Here's the lyrics of the song, LOW by Wizkid and produced by the music mogul, Larry Gaaga. If you remember 2Baba's Amaka, you will surely know who Larry Gaaga is.
The song has been criticised to be another random noise due to Wizkid's heavy repetition of chorus and pre-chorus, but we believe it is another song that upholds Wizkid's status as the Africa number one.
Watch, listen and make your call: is it a hit, or another random noise?
In 2004, taking off shirts while celebrating a goal during a football match became punishable by a yellow card. This was not the case before then until a Manchester United footballer pulled off his shirt while celebrating and refusing to put it back on in time.
His name is Diego Forlan. The former Uruguayan international forced FIFA to review the law 12 of the footballing rules after refusing to put on his shirt following a shirtless celebration of the winning goal which he scored against Southampton in 2004. The reviewed law now empowers the match official to show a yellow card to any footballer who contravenes the rule.
The law also puts in check, time wastage. It prevents players from vehemently celebrating so as not to enroach on the limited match time.
The law is also in place to prevent players from sending messages whether personal, political, or even paying homage or supporting a cause. This is to keep the neutrality of FIFA clean.
The rule has been of immense benefit to brand sponsors who pay huge sum of money for their brands to be displayed so as to be seen by as many as possible. Taking off shirt during celebration denies the brand sponsors necessary revenues. While FIFA do not emphasise marketing reasons, brand sponsors are particular about them but some footballers don't really care as they fling their shirts seamlessly.
The video of Forlan's rule changing celebration is attached to this post.
What will be the musical relevance of this pervasive lyrical challenge in decades to come? No wonder most Nigerian songs are short-lived and evaporate to oblivion after pretending to be songs which soothe the soul.
Here's the lyrics of the diss track recorded by Blackface aimed at 2Baba. The song carries a lot of accusations bothering on intellectual theft, homosexualism, ingratitude and a dare to challenge.

As early as the age of 19, Davido had always found himself enmeshed in controversies. Here, Snitram Media, a fast rising entertainment YouTube channel, chronicles the five times Davido had dissed fellow celebrities in his songs. A vivid explanation is provided in the video accessible with the link below. Please, watch and kindly subscribe.
1. Wizkid: on his way to stardom and now that he is a star, Davido has refused to succumb to Wizkid as a senior musician (or a better singer). His first jig at Wiz was in his song all of you. While Wizkid, at the time, was claiming supremacy, Davido acknowledged 2Baba, Psquare and D'banj as 'Babas' and went ahead to claim "... I am bigger than some of you". Of course, some of you was addressing none but Wizkid
2. Wizkid...... Again! : of all musicians, Wiz has been at the most receiving end of Davido's diss. That time though, Wiz fired the first shot by claiming Davido was a mere local champion. Davido, who is fond of sending his diss mostly in someone else's song when being featured, took to Olamide's summer body to send his reply. In the song, Davido wondered if one could be local even with Yankee passport. His exact words were; "my name is Davido, Omo Atlanta... with Yankee passport dem say we local, you better catch up, I go see you later"
3. Psquare: it still remains unclear why Davido took a jig at Psquare. In his song, Owonikoko, he was heard saying, "if you dance like Jackson, Omo, iyen ko kan mi o, and if you dance like Raymond (Usher), Omo, iyen ko kan wa o, owo ni koko. This roughly translates in English to mean, whether you dance like Jackson or Usher is none of our concern, money is the only important thing. It was later rumoured that he was referring to Paul Okoye (Rude boy) for the inordinate show of his mansion.
4. Dele Momodu: what ought to have been an internal affair ended up in public glare when the Momodus became high on neck with the Adelekes over their daughter, Sophia. With Mr. Dele Momodu becoming too annoyingly vocal, our star musician took to Falz's Bad Baddo Baddest to fire a warning shot. He referred to Mr. Dele Momodu as his boy and warned him that he (Davido) was over protected. His words were "Mr. Dele na my boy, Dele na my boy... I get like hundred nigg*as wey dey protect me, so, if you love yourself, mo*fu*cker, no dey vex me"
5. Caroline Danjuma: following the death of her boyfriend, Tagbo, who happened to be one of Davido's hypemen, Caroline called out Davido several times accusing him of having a finger in the death. Davido waited patiently until he was tried and convicted by the police before serving Caroline hot salad. In his song, FIA, Davido informed Caro that he wasn't needed in her soap opera, so, she could save him the drama. His words were, "... Caroline, save your drama... Hello Diva, save your drama, you don't need me for your soap opera"

lalasticlala: Most beautiful? Do you mean most popular?
Within us (Snitram Media), Chidinma carried the day, closely followed by Niniola. We were stunned by the revelation of the questionnaires we administered. Personally, as a person, Tiwa Savage won't make the list of my top ten but we can't subvert popular views. So, we had to go ahead with the video attached to the post.
Please, can you help us push it to front page, probably many NLers will also go with Tiwa Savage? May be I should change the title to, is Tiwa Savage the most beautiful Nigerian female singer?
PS: the questionnaires were administered to the students of faculty of Social Science, University of Lagos.
Snitram Media, a fast-rising YouTube entertainment channel, went round the University of Lagos to sample the opinions of selected students with the use of questionnaires on who they think are Nigerian most beautiful female singers.
The exercise was carried out in two phases. The first phase returned with majority of opinions ranking the following as the seven most beautiful- Tiwa Savage, Simi, Chidinma, Yemi Alade, Cynthia Morgan, Seyi Shay and Niniola.
To narrow the ranking to just five, another questionnaire was administered. The analysis of the opinions revealed that the following are the top five (5) most beautiful females in the Nigerian music industry
5. Niniola 4. Seyi Shay 3. Yemi Alade 3. Chidinma (same as Yemi) ................. 1. Tiwa Savage
It was also discovered that most Nigerians are not too familiar with female musicians

I achieved almost everything but lost my Motunrayo (iyawo mi, baby mi, iya mi, Ife mi, Ayo mi) to whatever reason only her can explain. The girl was worth a million blessing to me. I wish her good luck in the future and I hope one day, she will explain why she left me.
