our animosity towards each other.

I've been laughing uncontrollably mostly at your post including the the really funny comments and partly at my own personal experience.

You're not alone homeboy! I flew chanchangi from Lagos to Abj in 2005 and i cant ever forget that experience.

After takeoff, the aircraft's nose did not level up throughout that flight! The nose was constantly up by as much as 20 to 30 degrees. I'm not kidding, just imagine a plane constantly flying in that angle!  We basically "took-off" throughout that flight.

That was one of the scariest days of my life and also one of the funniest.

I wonder what you guys are doing with those bricks in the first place.

Please also know that Arik is a good company that employs their pilots base on qualifications, and not what  poster is claiming, and 90% of it fleet are brand new

@ Poster, Arik Air have more Aircraft orders that can be comfirm on Boeing website, and even have order for the world biggest passenger Airline, Airbus 380

I have stayed and chatted with Arikair Pilots and crew in same Hotel in Ikeja lagos for  Six months, and the owner of that Hotel is from Edo State just like CEO of Arik,
